Aris Amsterdam

I really enjoyed the room and the location. Everything was comfortable and convenient, and the host was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Location

Great property in an ideal location close to Amsterdam central station. The property was extremely clean, nicely furnished and decorated with lovely finishing touches such as treats and daily cleaning. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser toilet tissue, hand wash, hair straightener all included. Property was super cute too. Aris was very kind, accommodating and friendly and available if needed. I would definitely rebook here on my next trip to Amsterdam.

Este alojamiento tiene todo lo necesario para tu estadía, nosotros estuvimos una semana y no nos faltó nada. La ubicación perfecta porque estás a unas pocas cuadras de la estación Central pero en un barrio muy lindo. Vienen a limpiar todos los días y si usaste tazas o platos los dejan limpios también. Nos dejaron cosas ricas para recibirnos y también otros días durante la estadía . Lo mejor tuvieron la delicadeza de dejarnos salir más tarde ya que ellos pudieron porque el día estaba libre y nosotros necesitábamos porque el avión salía más tarde y teníamos muchas valijas. 😜❤️ Nos recibió una señora súper amable que nos explicó todo y nos dio recomendaciones.

Хозяин квартиры невероятно прекрасный и заботливый человек. В квартире есть абсолютно все , для удобства гостей , просто невероятно, что он учел все потребности гостей и все предоставил, даже мелочи. Очень щедрый и гостеприимный хозяин, очень рекомендую!

Minha estadia foi perfeita! A localização é excelente, e o apartamento é amplo, confortável e muito bem equipado, com cafeteira, chaleira e diversos utensílios de cozinha. Tudo estava impecavelmente limpo, e eu me senti muito acolhida durante toda a hospedagem. O anfitrião foi simplesmente incrível: extremamente atencioso e gentil. Fomos recebidos com alguns alimentos, chocolates e suco como cortesia, além de ele ter nos ajudado levando as malas até o quarto. Sua hospitalidade fez toda a diferença e tornou a experiência ainda mais especial.

Gostei de tudo, nada a reclamar.

Wonderful and well-equipped room, thoughtfully appointed by the ever-helpful and accommodating host, Aris who went out of the way to support our needs and stay. Can’t recommend his place enough and it will be our choice of accommodation if we visit Amsterdam again!

Less so the property but the narrow winding stairs without a lift inherent to Amsterdam homes make this a challenging place for elders and travellers with heavy bulky luggages. Unit is split level so some more stairs are to be expected inside.

The host is good any requests we had he done everything he could to accommodate us. Location is very good not to far from center but just far enough out for it to be a peaceful quiet area

everything about it was fantastic. Aris is probably the most thoughtful host. Things like a box of this you may have forgotten!! exceptionally well equipped apartment even has hair straighteners!! loved this stay can't wait to return.

there was nothing I didn't like!

When we got here we was both blown away with how perfect it was. It wasn’t like your usual room in Amsterdam this was something a lot more comfort. There wasn’t just a tiny room with a small bathroom. It was spacious, so clean, everything about are stay was prefect. The staff was so lovely, went through everything in the room even offered if we was ever stuck to give her a message. My favourite thing about staying here was the little book they have made with all information on the best recommendations, their recommendations how far things was the best times to visit attractions.

Nothing could have been better. This place was perfect! First time staying here. We have visited Amsterdam over 10 times , and this was the best place by far

初めてのアムステルダム、宿泊先をかなり迷いましたが、こちらのお宿で大正解でした。セントラル駅から近いけどとても静かで、周りにはおしゃれな雑貨屋さんや美味しいパン屋さんが多く、歩くだけでも異国情緒万歳でとても楽しかったです。 何よりオーナーのArisさんのサービスが素晴らしく、チェックインからアウトまで、自分の家のように過ごせました。何度も海外のホテルに泊まった経験がありますが、日本の"おもてなし"の精神と同等のサービスが感じられたのは、ここが初めてです。ホテルというより、海外版の旅館と考えた方がいいと思います。とても満足のいく宿泊体験になりました。 お部屋もとても広く綺麗で内装も可愛く、何よりアムステルダムらしいお家に泊まる体験ができたのがよかったです。 日本人としては、お風呂の浴槽と洗い場が別になっていることに感激しました。ラバーダックもオランダらしくていいなと思いました。シャンプーなどのアメニティが、ガイドブックにも載っているEtosのものだったので、事前に使い心地が体験できたのもよかったです。とてもリラックスできました。 またこれは日本人の方へ向けてですが、お部屋が暗く感じるかもしれません。私自身カナダに住んでいますが、欧米の一般的な部屋の明るさはこのくらいでも普通なので、初めて体験される方は驚かれるかもしれません。 階段が急勾配すぎるというネガティブな口コミを見ましたが、それでこのホテルの評価がマイナスになるようなことは感じませんでした。確かに、特に女性がスーツケースを持って1人で使いやすい階段ではありませんでしたが、手すりも付いていたので、高齢者の方でない限り、足元に気をつけて上り下りすればそこまで心配しなくても良いのではないかと思いますし、チェックインの際にはArisさんが荷物のサポートしてくださったので、非常に助かりました。アムステルダムに訪れる際の定宿になりそうです。 初めてのアムステルダム訪問を特別なものにしてくださり、ありがとうございました！

良くなかった点はないのですが、提案としてひとつだけ。 近隣にはクロワッサンが美味しいパン屋さんが多かったので、コンベクションタイプのオーブンがあれば、温かく焼きたてのパンが食べられるので、今後喜ばれるのではないかと思いました(ポップアップ式のトースターはあったので、食パンは焼けます)。

We stayed at Aris accommodation for three nights while visiting Amsterdam and really liked the place. We were welcomed by the host who was very friendly and gave us some recommendations for the area and explained the map to us. The location is great, the apartment is very close to the central train station (yet very quiet at night) and basically within walking distance of everything including supermarkets and cafes. The apartment was very cosy and had everything that we needed, a coffee machine, kettle, plates, cups, cutlery, a little table and even free waffles :-) It also had two separate beds with the second one upstairs which was great because it gave me and my relative our own space. The bathroom had both a bath and a shower. There was also a daily housekeeping.

Il bagno è posto ad un livello più basso rispetto alla camera da letto e non è riscaldato. Consiglio un rinnovo dell’impianto elettrico in quanto il sistema di accensione delle luci della camera o dello scaldabagno non è ben intuibile

The location was perfect. Mary-Grace sent me a text a few days before our arrive to arrange the time to meet us at with the key. She was extremely helpful and pleasant. The property itself was amazing, I will 100% stay here again when I come to Amsterdam

Great location close to Amsterdam centre and railway station. Comfort authentic Holland house not far from channels, supermarket, cafe and restaurants. Quite place, almost no noise. Tea, coffee capsules, kettle, coffemaker, iron, shampoo and etc. - nice additional options. Personal was friendly also.

The location was absolutely perfect. Close to the train station and many bars/restaurants but very quiet. 100% recommend it for a long weekend if you don’t want to cook meals but simply enjoy the sights of Amsterdam. It’s a perfect base. A little oasis in the busy city to come back to at the end of a fun day!

Amazing stay in the heart of Amsterdam! The location was absolutely perfect — close to everything but tucked away just enough to feel peaceful. The space was cozy and clean, with a warm and welcoming vibe. A note for future guests: the bed upstairs is super cute and cozy, but best suited for someone shorter and more petite, as standing room is limited. The host was truly exceptional — very responsive, greeted us personally, and even helped carry our bags up the stairs. He also gave us a hand-drawn map full of great local tips, and there was a handy guide in the apartment with restaurant and activity recommendations. Overall, a fantastic experience. We’d definitely stay here again

A bed on a separate level gave some privacy for our teenager. Kettle, coffee maker, microwave, bowls and cutlery and small fridge meant we could have breakfast in the apartment. Beds and pillows were so comfy. The lady who checked us in and Aris were so lovely. 5 minutes from the central train station with supermarket bars and restaurants nearby. The apartment was in a quiet area off a busy street.

Strange having to wash up in the bathroom but it worked and we were grateful for the chance to make food and drinks

It was such a lovely and cozy space! Chris was so friendly and showed us how everything worked. The coffee machine and kettle were very nice amenities to have - as were the hair tools!

The shower drain is strangely positioned and the water from the shower gets outside the shower space.

Perfect location close to lots of great cafes, shops, and the central station. Room was quiet at night, hot water never ran out, and was overflowing with nespresso pods for all your caffeine needs. The daily housekeeping is a big plus as well! It’s a really nice spot for two friends traveling together. I would for sure stay at Aris Amsterdam again even for a solo trip.

No access to a washer/dryer if you’re there for a longer stay but Aris gives wash ‘n fold recs in his house info book.

Place was clean & cosy so many extra touches even had a hair straightener. Location was perfect short walk from central station. We will definitely be back.

The apartment was just as described. The host met us at the apartment, went over the layout and how to work the heat/air and gave us some tips to avoid any trouble and tips of things to do. Also has a big binder with restaurant recommendations all organized by kind of food and distance from the apartment. Same for points of interest/attractions with directions to get there. House keeping came by every day to restock the towels, coffee/tea and clean. Overall it exceeded our expectations! We would definitely stay here again!

Steep stairs to get up to apartment on 2nd floor, might be issue for those with mobility problems. We however managed the stairs well.

Apartment was lovely modern and clean and some thoughtful touches added like the forget something box, the straighteners, curling tong and the straighteners loved it.

Only negative was the no sink to wash our dishes felt bad leaving them to the cleaners the stairs were manageable but had to watchbyour step. Apart from that it was amazing.

Everything is as it has to be, its a a cosy studio flat with enough space and warm decoration.

Great location, right by Amsterdam Central station and all the main attractions are within 20-minute walk. The provided list of restaurants/places to eat really saved us a lot of time, and they all turned out to be great too! Coffee pods and tea provided were superb, cherry on top. Totally recommended and would totally stay here again! :)

Location. It was cleaned daily. Owner left waffles. Coffee maker. Liked the book.

One shower flooded the bathroom. Owner addressed it promptly but it was so unpleasant dealing with it. Stairs are treacherous. Someone in our party fell going down to the bathroom. Radiator randomly came on and heated up the upstairs. Construction crew in building knocked on the door and entered our unit to access the roof for 30 min. Things were clean but there were stains (walls, bedding and towels). I guess this is to be expected not being in a hotel.

Absolutely perfect. I had been traveling for about 24 hours when I arrived and was exhausted when I arrived. However, Aris was punctual and helped me figure out how to get there from the airport. The room is really comfortable, is very clean, was quiet, and overall I'm so glad I booked it. Loved the coffee machine, snacks, and plenty of Nespresso pods. We wished we could have extended our stay but of course it was already booked by the time we tried! Also, I ended up traveling alone for the first 20 hours or so (my husband's flight was delayed) but I felt very safe as a young woman traveling alone. Would absolutely stay again!

The "Aris Apartment" was a fantastic, very cozy place owned by an amazing host! Not only the apartment was luckily situated on a good place near to Amsterdam Centraal (nearly 5-6min walk), but also close to bus and train stations. Around the apartment street there were markets, cafes, which were very good, as after long walk in the city center, me and my parents had a dinner in one of those cafes, and was just in 5 steps walk to our apartment. The apartment itself was so nice! It was styled with a very good taste of a host! Apartment had everything you need, including bath stuff and kitchen stuff! Very comfortable beds! Apartment was being cleaned every single day! And it was so cool to have that service, as every day you got fresh towels, fresh bed sheets, and just clean rooms! Aside of the coziness of the apartment - the kindness, the support and help of a Host - Aris himself was exceptional! He helped us with recommendations around the city, he gave us very useful advices regarding food buying, and some nice places to visit in Amsterdam! Mr Aris was the best host we had in our apartment renting experience! We did apartment renting several times in other countries, but Aris Apartment in Amsterdam and Aris himself were indeed incredible! We liked him and the apartment a lot! If there is any coming back travel to Amsterdam me and parents will absolutely choose "Aris Apartment" again!👍👍

So happy we found this beautiful apartment. It was ideally located a short walk from Central station. The apartment was so fresh and clean. We had everything we needed including toiletries, smellies etc. even had hairdryer & straighteners available which was amazing!
