細い道を行った先にポツンと現れるレジデンス。広々とした畑を見渡せ、海や山とはまた違った開放感が感じられた。少し歩くと「夕日を楽しむ為のベンチ」が用意されていて、心ゆくまでのんびりと日が暮れていく様子が眺められる。スタッフもとても親切。サファリ後のシャワーや、揺れが酷くて食べられなかった朝食も、部屋でとらせて貰えたのが有り難かった。 サファリ込みのプランで宿泊したが、提携のドライバーさんがとても優秀だったのでおすすめ！！

特にないが、上掛けがブランケットではなくシーツの様な布一枚だった点かな。寒くて夜中に目が覚め（同行の息子は暑がり）風邪気味に。

Very welocming and profesional stuff. The place is very nice and perfectly clean, you can even take not a long walk to a nearby lake. We went for The Safari organized by the place And it was great.

This is one of the best family stays that money can buy. The staff here, manager Indaraj in particular, treat you like royalty from the minute you arrive. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well presented, and the grounds you can walk around are like something from a movie set in terms of how pristine they are. The dining area was beautiful, and the food quality was exceptional. It felt like we were being looked after by direct family the whole time we were here, and the only negative I can think of is that I did not choose to stay here longer. Everything was organized for us with ease over WhatsApp: driver transfer from our prior location, safari tour with an excellent and safe driver in Yala National Park, and transfer to our next destination. I honestly can’t stress enough how well you will be looked after here, it helped us create beautiful family memories and my kids were sad to leave which says it all. Thank you so much one again to the whole team, you guys are the best representation of Sri Lankan hospitality.

Very spacious, clean, and comfortable room. Has everything we needed. They organized an excellent safari for us with a lovely cautious driver. The owner even got up at 5:30am to give us our packed breakfasts and to see us off. Lovely stay!

Recently my husband, myself and our four young adult children stayed at Mailagama Cinnamon Residence. Mr Raj the manager and his staff treated us with so much hospitality when we arrived we had just had drinks and appetizers at a resort two hours away and just started having stomach issues. The staff custom made white rice, white toast, pol roti and lemon tea to help us get us through our illness. The room and bathroom was extremely clean and the shower nice and hot. Air conditioning and WiFi worked well. Once we regained our appetite we were treated to the most delicious food. Mr Raj gave us a tour of the garden to see the paddy feels and all the organic fruits, vegetables and spices used in the cooking of our meals. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Large spacious and clean room with a lovely view. The communication prior to our stay was excellent. The hotel arranged a safari for us at yala which was amazing as we didnt want the busy part of yala national park so that we bad more time on safari rather than being stuck in a que and we got to see a rate sloth bear! The food was delicious. The owners also told us about a parade for a local religious festival that we did not know was happening. It was very beautiful to experience. Whilst we were there my son became unwell. Luckily the owner was a doctor who examined him and gave us a prescription. We were so thankful. The best hosts in Sri Lanka

Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is wonderfully located among rice fields and palm trees, making it a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The surroundings are beautiful, and the area is exceptionally quiet. I especially enjoyed the lovely balcony, which was a perfect place to sit and take in the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Considering the location, comfort, and service, the hotel offers excellent value for money. I would gladly stay here again.

Very clean and nice homeowners. Sleeping arrangements are also well done and extremely beautiful garden.

We have been cuddled all the time! The team at Maligama was super kind with us, they helped us to find a pool nearby and organised our safari at Yala. The place is really magic and deserves more than one night stop just for Yala. July, with Kataragama festival, it’s a great time to visit. Don’t miss to visit temples during puja even if you are not there for the festival: traditional Sri Lanka dances are performed daily at sun set in the Hindu temple.

It just miss a swimming pool to be perfect!

Perfect stay with the best hosts. Went on a tour of their property on arrival afternoon and saw rice fields, Cinnamon, peppers, peacocks, squirrel, tamarind, etc and visited their tree house with a coconut thatched roof. Evening meal with choice of Sri Lankan dishes, we had vegetarian hoppers and ice cream. Room had wonderful balcony overlooking rice fields. Next day lovely breakfast with toast, butter, jam, fried eggs, tomato, cucumber, tiny bananas and a fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and a nutritional seed mix. We went by tuk tuk to see the bird park and meet the man who made it and he spent 2 hours showing us the trees and birds for donations only, an excellent project. We went on Yala safari organised by hotel for 17,000 lkr for 2 of us for private jeep. The guide was amazing and we got to see a leopard drinking water, guide sent us his photos, he was an amazing photographer, buffalo, mongoose, deer, Peacock, crocodile, etc. Went in entrance 5 in afternoon and not busy at all. Then evening meal and breakfast. Everything was incredibly clean, owners and staff were lovely and always very keen to ensure everything was perfect which it was. Strongly recommend. Excellent value for money.

Everything! Perfect location with incredible views and staff, especially the manager. The food was really, really good as well.

The property is a beautiful classic building that has been well maintained. The owners are a lovely couple who take great care of the guests. The food is exceptional and we even got invited to join the host family for New Years celebration and food, which was very touching. The hosts organised our Yala Safari and it was very straightforward.

Prima accomodatie met een adembenemend uitzicht over de rijstvelden. Het eten was erg goed en het personeel was vriendelijk. Was er voor ons helemaal uitsprong was de safari die ze voor ons geregeld hadden. We weten helaas de naam van de chauffeur niet meer maar hij was geweldig. Hij heeft enorm veel moeite gedaan om ons een luipaard te laten zien. Hij reed zelfs kilometers achteruit op een eenrichtingweg om dit voor ons te regelen. Waarvoor grote dank!

We misten een koelkastje op de kamer maar konden gelukkig wel gebruik maken van de koelkast van de eigenaren.

Staff were amazing and friendly and treated us like family. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were exceptional… great flavours and price you pay to stay at the residence to get what you do is very generous.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at this place. Beautiful property in a gorgeous setting. It was a fun base to explore the surrounding countryside. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The food is delicious!! Our 4 year old son was treated like family.

A hidden gem. This accomodation was so beautiful. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Food was amazing. Great location for Yala block 5 and Block 1 via Kattaragama entrance.

The location which we had to travel very far from the main road and the road is also not good… food is not so special its okay kind of…

Beautiful resort, luxury spotles room, very nice and friendly staff members. We get a spice garden tour for free, where we learn a lot of new. Perfect safari arangment for good price and great packed breakfast. We were sorry to stay just one night here.

Conveniently close to block 1 in yala national Park, the most popular block. Very quiet scenic location. A generous dinner was provided with exceptional service by staff who were all friendly. Very spacious room with air-conditioning. The owner took me for a little tour around the gardens to look at the cinnamon plantations etc which was a lovely addition. Very accommodating during my stay.

Bathroom outdated, bed was a bit firm.

Strávili sme tu len jednu noc ale bol to krásny zážitok. Personál milí, strava veľmi dobrá. Je to asi rodinný hotel lebo som sa tam cítil ako doma :-). Všetko bolo čisté a izby dostatočne veľké. Najúžasnejšie bolo to ráno s výhľadom do okolia. Manželka cvičila jogu a v pozadí zvuky pávou a vtákov. fantastické ráno. Najlepšie bolo ,že tam predávali vlastné koreniny zo záhrady. Už sme otvorili a musím uznať kvalitné bez žiadnych chemikálii. Ďakujem krásne celému hotelu za úžasný zážitok.

What a way to experience Yala. Everything about this guesthouse was right, from the Sri Lankan farm experience to coordinating our activities. Our hosts and staff were amazing, and rooms comfortable and very clean.

Really wasn't anything

We were only here for one night but it was really amazing. Indira and everyone that works here are super helpful and welcoming. It was great to see all the spices grown, as well as having a walk around and watching the sunset over the paddy fields. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy. Wish we could have stayed longer!

They were super friendly. The safari we booked through them was amazing, they sorted gave us some great packed lunch and breakfast. There is nothing negative I can think of really.

What a wonderful time we had here. From the welcome to the farewell. The food was fantastic, the accommodation perfect and so peaceful. Cannot recommend this enough. Really wanted to stay longer.

Une maison pleine de charme posée au milieu des rizières. Un personnel très gentil. Excellent rice and curry le soir. Le lieu est très isolé, ce qui peut être un atout (ou pas pour ceux qui aime se promener le soir :-)

Wir wurden persönlich und herzlich in Empfang genommen. Uns wurde eine kostenlose Führung auf der Obst- & Gemüseplantage und durch den Gewürzgarten angeboten. Diese war sehr informativ und hat uns super gut gefallen. Uns wurde viel über den lokalen Bio-Anbau erzählt und die weitere Verarbeitung von bspw. Pfeffer und Zimt. Alle Produkte wurden auch zu echt fairen Preisen verkauft. Die lokalen Erzeugnisse werden in der Küche verarbeitet und als Zutaten für das Abendessen und das Frühstück verwendet. Beides war super lecker. Über die Lodge haben wir eine Ganztagessafari gebucht. Diese war wirklich ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis im Yala Nationalpark. Wir waren in Block 1 unterwegs und haben über den Tag Elefanten, Leoparden und sogar einen Lippenbären gesehen und beobachten können. Eine absolute Empfehlung.

Een magische plek tussen de rijstvelden en kaneel plantage. Het grote koloniale pand is van een Engelse arts die samen met haar man jaren geleden een kaneelplantage en B&B is begonnen. Er heerst een heel rustige en gemoedelijke sfeer. We arriveerden op een heel hete dag nadat we met onze eigen tuktuk over de B35 Elephant Road waren gekomen. Een fantastische ervaring. De manager Inbaraj stelde ons bij aankomt meteen op ons gemak met kaneelthee. Een heel fijn ontvangst. We hebben ‘s avond heerlijk gegeten in de veranda en ook ‘s ochtends weer een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt gehad. Het ontbrak ons aan niets. De kamer was prima en schoon maar vonden wij niet erg sfeervol, een beetje steriel wit. ‘s-Ochtens na het ontbijt hebben we een uitgebreide rondleiding over de kaneelplantage en groete tuin gehad. Manager Inbaraj deed heel erg zijn best om er heel veel over te vertellen. Erg leuk en leerzaam. Het was absoluut weer een geweldig verblijf en we kunnen het dan ook aan iedereen aanbevelen. Bardzo udany pobyt! Safari było świetnie zorganizowane i dostarczyło nam wielu niezapomnianych wrażeń. Jedzenie bardzo smaczne, świeże i różnorodne. Ogromnym atutem jest plantacja cynamonu oraz piękny ogródek na terenie obiektu – można poczuć prawdziwy, spokojny, wiejski klimat. To idealne miejsce na odpoczynek blisko natury. Zdecydowanie polecam!

⸻ Aufgrund kurzfristiger Änderungen unserer Reise haben wir uns spontan für dieses Hotel entschieden. Die Zimmer sind eher zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Leider gab es im Badezimmer Schimmel- bzw. Stockflecken. Zudem waren der Wasserboiler und die Lüftung nachts recht laut. Es standen zunächst zwei Duschtücher zur Verfügung; auf Nachfrage erhielten wir problemlos ein weiteres Handtuch sowie einen Föhn. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Anlage der Unterkunft ist wirklich wunderschön. Besonders begeistert hat uns der hauseigene Nutzgarten sowie die eigene Zimtplantage, die wir besichtigen konnten. Auch die über das Hotel organisierte Safari verlief reibungslos und war ein tolles Erlebnis. Die Besitzer sind zudem sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und stets bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

Amazing location out in the countryside - listening to the evening wildlife as the sun goes down and eating our dinner outside. Our host, Raj, showed us how cinnamon was grown and harvested along with all their other fruit snd veg. He also gave us a real insight in to all areas of the tea industry from his many years experience working on the plantations and he also arranged a tuktuk to take us to our bus to Ella. Nearly forgot the safari…lovely packed lunch and got to see a leopard!

Beautiful accommodation. Spacious room with comfortable beds and hot showers. The host was amazing and looked after us so well. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stay for 1 night when visiting Yala National Park. This was the perfect setting with stunning views. Dinner was amazing - freshly cooked Sri Lankan curry. We also used the swimming pool at the hotel next door which was very reasonable and open for guests.

2 night stay for relaxing after doing the roundtrip Negombo-Sigiriya-Kandy-Nuwara Eliya-Ella in a selfdriven Tuk Tuk. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Raj and his lovely assistant, who immediately offered a cup of cinnamon tea. Although it's already been 2:00 pm, Raj assured us, to provide some lunch snacks. The room was great, very clean (we have experienced that much worse in all other hotels before), equipped with two large single beds and a third smaller bed. Room #4 on the second floor comes with a marvellous view of the rice fields and the cinnamon plantation! For the next day, we were organized a private driver for a half-day safari to nearby Yala Nationalpark. Even though we missed the leopard, it's been a great experience. And guys, when staying there, I absolutely recommend eating there for dinner! Not only that the next town is a ten minute drive, but the Sri Lankan food served there is extremly tasteful and manifold. Rice & curry, hoppers, noodles, Kottu, everything prepared freshly. Not to forget the breakfast, absolutely delicious, too. But over all, the attentive and more than friendly service of Raj and his team members is outstanding. After taking a photo with him and his assistant this morning, we were really sad to leave. So big thumbs up and 100% of recommendation!

Un endroit merveilleux au milieu de la nature. La chambre et la literie etait très agréables avec une vue incroyable.. Les propriaitaired sont très attentionné et les prix des délicieux repas sont imbattables! Ils ont organisé un safari pour nous a un super prix et louer un scooter. Nous avons acheter du poivre et de la canelle de leur production biologique a un prix canon.

Очень понравилось что рис который выращивают на поле подают гостям к столу. Брали ужины в отеле, очень рекомендую. Качество блюд на высоте. В отеле очень приятная атмосфера спокойствия и умиротворения. Так же бронировали сафари тур из отеля. Рекомендую брать на весь день, так как во второй половине дня в 5 блоке можно увидеть много слонов.

Много москитов. В номерах насекомых нет, но поужинать без укусов невозможно. Нужно обязательно средство от укусов

Relaxing property in the countryside which overlooks rice fields and flowers. Great spot to disconnect and enjoy nature that is also close to Yala National Park. The manager organised a safari for us with packed breakfast and lunch, making the whole day smooth and enjoyable. Raj took us on a tour of the farm and showed us how the cinnamon is harvested and processed.

The staff are really amazing, manager is an interesting character but really nice. The view is wonderful, the property itself is really beautiful. The manager offers a tour of the cinnamon field. Booked a safari with the hotel and everything was smooth.

The safari driver might be pushy for you to book a full day with him, even if you book a half-day safari.

- The peaceful surroundings, nestled among padi fields and nature, offered the perfect setting to unwind. On top of that, the residence was blessed with plenty of fresh breeze, which added to the comfort and natural charm of the setting. - The entire setup was incredibly thoughtful with clear instructions, little reminders and everything arranged with care and attention to detail. - The tour to the plantation and cinnamon factory were both informative and enjoyable, offering a deeper appreciation of the natural surroundings, and the produce and spice grown on-site. - The owner demonstrated excellent communication skills, was highly responsive and resourceful. - The staffs were consistently warm and welcoming. They exhibited great skill and extensive knowledge of their work environment and responsibilities. - And the food? Absolutely fresh, flavourful and unforgettable. We all had more than one serving at every meal, and genuinely looked forward to the next.

We truly wished we could have stayed longer to fully savour the peaceful atmosphere and hospitality.

Everything was perfect! A wonderful place surrounded by rice fields, very well protected from mosquitoes with nets at the entrance of the rooms. The room was spacious and very clean. Above all, the hosts were amazing – so kind and welcoming. The food was excellent, inexpensive, and served in generous portions. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Stanza con vista panoramica meravigliosa sulle risaie al tramonto. Staff molto disponibile ed efficiente. Stanza pulitissima e fornitissima di qualsiasi articolo utile. Presente sia ventilatore che condizionatore funzionanti.

Posto bellissimo ma lontano dalla vita cittadina. La direttrice parla benissimo inglese, mentre il resto dello staff molto poco per cui a volte è difficile farsi capire dai dipendenti. Nei dintorni non ci sono ristoranti per cui devi mangiare presso la struttura, e la cucina è abbondante ma molto poco saporita, l'unica cosa che dovrebbero davvero migliorare molto. Di notte possono circolare elefanti nei dintorni per cui conviene non uscire dal resort. Gli ATM sono lontani dal resort.

C’est un vrai dépaysement au milieu des rizières, une merveille pour les yeux. La bâtisse est belle, la chambre est propre , les lits sont confortables. Le personnel est au petit soin. Nous avons passé une seule nuit avant notre safari là bas , nous sommes super content d’avoir choisi cet hôtel.

Pas de moustiquaires autour du lit , mais une devant la porte ce qui est un peu moins embêtant. Le repas du soir était délicieux , mais peu de choix. Tout le reste est parfait.

Wir haben dieses Hotel gebucht, um am Morgen früh auf Safari zu fahren. Es war alles super. Wir haben einen ausgezeichneten Fahrer bekommen und eine schöne Safari gehabt. Das Lunchpacket für die Safari war ebenfalls sehr gut. Auch haben wir am Abend super lecker gegessen und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Piękny teren wokół obiektu, cisza i spokój. Personel bardzo miły i pomocny. Korzystaliśmy tylko z kolacji dodatkowo płatnej - była bardzo pyszna i tania.
