Great Location, Big and comfortable room and above all the greatest host ever he helped me us do a late check in even when we arrived at 00:30 am and the check in was until 22:00 and also gave us a bigger room with less money. This is the Greek hospitality and "Filotimo" as they say in Greek

The room looked terrible, a basement with nothing in it. The fridge inside the room was lighting the whole room and we had to put a towel on top to be able to sleep. The bed was small, this felt like a student room..

À peine arrivés, le bailleur a insisté pour nous changer de chambre (raisons?), nous a demandé d'annuler la réservation initiale sur booking puis de lui régler à nouveau le prix de la nuit pour une chambre plus grande au même prix. Le tout a été fait dans la précipitation avec insistance, pour un 1er contact ce n'est pas du tout professionnel. La chambre est conforme, pas la plus propre, mais correcte. Il est difficile de se garer à l'extérieur de la chambre.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera n. 1 all’ultimo piano con annesso terrazzo in comune per gli ospiti. La struttura si trova in una buona posizione, comoda per il centro e vicino a una fermata dell’autobus per aeroporto. Mike è stato davvero gentile e disponibile.

Struttura in pieno centro. Mike sempre super disponibile per qualsiasi evenienza. In camera c’era tutto , non avevamo capito che all’ultimo piano c’era un terrazzo con una bella vista in cui stendere i vestiti.

Camera al piano terreno , per il resto tutto bene.

Mike est réellement aux petits soins. J’ai pu lui laisser ma valise vu mon vol tardif, et est joignable par whatapps (répond très rapidement !). Merci encore pour sa gentillesse ! Le logement est à 7 min à pieds du Centre, la ligne de bus vous amenant à l’aéroport se trouve dans la rue adjacente. Emplacement plus que pratique.

We were given an upgrade to a bigger room, which was so lovely and thankful as the original room would have been quite small and tight with our 2 large and 2 small suitcases That was very much appreciated after travelling for more than 24hrs. The room was simple but clean, and that was the main thing we needed for a short 1 night stay, as we would have been arriving at 10:30pm and leaving at 8:00am the next morning. The host, Mike, was such a lovely and generous host.

The shower leaked some water on the bathmat, but not a big deal at all. The bed was a little firm, but many people like a firmer mattress anyway.

La ubicación perfecta, cerca del centro pero tranquilo para dormir sin ruidos. Encontramos parking súper rápido y muy cerca. La cama muy cómoda, el baño súper limpio. Mike súper amable, nos recomendó un sitio para cenar y nos puso en una habitación superior a la que contratamos, en la última planta con una terracita con vistas ideal para desayunar algo de un café que esta a dos pasos.

Camera essenziale, con tutto l'occorrente per un soggiorno di una notte. Posizione centrale, buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

La struttura era in una posizione perfetta. Estremamente vicina al centro del Paese (5 minuti di passeggiata) e con fermata dei bus e supermercati sotto casa. L’host, oltre ad essere gentilissimo, si è premurato ogni giorno di sapere se avessimo idee su cosa visitare e quali spiagge prediligere. Le camere sono semplici e funzionali.

Un incubo, meno male che sono pagato poche ore.

Ho prenotato camera con bagno, con deboli scuse mi hanno dato un altra camara con bagno separato da un corridoio comune che fungeva come deposito e museo di oggettistica trascurata. Nella camera non cera 1 cosa intera senza danni. Rumori tutta la notte. Il bagno... Pietoso

Το κεντρικό σημείο και ότι μας αναβάθμισαν από μόνοι τους δωρεάν λόγω μικρού παιδιού που είχαμε.

Δεν είχε ασανσέρ και τα σεντόνια & μαξιλαροθήκες ήταν έγχρωμα κάτι το οποίο σε δυσκολεύει να διακρίνεις την καθαριότητα.

Nice location, very clean studio. The host Michalis was very nice and he kept my bag for me after the check out.

La habitación era cómoda, baño amplio y el dueño vino a presentarse y para darnos información, muy servicial y amable. Solo pasamos una noche así que bien. A pocos metros hay una calle céntrica.

La calle donde se encuentra es un poco oscura y da mala impresión pero a pocos metros ves que tienes al lado una calle principal y transitada así que todo muy bien y sin problemas.

Mike était exceptionnel, un hôte en or qui donne de bonnes adresses qui plus est !

Comunicazione perfetta, rapida e attenta a tutte le necessità. Posizione centrale, ci si può spostare tranquillamente a piedi. Letto comodo, va bene per un breve soggiorno.

Stanza in generale poco accogliente, tra luci fredde, colori spenti e arredamento triste. Abbastanza pulita ma con mattonelle macchiate e fughe poco curate. Un po' claustrofobica perché nel sottoscala, con solo delle finestrelle in alto a livello del piano strada.

La actitud del dueño Mike, a full todo el día para los huéspedes. NO LE ALCANZA PARA TODO. ESTABA SUCIO Y ERA NECESARIO PEDIR QUE PASE UN TRAPO. FALTA PERSONAL. HERMOSO BALCON!!!! SE VE EL MAR Y LA CIUDAD!!

La idea de subir 74 escalones y bajarlos es extenuante. Y se ve la falta de limpieza.

Good location walkable distance to most things. Room was nice and comfortable was quite big aswell. The host was really kind and helpful.

Obwohl wir ein Zimmer im Souterrain hatten, durften wir die Dachterrasse nutzen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

De locatie was prima, terras met uitzicht en de plaats was net buiten het centrum waardoor het rustig was. Bovendien was de gastheer zeer behulpzaam.

De kamer was wel hoog zonder lift. Niet geschikt voor gasten die slecht ter been zijn.

I don't get the hight score for this accommodation. Yes, it's centrally located, but there is no other positive aspect other than the location.

First, it wasn't clean. Like dead flies and hair in the bathroom and smelling like someone smoked in there heavily - really bad smell. It was noisy, bed is very uncomfortable, you can feel the springs coming out of the mattress. It seems improvised anyway, you fear it will break if you move. I could see a water bottle behind the sofa, so clearly the cleaning wasn't done properly, if any was made. The bed sheets and towels are very old and weary. Honestly I don't think the good location is worth it. Unless you really don't care about where you sleep and you don't kind the noise or you don't cherish any comfort.

The room was exactly as in pictures. Good location. Comfortable and clean.

Mike è accogliente e gentile. La struttura è molto vicina alla fermata del bus e a due passi dai locali del centro. Si riposa bene perché non arriva il rumore del traffico. Consigliata per visitare Heraklion. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

Simple accommodation close to the centre, with a very helpful host. We spent one night there, it was perfect for that.

Parking is not easy but Mike helped with that. The room is in a basement.

I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade, so I stayed in one of the rooms with a roof terrace, which offered a magnificent view over the city. The host is very friendly and helpful. I really liked the location; I had dinner just around the corner in an authentic café with a cozy atmosphere.

The owner is friendly, and communication was very easy and straightforward. The place is well located and was clean. There was a mini-fridge in the room.

We stayed in room 5, and the owner immediately mentioned that the previous guests had damaged the shower. He had tried to fix it so that water wouldn’t leak from the shower into the bathroom, but unfortunately, it still did. Everything got flooded. Another important detail is that the room is in a basement, and people walking by on the street can see absolutely everything happening inside unless the curtains are completely closed. Fortunately, it was only for one night, so I didn’t bother to complain.Parking is impossible in the area, the streets are very narrow.

I was in a basement room with windows on the street and the motor bikes were noisy with the windows open. But I will choose to stay again because Mike the host was so kind and helpful.

C’est vraiment dommage, car Mike est très sympathique et nous a même aidés à trouver un taxi. J’espère sincèrement qu’il prendra rapidement les mesures nécessaires pour que cette chambre ne soit plus dans un état insalubre.

Je ne peux que vous déconseiller ce logement. Je ne souhaite à personne d’y passer une nuit. Peut-être avons-nous eu la malchance d’occuper la pire chambre, mais le fait est qu’elle se trouve en sous-sol, extrêmement humide, avec une odeur persistante de moisissure. Dans la salle de bain, sans aucune ouverture vers l’extérieur, c’est encore pire : une forte odeur d’égout y stagne en permanence.

Die Lage neben der Busstation zum Flughafen ist gut vor der (frühen) Abreise. Der Manager, Mike, war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es gibt eine funktionierende Klimaanlage und das Bad war sauber.

Die Gegend/der Ort ist nachts für eine Frau alleine nicht sehr angenehm. Die Bettwäsche roch alles andere als frisch und hatte eine undefinierbare Farbe (schwarzgrauer Flanell, verwaschen, gar nicht wie auf dem Bild). Teekocher innen nicht sauber, den hätte ich nicht benutzt, auch nicht den Bettvorleger. Fenster mussten (vergittert mit Fliegengitter, immerhin) gekippt bleiben, vielleicht wegen dem Geruch im Keller - das Zimmer ist im Untergeschoß bezw eben Keller. Das heisst, man hört Fluglärm etc. Auch ging immer wieder ein Licht im Flur an und aus, welches durch ein kleines 'Fenster' ins Zimmer hineinblinkte.

Big fridge (didn't use it but is nice). Simple check in and check out. The staff tried as much as possible to be helpful. Long bed. All the consumables.

Shower at the same level of the bathroom floor, soaking the carpet. Super uncomfortable bed and pillows. Shower curtain (just remove it). Weird stuff around the room that adds zero value or atmosphere except that everything is cheap and randomly picked. The description of the room doesn't match the reality: No hair dryer and the only view you have is the one of the feet of the people walking outside, I was under the level of the road (due to that you have a reduced air change bc people look at you in the bed while they pass in front of it, so you can't keep the window much open). The wifi wasn't stable. I still wish the best to Mike, he really is trying, and I'm sure he'll make it better and better.

Era una habitación en un sótano, tenía mal olor a humedad y poca ventilación.

Super Lage in der Altstadt. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Alles sehr unproblematisch.

Unser Zimmer war unter dem Straßenniveau und etwas laut. Auch von den anderen Zimmern haben wir ziemlich viel gehört.

Ήταν μια οικονομική επιλογή που ενδείκνυται για λίγες ημέρες και εφόσον επιστρέφεις στο δωμάτιο για έναν ύπνο. Ο οικοδεσπότης πολύ φιλικός και εξυπηρετικός, ήταν πρόθυμος να μας βοηθήσει.

Camera pulita e fornita dí climatizzatore e asciugamani. Manca l’asciugacapelli. La mia camera si trovava nel piano seminterrato quindi niente finestre ma solo delle prese d’aria in alto. Host gentile e molto disponibile. Nel complesso una buona struttura per una notte .

Dalla camera passa la colonna di scarico acque quindi pareva di sentire l’acqua in camera oltre a sentirsi il costante rumore di in autoclave. Impossibile trovare parcheggio nei pressi della struttura. Ho dovuto ricorrere al parcheggio a pagamento dietro la cattedrale di Santa Mena

La stanza si trova nel seminterrato e non ha praticamente finestre (non era specificato nella descrizione su Booking). L’ambiente è umido e insalubre. Le tubature dei bagni delle altre stanze fanno rumore. La stanza è molto piccola (più piccola di quanto indicato su Booking) e decadente, con quadri messi a tappare buchi nel muro.

The accommodation was great for a sleepover and had everything we needed. What really stood out was the host – extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive. He explained everything clearly, from parking to local recommendations, and made sure our stay was smooth and comfortable. A truly exceptional level of hospitality.

La experiencia ha sido horrible desde que llegamos a la habitación. Mike nos había tratado muy bien con taxi esperando en el aeropuerto y todo pero al llegar y meternos en la cama fue un no parar de gente pasando por el pasillo; corriendo, andando, hablando, gritando, silbando, hablando por teléfono… la gente entraba y salía de las habitaciones dando portazos y todo se escuchaba en nuestra habitación que estaba en medio del pasillo. Así hasta las 6 de la mñn que ya decidieron estar en silencio. Era como estar en la calle. La puerta de entrada estaba abierta continuamente y entraba y salía la gente sin ningún tipo de seguridad.
