Very convenient location for the airport. We had access to a washer and dryer. The room was clean and had air conditioning. We had a room in the back which was quiet. We were told by other guests that the rooms facing the street were noisy.

Parking wasn’t great. The lot nearby was usually filled with cars and we had to park further down the street. The air conditioner had problems, couldn’t turn it on or off easily. The community kitchen wasn’t as clean as some of the other places we stayed on the island. This is likely due to not having staff on site.

Era bonito y contaba con cocina compartida

Nada más entrar notamos la humedad y el polvo y me dio problemas de sinusitis y estornudos. Por eso tuvimos que buscar otra alternativa y alojarnos en otro hotel. El trato con el personal del hotel fue amable y nos hicieron el reembolso de la estancia al no constar con otro tipo de habitación disponible

Umístění, možnost parkování u objektu, pronajímatel starostlivý (i když jsme nic nepotřebovali), pokoj hezky připravený, čisto, voňavo.

Koupelna mimo pokoj v dolním patře, ale to bylo "vykoupeno" balkónem, který jsme chtěli. A zjistili jsme, že společné prostory pro více ubytovaných s rozdílným pohledem na úklid není nic pro nás. (Není chyba pronajímatele!)

Buen alojamiento, cómodo, agradable y con todos los servicios.

La entrada se retrasó por que la habitación estaba sin limpiar de los anteriores huéspedes. El servicio lo teníamos en la parte inferior.

O que mais gostei no alojamento foi o quarto escolhido, e ter arrumação, e também ar condicionado.!!!

O que não gostamos no alojamento, foi a cama não estar em perfeitas condições e o comando do ar condicionado estar com falhas .!!!

El lugar es bonito, acogedor, la habitación es cómoda y con lavabo propio en la misma. Zonas comunes cuidadas. Aparcamiento en las proximidades. Poder hacer lavadoras y secadoras es un plus.

Había bastante humedad en el ambiente. Durante la estancia no había servicio de limpieza en la habitación. En la zona de la cocina, la papelera no se vaciaba con asiduidad.

almente bueno, la localización, por lo demás ha dejado mucho que desear, desde el cuarto de baño con mal olor durante toda nuestra instancia hasta estar sucio desde el primer día. El cuarto le pasaba exactamente igual, pelos por todo el suelo, colcha sucia y con manchas al igual que el estor, tenía manchas de moho y suciedad, la terraza igual. Y de las zonas comunes ni hablar, todo muy sucio, y sensación de dejadez.

La practicidad de las instalaciones, cuenta con cocina equipada y sala de lavandería.

Emplacement top, entrée d'autoroute proche, bien situé sur l'ile. Parking disponible ou dans les rues à proximité gratuitement. Machine à laver et sèche linge disponibles gratuitement. Spacieux. Hôte disponible et réactif.

Il est vrai que si les fenêtres sont ouvertes, il y a le bruit de la circulation en journée. Mais la nuit, avec les fenêtres fermées et la clim, c'est très calme ! Si les vacanciers respectent les espaces communs le logement est calme, sinon c'est mal isolé. Il est vrai que le climat est humide, mais c'est tout à fait normal. Pensez à bien aérer votre chambre le matin et le soir et ca ira.

La ubicación

olia a humedad y moho,el cual estaba en cada esquina de la habitación, los más grande tapado con muebles, la habitacion estaba al lado de la cocina y se oía todo, encima de vez en cuando entraban hormigas y bichos a la habitacion. No limpiaron ni cambiaron sabanas en una semana Mi peor experiencia en un viaje. Y llevo unos cuantos..

Die Lage war gut und es gab keine Probleme einen Parkplatz zu finden.

Das Badezimmer war nicht sauber. Es lagen tote Insekten (Käfer und Schaben) rum. Die Matratze/ Matratzen waren komplett durchgelegen. Im Zimmer herrschte eine so hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit, dass Klamotten und Handtücher nicht trockneten. Selbst das Lüften hat nicht geholfen. Es roch entsprechend modrig und es war auch leichter Schimmel an der Wand zu finden.

Küche und Bad waren in Ordnung. Größe und Ausstattung vom Zimmer Nr 1 mit eigenem Bad war OK.

Zimmer lag direkt an der Straße. Autos fahren direkt am Fenster vorbei, daher war es sehr laut. (Bis weit nach Mitternacht) Matratzen durchgelegen Keine gute Möglichkeit die feuchte Kleidung zu trocken. Und immer klamme Handtücher. Und nie jemanden gesehen, um etwas zu fragen z.b. nach neuen Handtüchern Parkplatz zwar in der Nähe. Aber einen bekommen ist Glückssache.

die zimmer waren schimmelig. ich hatte jeden morgen starke halsschmerzen. badezimmer war auch sehr schmutzig, vorallem die duschen.

La humedad del cuarto

Mattress and pillows in the room were very comfortable. It was good that the shared kitchen had the cutlery and utensils that were stored into numbered cupboards, corresponding to the number of each guest’s door. Good rules to use the utensils, clean them and dry them and put everything back to avoid overcrowding the kitchen. Overall the kitchen counter was well kept.

The room was extremely humid due to the typical climate of the island. There were also small stains of mold on the ceiling. We were advised to keep the window blinders shut with the windows open, to prevent the damp smell, which didn’t exactly work. The fact that the rooms on the ground floor would suffer humidity more than then other rooms should be looked into, as the humidity made the air very heavy and sometimes hard to breathe, especially during the night or early in the morning. Any wet clothing or towel would simply not dry because of it too. The towels given by the property were also used and of course wet but they were never changed. This would be something that could be improved especially because of the humidity being so present, like every 2 days. The room was on the street and we could hear all the noises from outside very loudly. The kitchen floor was broken near the table and there were always constantly a lot of flies around. We also found a cockroach inside the kitchen during one morning.

Está a 2 minutos del centro de Ponta Delgada, que era lo que buscaba. Sitio tranquilo, con facilidad para aparcar el coche. Las habitaciones eran amplias con su baño privado. Podías hacer uso de las zonas comunes.

Abbiamo avuto un problema con il condizionatore 2 giorni prima ma il gestore si è attivato per portarci il gironi dopo un ventilatore in camera poiché il problema si è verificato sabato al rientro

Todo, muy limpio y bien ubicado

Probablemente si tuviese que decir algo, mejoraría la cama, pero no estaba mal del todo. El parking es difícil encontrarlo libre pero hay sitio cerca a unos 5 minutos andando.

Toda la organizacion de la casa.

La disponibilidad del personal para ayudar y hacer tú estancia mejor. Ubicación tranquila,a 5 minutos en coche del centro y sitio para aparcar en la calle.

Quarto a cheirar a mofo, esquentador não regula bem a temperatura da água, mau estacionamento.

Gli spazi comuni della struttura sono piacevoli e offrono sollievo allo scarso comfort delle camere. Le camere sono sufficientemente pulite e condizionate.

1. La struttura è lontana dal centro e posizionata su una strada trafficata, rumorosa e senza marciapiede. 2. Ho soggiornato nella camera 2 nella quale c'è un TERRIBILE, SOFFOCANTE e COSTANTE odore di muffa. Lasciare le finestre aperte (come suggerito) non risolve neanche lontanamente problema. Al contrario RIDUCE ULTERIORMENTE il comfort lasciando passare gli ASSORDANTI e COSTANTI rumori della strada. 3. La camera 2 è INCREDIBILMENTE UMIDA. Impossibile far asciugare anche solo gli asciugamani dopo la doccia. Asciugamani che NON vengono cambiati per tutta la durate del soggiorno (noi abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni). 4. Le camere 1 e 2 sono bordo strada (senza marciapiede) il che le rende rumorosissime. 5. Aprire le persiane rischia letteralmente di colpire i furgoncini che passano in strada. 6. La camera è molto piccola. Per esempio è impossibile usare il lavandino senza urtare con i sanitari che distano solo POCHI centimetri (forse una ventina) dal lavandino appunto. 7. SCARSA PRIVACY. Si sentono tutti i rumori delle altre camere e degli spazi comuni (anche solo gli altri ospiti camminare o usare la doccia). L'unica finestra della camera 2 si affaccia sulla strada e chiunque può guardare (o addirittura affacciarsi in camera), per cui si sta sempre con le tende chiuse (e quindi entra poca luce).

Not worth the money. The shower and AC did not work.

The price was definitely more affordable than most other options in Ponta Delgada.

The listing was misleading — it said the room had a private bathroom, but it was located outside the room and that was never mentioned. The kitchen is too small for the number of guests, Wi-Fi barely worked, and there was no cleaning or trash removal during our 5-day stay. Also, the “free parking” is just public street parking, and we often had to park far away.

the courtyard is the best place in the property.

STINKY!!!!! i believe the wall is invaded by mold, which is causing a very strong musty smell. Even after we kept the windows open for the entire afternoon to ventilate, as the host told us to, the room still smelled heavily of mold when we returned in the evening. the host replied the next day and ask their members to try to fix it but it didn’t work. although they are kindly to ask us to cancel the room and will refund the rest of the days, but we didn’t since it’s too waste of time. i’m aware of the humility, but i think the host should manage the mold problem before rent the room out again. ( i’m not sure if other rooms have the same problem) the mold not only causes strong smell but also bad to the health.

Easy check-in and check-out. Good communication. We had issues with the Wi-Fi from the very beginning. We informed the host, who was very helpful and placed a Wi-Fi repeater in our room. From then on, there were no problems

We spent a week at this accommodation, and it wasn’t ideal: - the room had a very unpleasant smell — musty, like a basement — and nothing helped get rid of it - the air was so damp that even the towels wouldn’t dry - throughout the entire week, there were no towel or bed linen changes, which was quite uncomfortable given the smell - there was no cleaning service either - the mattress was uncomfortable and saggy I think this place is suitable for a short stay, but not for more than two-three nights.

The room and kitchen and whole accommodation were very clean. Self check in was super easy. Outside area was nice.

The room air is musty and humid and we were not able to refresh the air in the room. The window was opened with protection all day long. Beyond that, we fully opened the window every morning and also doors but it was not enough. We also used AC but it was even worse. And street next to house was super nosy and quite dangerous. I felt like next to highway.

Some neighbours were not respecting the silent hours by putting reels loudly on the phone in the hallway and also frying food in the kitchen without opening the windows. Apart from this, the stay in the accommodation was very nice and comfortable, also the location was great!

The house was nicely looking, with a nice kitchen and a patio.

The room was extremely humid, with the wood floor dropping water. The pillows were super uncomfy, and no one took care of the common bins for at least 2-3 days (the ones we stayed there). Finally, parking there was kinda difficult having to park 5 min away most times.

The Inn is a perfectly maintained property amazing for a couple or an individual. We stayed there for 4 nights and it was just perfect. A short walk to the city centre, close to the airport and great value for money. Also the owner was so helpful both during and after the stay. We had lost something during the stay, and he was extremely helpful in trying to locate it, even going to the airport to check it for us! An extremely pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend!

The room and accommodation were very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. The location of the accommodation is perfect, the airport is close, I have to tell you we rented a car and we could reach any spot easily within one hour. The host was very kind to us and communicative.

The room air is musty and humid and we were not able to refresh the air in the room. The window faces the street and there were mosquito nets on the window with panels and the gaps between panels were tiny to refresh the air in the room. The window was opened with protection all day long. Beyond that, we fully opened the window every morning without protection above (It is not recommended due to small insects and others) and evening for a short period of time to fresh the air but it was not enough. My partner has asthma so she didn't like this air. There are parking slots next to the accommodation but it is already full very easily around 6 pm.

Bed/room were nice.

The walls are very thin, and you can hear noises from other people from the other rooms. The location is a bit far from the center, 30min walk or 7Euro Taxi.

Overall, we had a great experience with the Carvao PDL Inn. The room was wonderful, clean. The host was friendly, answered our messages immediately and always met our requests. The accommodation has a great location not far from the airport.

Our room was at the street. The street was very busy and has no sidewalk. So it was a bit loud and dangerous.

Good location (4 minutes from the airport by taxi) and the host is very responsive. Easy self-checkin process

We stayed 10 nights, the room and shared bathroom/area were clean, after 5 days we were offered a cleaning of our room. The owner also rented us some old dark towels for the beach at our request and we were regularly given new towels for the bathroom. We were in the room upstairs with a balcony and the humid odour wasn’t so bad there. I’d say it’s a fantastic accommodation for its price.

It’s not the accommodation’s fault but someone stole our food from the fridge so I’d unfortunately recommend some security locks.

Nice back garden

The room had a persistent mouldy smell throughout our stay. We barely spent any time there due to the overpowering odour. I wouldn't recommend this place, as all my clothes absorbed the mouldy smell and I had to pay for laundry at our next stop.

The inn is spacious and in a great condition. I liked the lack of having to check in in person. It was great to have the option of using code for check-in since we arrived late.

What I didn't like is related more to the city itself. I am not perfectly comfortable with the front door leading directly to the street without a sidewalk. It felt a bit dangerous to us.

Clean rooms, host was not there but reachable at midnight when my car was blocked. Check-in and check-out went very smooth.

Our beer was stolen from the fridge. My car was also blocked the night before our flight to Pico so had to ring doorbells in the neighbourhood at 00:00. This had nothing to do with the host but not a great experience. The host could also provide at least a couple of coffee cups for the coffee machine.

Conveniently located near the airport and less than 10 min drive into the City Center/lots of restaurants. Nice kitchen and ample shared outdoor space including a covered clothesline.

Room felt humid when we walked in and was musty.

A bit too far from the city center; the window of the room goes directly to the road ( even though it's small one) so you can hear the cars passing by and can't really open it; internet is not very good (for us it eas ok, but if you are planning to work there, it will not be possible); there are no pans in the kitchen and oven doesn't work, so you can basically just boil things there
