Reviewed Nov 16, 2025Fantastic location, as it only takes few minutes walking to get into the restaurants' area. Place itself warm and cozy, morning breakfast have few options (it is the same each morning, but it's sufficient for start). Absolutely great and helpful staff. Highly recommended if you want to have a comfortable spot to sleep (and with an interesting appearance) with a very good location towards most of the turism spots.

Reviewed Nov 12, 2025Dobra lokalizacja. Pokój na piętrze raczej mały ze skosami i niedużym balkonem. Dostępny czajnik, kawa, herbata. Duży plus za grzejnik łazienkowy. Ręczniki wymieniane codziennie. Można korzystać z kuchni. Rano (od 8.30) w tzw. salonie dla wszystkich gości są podawane śniadania z lokalnych produktów- duży wybór, smacznie.

Les lits un peu trop fermes, comme tout ceux que l'on a utilisé sur l'archipel. Le personel noncahalant, voire limite désagréable.

Reviewed Oct 21, 2025La ubicación y el edificio. Es una casa antigua con mucho encanto, y la decoración es muy pintoresca. La cocina dispone de todo lo necesario y está al servicio de los huéspedes. El servicio súper amable, lo mejor sin duda, el personal que trabaja allí.
Para personas sensibles a los olores, la casa huele muchísimo a humedad. Deberían instalar deshumidificadores en los baños y las habitaciones, porque durante nuestra estancia no ha parado de llover y las toallas y ropa no se secaba. El desayuno es muy básico. Y las opciones sin gluten muy limitadas aunque había cereales sin gluten.

Très déçus car nous avons été logés dans la chambre de " bonne" alors que nous avions réservé une chambre deluxe. Suite à ma demande, nous avons pu réintégrer une chambre un peu plus agréable au bout de 3 nuits...le propriétaire s'est excusé de " l'erreur" mais bon, nous étions un peu contrariés. Sinon, il manque de quoi poser les trousses de toilette et autres dans les salles de bain Pas de double vitrage, donc un peu bruyant.

Al estar en la planta baja y justo en la habitación delante de donde se sirve el desayuno había bastante ruido por la mañana, con lo cual si quieres dormir un poco más te será complicado incluso con tapones...

O isolamento sonoro do edifício não é ótimo por isso ouvem-se barulhos de outros hóspedes.

Reviewed Oct 7, 2025Die zentrale Lage war top zur Erkundung der Gegend. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und schön hergerichtet. Beim Frühstück sitzen alle Gäste an einem kommunikativen (wenn man es möchte) großen Tisch. Das Zimmer war groß und süß hergerichtet.
Das Zimmer hat bei der Ankunft leider etwas muffig gerochen und war Nachts hellhörig.

Reviewed Oct 6, 2025O alojamento correspondeu às expectativas. Estava bastante limpo e era confortável. Permitiram que fizéssemos o check-in muito mais cedo do que era suposto, demonstrando enorme consideração e flexibilidade.
O isolamento sonoro dos quartos é precário. A porta do meu quarto ficava numa área de grande exposição, uma vez que se situava mesmo à frente da sala onde servem o pequeno-almoço. O preço é muito elevado para o nível do alojamento.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025Die Unterkunft ist sehr charmant und sehr sauber. Die Lage super zentral. Die Kommunikstion war unkompliziert und hilfsbereit.
Leider ist das Haus recht hellhörig. Und es liegt direkt an einer recht befahrenen Straße. Je nachdem welches Zimmer man hat, kann dies etwas unangenehm sein. Wir könnten nach der ersten Nacht das Zimmer tauschen.

Im Kühlschrank stand Milch . Man konnte im Hinterhof auf einer kleinen Terrasse sitzen. Eine besondere Unterkunft!!

Não acho correto colocarem uma foto do quarto moderno e XPTO e depois ser do estilo Víntage. E o pior é que que fiquei com bolhas nas costas, penso eu que foi da toalha do banho ou do gel de banho. E ainda bem que ia com uma mala pequena e leve para subir aquelas escadas todas. Acho que se devia informar melhor das condições na plataforma.

A noter que dans l’hôtel il n’y a pas d’ascenseur, donc un vieux escalier à prendre avec vos valises pour monter à l’étage.

Frühstück im großen Wohnraum, Küche mit Kaffeeautomat für zwischendurch, Wasserkocher,Tee zu Auswahl. Wohnraum tagsüber zum nutzen offen, kleiner Innenhof mit Tischen .... auch für Raucher fein. Zimmer liebevoll im alten Stil eingerichtet und mit USB Stecker neben den Betten ausgestattet. Klimaanlage gut. Lage perfekt im Zentrum und 15min mit dem Taxi zum Flughafen. Kein steriles, nüchtern eingerichtetes modernes Haus 😀

Vu que c'est une vielle maison, l'insonorisation n'est pas super. Le petit déjeuner un peu trop industriel pourrait être amélioré avec de meilleurs produits..

Chambre au rez-de-chaussée assez bruyante dès 7h du matin car la salle du petit déjeuner est juste en face. Douche un peu vieillotte. Petit déjeuner assez industriel.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2025Das Frühstücksbuffet war mit Fertigprodukten vom Supermarkt, aufgeschnittene Früchte vom Vortag ( sicher nicht frisch aufgeschnitten am Morgen ). Also lieber kein Buffet als alles billige Supermarktprodukte. Oder einfach nur frisches Gebäck und Getränke- nichts mehr dazu.

Alojamiento pésimo. Para empezar la puerta de la habitación se podía abrir de una patada, ya que la cerradura era ridícula. Mal insonorizado por ventanas de madera de las de hace muchos años. Mobiliario muy antiguo y poco funcional. Todo esto seguro que es parte del encanto, pero nos resultó muy poco funcional. El lavabo del baño súper pequeño y no salía agua fría, además de tener una estanteria de cristal anclada en la pared, que si te intentabas lavar la cara o los dientes te podías dar con ella. La habitación olía a humedad que intentaban disimular poniendo el aire acondicionado muy frío. El desayuno muy escaso y malo, con algún alimento caducado. Relación calidad precio muy mala

Great breakfast Shared kitchen (although we didn't use much), everything polished & clean, easy to use. Booking offered free of charge taxi. This was a decision making point while deciding between few options.
Due to size of the pipes it is advised/asked to put the used toilet paper into a bin (which IS being picked up everyday). This is a big no-no wherever I go, and I know it's not unfortunately fault of the owner sometimes. (one can renovate the house pipes but still on street there could be a thin one). It took ages to get hot water in the shower. If something could be done with 2 points above I am happy to come back.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2025It was comfortable and close to the downtown area without being crowded or too noisy. It’s a nice old home with high ceilings and your typical Azorean decor. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great.
Coming from keyless entry, it took me a few tries with jet-lag to open my door with an old-fashioned warded lock. Bit I was an expert by the end of the stay!
