We had a great little vacation here, the property was nice, had everything we needed and was close to all the attractions in Cavendish.
Wish their website had more information about the property when it comes to what they have available, occupancy, maps, etc.
We have an EV and there was a charging station right in front of our room! The other cottage we booked was right beside the playground so we could just sit and watch the kids play. We did not select our cottages but they were both perfect for us.
Great location, nice cabin, comfortable bed
A house behind the tree line partied late into the night; we had to choose between opening the bedroom window and not sleeping because of the night or closing it to sleep and being uncomfortable-it was a hot few days.
Close to everything in Cavendish, clean grounds and friendly staff
one of the Hot tub wasn't working at the time, so it made it very difficult to get anytime in there.
Clean.comfortable and great location
Price
Location was good.
Very dated, poorly maintained cabins. Place looks very old and rundown.
The location accessible to everything and also the cottage was on a quiet street with well-kept grounds. Staff was great very helpful and respectful.
Could do with new proper beds with good mattress.
Location was excellent
Parking was alittle hard and getting around the cabins
Close to all amenities. Clean
The shower was horrible. Wouldn’t fully turn on. Water pooled in the bottom and slow draining.
The privacy, the amenities
Centrally located for amenities used.
Location was ok. Staff were friendly.
We were prepared for rustic, but definitely expecting more for the price paid. The unit had a lot of wear and tear and was not pet free as indicated on the booking site. The propane BBQ was suspect and likely should not have been used for safety reasons. The cabin also had pets in it previously and a considerable amount of insects (earwigs to be specific) in the bathrooms and bedding. We stayed at several other venues priced similarly to this one and no where near the value for this property in comparison. Definitely the low point of an otherwise great trip. The staff were friendly but that doesn’t make up for the poor experience. Would not book there again.
Location was good
Though my trip was a mini vacation I was still answering emails from work . Cottage 14 wifi was bad . Cottage 29 wifi was worse . I would gladly stay again if the wifi was more reliable . Owner was very generous with my accomadations for my 3rd nights stay
Sunset
Nearly everything besides sunset. Most things were outdated, old, needing replacing, slightly broken, loud. Window ac old and loud, bedding from 60s, unfriendly checkin.
It was good. Had utensils but usually , we will find salt pepper or coffee powder. These were not available.
Proximity to the beach. Very clean. Well furnished, had everything we needed.
WiFi signal and speed struggled at times
We were in town for the Sommo festival. This place is about 2.5 km from the concert site. Walkable if you don't mind 30 minutes uphill both ways. We stayed in one of the Motel rooms. It was cute, had camp vibes. The rooms are outdated for sure but the bathtub was newer and the shower was great. The beds were not good. The mattresses looked to be from the 1980's and very uncomfortable. You can feel the springs in the bed. Pillows were flat and hard. Sleep quality was pretty bad to be honest. Nice outdoor pool and hot tub on site. Kitchenette in the Motel rooms include microwave, mini fridge, sink, dishes and cutlery, and a small coffee maker - but bring your own coffee as none is provided. We paid about $270 per night all in and this seems very expensive for the condition of the room, but I'm assuming those prices were inflated because of the festival as well. May be cheaper normally.
Great location, close to the beach. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. Our cottage was the deluxe 2 bedroom. It was a lot smaller than I was expecting and outdated. I understand it’s part of the charm but the shower head didn’t work, the appliances were very old and didn’t work well (the toaster was very finicky and the oven door got so hot on the outside it’s very dangerous with kids). Floorboards were lifted in a few areas which could be dangerous. There is a coffee machine but no coffee was provided which I thought was unusual. Also no tissue or paper towels. We are a family of 5 and felt it was not enough space.
A great place to spend some time when you want to enjoy beautiful beaches, golf, and good local foods. All of these are an easy drive from the cottages. Also good for large groups. We rent 6 cottages for an annual family outing. Outside we have an area to enjoy games. Also to have a pot luck supper on one evening and a lobster dinner the next evening. The Inn does not offer food services so you must cater to your self. Not an issue when there are 12 people contributing to the meals.
I liked the ability to see the water from my front door and it was conveniently located. It was quiet and peaceful.
The people in the adjacent rooms were smoking and the smoke was coming into my window. The bathroom looked clean but there was an unpleasant smell to it.
Could have offered 1 roll of paper towel, 1 of Sara wrap inthe kitchen of a stay over 2 days.
Cozy, clean, perfect for our family get together
We left all our dirty towels on the porch as was requested but they were not restocked. Also no toilets paper
Good location.
The sheets and bedding were stained and dirty. One of the beds still had some sort of dirt in it. There was a musty smell throughout, the bathroom / toilet felt loose, minimal toiletries, and wuth no handsoap. Did not match the over 300 bucks a night.
What breakfast??
Nice location, pool
A little smelly in the room, but clean
The cottages are getting tired - they were clean but need a definite update Pillows and bed were very uncomfortable, and the sofa looked very unclean
Our extended family have been coming to these cottages for many years. They are spotlessly clean and well appointed. The WiFi is good for being in rural PEI. They are close to everything…shops, restaurants, fun parks, national park, seafood shop etc. The pool is great for the whole family. We have already booked for 2026.
Great staff very clean and great location
We had the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage and it was a perfect, quiet place to stay in the heart of Cavendish with some views of the ocean. The hot tub was a really nice after a long day of travel, and they have two hot tubs! So if one’s full we can use the other one. The cottage was clean and well appointed with full kitchen. The property is well kept and lots space for our dogs and games for families. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
We stayed in a newer two bedroom cottage (#57). It was perfect for the four of us. We loved having a firepit right outside of our cottage. The cottage comes equipped with full kitchen stuff so you could easily cook all your meals here. There is a bbq in the deck with full tank of propane provided. Bonus is that they have twoswiming pools and hot tubs, and the pool was fantastic and clean. We loved staying here and highly recommend it! We will be back next year!
Stayed in the 4 bedroom cottage, lots of room for the family. Kids enjoyed the pools! Great location for Cavendish, Brackley and Rustico. Able to BBQ our fish catch! Air conditioning was a welcome bonus.
Cottages were immaculate. Location was very good.
Le personnel est accommodant et gentil, Merci
Great location and well maintained
Arrived with a warm welcome and a quick check in. The cottage had everything we needed even though we had taken a few things with us that we like to use when cooking. All staff are very friendly and said hello when ever our paths crossed. Bed and pillows were spot on. With there being only 2 of us we never used the dishwasher but prepared and ate 75% of our meals at the cottage. The bbq came in very handy and was clean and ready when we arrived. We were there June 15 - 23,2025 the pool was open but to cool for us at 74F and they were having issues with the hot tub but not an issue as we had a jacuzzi tub in our cottage. Over all if I could rate higher than a 5 I would, will not hesitate to return again.
Very clean modern cottage. Check in was easy and friendly staff. Centrally located in the middle of Cavendish. Cottage #25 is located away from main road and has two bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again.
Property was fairly rough considering cost. Also, there was no heat in the cottage and evenings were 10 degrees C.
The property is pretty run down
We stayed here June 11-15. Overall we were happy with the cottages. There were 16 golfers in four cottages. Three were 4 bedroom and 1 was a 2 bedroom. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. We needed an early check in and they were able to provide 2 cottages earlier in the day for us which was much appreciated. The cottages themselves are adequate but are showing their age. Kitchen areas are galley style and are small. Main complaint was the toilets. The toilet seats were quite small and many of guys felt they should replace these seats. Overall we had a positive experience. Likely will visit again next time we go to Cavendish.
We loved the view and the location of the cottage. It was comfy and relaxing.
Not that we didn't like it, we found it soothing eventually, but when it is windy the cottage rocks.
Made our own breakfast. It was a very rainy night so really didn’t get a chance to see the property. Hot water.
Everything was fine. Our visit was very short so hard to judge.
The cottage was very nice, clean and close to where we wanted to go.
Plenty of room for four people, very clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again and would have like to have stayed longer😊
Propreté , équipements . Situation intéressante près du parc .
La fenêtre du salon est très embrouillée . Vue minimale sur la mer .
Having a bbq to use at the motel and ice on site!
Only thing I would change is make it Drivable from the office to the driveway of the Cabins!
Friendly staff
The second night we stayed was a cooler night and the heat didn’t work. We didn’t sleep much as we were so cold in bed. For the price we paid, I expected at least the heat to work.
We were lucky we were able to get a place for the night instantly. We already had a place booked there for the next night but under dire circumstances we needed a place for that night. We were given a big beautiful place instantly . Very clean, super helpful ,no bad odour or ants like the other place we had Thanks
This cottage had Very comfy beds, with lovely staff helpful staff and the cottage was clean. The hot tub and fire pits were a great way to end the evenings! It was peaceful, relaxing and a perfect weekend spent with family and friends! Totally recommend!
Very comfortable and quiet room in the inn. Close to a paved bike trail with access to a ride all the way to North Rustico. Enjoyed our stay. A heater was provided on a cooler day. It was convenient to Cavendish, Green Gables, and North Rustico.
The location of the property is great. It’s quiet and has a cleanish appearance.
The property is in poor repair. Everything is old and needs updating. We stayed in one of the older cottages. The deck and steps are in poor repair and don’t meet Canadian building code. The beds are uncomfortable as is the living room furniture. No care is given to the landscaping. All beds are overgrown and full of weeds.
Location
A/C was crap, fans were broken - there was a rusty gait swinging banging on the wall all night in the wind keeping us up. Have stayed here before and had great experience - the cabin we were in this time was garbage - there is a vast difference between quality of cabins
We enjoyed our stay here. It was our first time visiting the PEI and this was a great central location. We booked the motel with a cot. Nothing fancy but was a well equipped homebase for our stay. Mini fridge, sink, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishware, cutlery (surprisingly a bonus when booking something with a kitchenette). The laundry facilities were a bonus and super helpful. Hours are 9am-6pm. We made it work. All staff members were great & really friendly. The pools were nice. I love that there is 2 of them. I do agree that the pool hours till 9pm was early for us as we were usually out till close to that time or after. We did get 20 min in one evening till 9pm and a little in the afternoon one other day as well to cool off. We were out seeing the sites. Lots of places in walking distance. You can see the ocean from deck. ❤️ All in all. It was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to the island. Thank you 😊
Location
We stayed in the inn section which I would not recommend. We had booked two nights and left after one. The front desk was not helpful on checkout and we still paid for the second night as it was booked through booking.com. The room needed upgrades as everything was very old and outdated. The floor was sloping and the deadbolt on the door would not close due to the warping. Previous guests’ dirty towels were still hanging on back of bathroom door and there were stain marks and mold. No control over the AC as it was central. Finally found the hair dryer in a dresser drawer. It was the smallest hair dryer I’ve ever seen. It was also broken so I had to keep my hand in a certain way so it wouldn’t fold closed. Not accessible. Have to enter through a back entrance with stairs. There was a tv in the sitting area of our suite but many channels did not work. There was no tv in the bedroom. The bathroom sink tap was reversed so hot and cold were opposite. Suite we had opened up into a common inn area with a shared kitchen. Thankfully it was quiet but it could have been very noisy if people wanted to gather there. Front desk closes at 6 so no one to access after that until 9 am unless you phone someone. There was a fridge in the room. Flowers in the outdoor planters were fake (but put in dirt). If you want an iron you have to borrow one from the laundromat by the front desk. The windows did not have blinds in the suite area. Would not recommend staying in the suites.
The cabins were really clean. Lots of areas for recreational activities.
The fridge kept making noises. Quite a bit of rules and opportunities for extra charges.
Yet again another great year. Check in is always smooth, pools were clean, cottages were stocked each morning with the necessities. Our only wish was that the hot tub would be more accessible. Currently it is only open from 4pm-9pm. The internet however was excellent this year, much better than any other year.
We absolutely loved staying in the 2-bedroom cottage. Just across the playground area and steps away from both swimming pools. Very family-friendly, the kids instantly found friends of all ages to play with. Cottage was clean, although a bit old, and the AC was definitely a plus. The national park with the beaches is a 5-min drive away. Not our thing, but many amusement parks also at a few minutes’ drive. We loved being able to spend this vacation with our dog, Even though dogs were not allowed on the national park beaches during the summer, there was plenty of space in the domain for the dog to run. Will definitely come again!

We stayed in the motel part, room was so slanted the you had to watch how you walked. Bed was on such a slant you had to put your head at foot of bed to sleep. Walls vibrated so much from what I would assume would be something mechanical. Would not stay there again. Took forever to get hot water. No ice...
We rented 2 cottages for 9 people the first week in August. Location was great, cabins were pretty well equipped. Could have had better knives , we brought our own Keurig as it’s drip coffee maker in cottages. Lots of space for the kids, pools and hot tub and central fire pits were great. Beds were comfortable, nice having AC. I would return.
