The property condition was very poor for the cost. The shower was hazardous due the bath being very slippery. The decking outside was rotting potentially causing an accident. We asked for our money back and left early. Staying in another place for the same price but much better.

Location peaceful beautiful surroundings

Fantastic setting n scenery. Clean and comfortable lodge. Close to Oban. Great base to explore the countryside. Easy checkin and flexible on check.out time. Very accommodating hosts.

Cabin felt little damp and dated. Heating was effective.

Gute und vor allem doch ruhige Lage, funktional gestaltet. Es war alles da, was man für 5 Übernachtungen benötigt.

Gefühlt war die Raumfeuchtigkeit sehr hoch. Die Toilettenspülung bzw. die Zeit bis der Wasserkasten voll war, dauerte ewig.

Séjour agréable,les clés étaient sur le logement ,l'arrivée et le départ se fait en autonomie nous n'avons eu aucun contact avec les gérants.

Stunning location. Very peaceful. Exceptional. Beds were very comfortable. Everything you needed for your stay was there.

It needed maintenance work done Shower head was not secure. It was shower over bath. Seal had gone from around the bath causing the water from shower to leak all over the floor. The property could do with money spent on it to bring it up to respectable standards level.

De locatie

Accommodatie wordt niet onderhouden. Geen deftig kookmaterieel, niet passende wc bril, oud meubilair, krakend houtend terras waarop je bijna moet uitglijden, totaal geen gezellige ruimtes. Tijd om de boel herl grondig te renoveren!

The toilet seat didn't fit and kept nipping, and there wasn't a toilet brush. The toaster only worked on two slots

Schlafzimmer waren gut, gut zu verdunkeln, Matratzen ok. Küche ebenso. Insgesamt angenehm. Insgesamt die Ausstattung gut, eine gute Übernachtungsbasis um Ausflüge in die Umgebung zu machen. Wenn man einen Regentag in der Wohnung verbringt für 5 Erwachsene vielleicht etwas eng und vollgestellt. Es gab zwei WCs und eine gute Spülmaschine.

Das Einzel-WC in unserer Hütte (6) war von außen nicht verschließbar und hatte keine Lüftung. Die Essecke sehr eng, wenn man zusammen bei Tisch sitzt, der Tisch ist eher zu groß.

Wonderful location with fabulous views and surroundings. The property, although maybe a little tired in places, was still very pleasant with pretty much everything that you would need for a few nights away. Well stocked kitchen and enough space for us to spread ourselves out. Loved hearing the night time calls of the local owls!

Water pressure is low (but manageable) and there could have been a bit more shelf space in the bathroom.

De omgeving is heel rustig en mooi. Het park zelf is netjes.

Het huisje zelf, wij hadden Conifer 3 was een grote teleurstelling. Het is sterk verouderd en moet dringend opgefrist worden. Sfeer was ver te zoeken. De keuken was nog heel plakkerig en voelde vies. De uitrusting qua potten en pannen en bestek was minimaal. De badkamer was wel netjes gepoetst maar de douche was echt een ramp. Er kwam bruin water uit, de temperatuur ging van koud naar heet. En uit het koude kraantje van de lavabo kwam geen water. Wil je een gezellig huisje waar je echt tot rust kan komen? Neem dan niet deze lodges. Veel te duur voor wat het is.

De ligging en de view

Sanitair. Dit is wel aan een update toe. Het werkte niet goed en na een fietstocht een bad nemen duurde eindeloos. Dit is echt niet meer van deze tijd. Het was redelijk schoon. Geen gastheer/vrouw gezien of gesproken.

Location was great. Allowed pets.

Accommodation was looking tired. Lifting decking, broken towel rails, uncomfortable beds.

Wunderbar ruhig gelegene Ferienhäuser in gepflegtem Ferienpark in unmittelbarer Umgebung von Oban, traumhafte Umgebung inklusive :-) Saubere Räume und sehr bequeme Betten mit frischer Bettwäsche. Handtücher waren vor Ort. Die Küche hatte alle erforderlichen Geräte, inklusive Spülmaschine.

Die sonstigen Küchenutensilien, wie Töpfe, Pfannen und Besteck könnten beizeiten mal ausgetauscht werden. Der Preis war mir persönlich für eine Woche etwas zu hoch, allerdings war Hauptsaison.

De prachtige locatie. Het ligt echt schitterend. Het restaurant the Barn. Gezellige sfeer en lekker eten.

Het aanzicht van het huisje. De verf bladderde eraf. De douche gaf bijna alleen.koud water. De foto's op booking zijn waarschijnlijk vrij oud. Op zich een prima huisje maar niet voor deze prijs.

Amazing location. It was so nice to be able to sit with a cup of tea and enjoy the view from the windows. Lodge was clean and contained all we needed. My son was very pleased with the second bedroom!

Location was lovely and peacefull .perfect llocation for Town ,Shops and sight to visit . I would return again as we both enjoyed the peace and tranquility .

Lodge 2 didnt get any sun due to the location of lodge facing the wrong way .Decking was delapàtated slippy and dangerous as i had walking stick as i have mobility issues..Cold water was yellow in colour so had to use hot water tap as this was clear..Kettle needs replacing and kitchen wear was sparce ie plates .cutlery ect NO toilet brush in toilet so bought one and left as i felt this was a bathroom neccesaty .

Disabled access in bathroom, it needs grab rails, or better still a walkin shower. Disabled parking, needs to be closer to property.

The location and the location of our lodge was magnificent.

The lodge itself is losing its best form. Especially the bathroom is in a poor state. Getting hot water in the bath/shower is a painful experience as the water is either boiling hot or freezing cold, no in between. The water itself looks brownish, maybe groundwater? I reached out by email, txt message and a message over booking to ask information on how to use the waterheating system in the bath room but didn't get any reply. The kitchen wasn't in a good state, the cooking plates are terrible to work with. The bedrooms are very small, not much room around the bed. Given the amount to pay per night, and given the many lodges on the premises I think a refurbishment and upgrade of the lodge(s) should be affordable. We did not get good value for our money.

Het uitzicht was heel mooi vanuit de lodge

Douche was ronduit slecht. Nauwelijks water en niet te regelen qua temperatuur. Oven in de keuken was heel erg vies. Dit gemeld en werd beloofd dat er waar geregeld werd maar is niet nagekomen door onze gastheer…

Toller Ausblick, sehr ruhig. Sehr nettes Personal.

Nach Orban muss man mit dem Auto fahren, laufen und radfahren ist an der Straße gefährlich. Die Unterkunft ist etwa in die Jahre gekommen.

Lage top, Nähe zu Oban ermöglicht das Erkunden der Gegend um Oban ohne ewige Fahrzeiten. Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick. Nicht an einer Hauptberkehrsstraße und dadurch sehr ruhig und naturnah.

Unterkunft sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Holzterasse, Geländer und Sitzbank marode und morsch (Splitter unvermeidbar), Türen quitschig, Pfannen und Töpfe verbeult, Messer unterirdisch stumpf, Geschirrmenge abgezählt (?), Essbereich sehr eng und dazu Betten durchgelegen und dadurch äußerst unbequem. Das unangenehmste war jedoch der durchgehende penetrante Fäkalien-/Abwassergeruch im Haus (wir waren bei recht gutem Wetter und relativ wenig Wind vor Ort, möglicherweise hat das Wetter die Geruchsbelastung begünstigt). In Summe eben alt. Vermutlich ist über Jahre der Preis für die Unterkunft trotzdem gestiegen und irgendwann stimmt dann halt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr.

Die Nähe zu Oban ist super - man kann in jede Richtung tolle Ausflüge machen.

Die Ausstattung der Hütten ist sehr spartanisch und alles ist recht alt und abgewohnt. Leider war es auch nicht sehr sauber (besonders in der Küche). Auch die Anlage ist sehr ungepflegt. Eine verantwortliche Person haben wir während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts nicht gesehen. Auch die Infos zum Check-In hatten uns im Vorfeld nicht erreicht.Die Häuser stehen zum Teil recht eng zusammen - man hat wenig Privatsphäre und fühlt sich wie auf einem Campingplatz. Wir hatten nur von der Terrasse aus etwas Aussicht, nicht aus der Hütte selbst.

Bed Comfortable Peaceful location

The location is beautiful and peaceful, but unfortunately the accommodation was disappointing. The lodge is very dated pictures on booking.com not taken in last few years and was not as clean as we expected. We even found what appeared to be a snail or slug slime trail on the carpet, which was very off-putting. The outside areas are neglected, with overgrown grounds and paintwork that needs attention. The decking also felt unsafe in places and could do with repair. The laundry facilities were unpleasant to use as they smelled and did not appear to be clean. Our arrival was disappointing. There was no welcome from the hosts—just a key left in the door, which made the check-in feel impersonal. One thing to be aware of is that although the lodges are close to Oban, the road into town is not safe for walking as there is little or no pavement in places. You'll really need a car or bikes to get around comfortably. Overall, the property has potential because of its setting, but it needs significant improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and guest experience before we would consider staying again. Will definitely not return !!!!

La tranquilidad del lugar (no había cabañas ocupadas cerca), amplitud del apartamento y la terracita. Una plaza muy cómoda para el coche.

Echamos en falta elementos de cuidado personal que facilitan la estancia como jabón o secador de pelo, y en cocina, pequeña cantidad de sal, aceite o azúcar. En estancias más básicas las encontramos. Los respiraderos de las ventanas necesitan una limpieza.

Place was cosy, nice big bath towels. Despite listed as freeview only, you could access Netflix etc. Barn pub restaurant very good. Oban great for everything.

Total lack of communication, when contacted, asked if certain things were provided, told no, then found them there anyway! Car space, told was beside lodge, it wasn't. Lodge very compact, small bedrooms. 4 adults would struggle for space. Outside of Lodge filthy, covered in a years worth of cobwebs. Shower pressure poor but head kept slipping down and turning to wall, hopeless. Kitchen tap pressure terrible, worse when using hot, brown tinge to water, wouldn't drink it. Listed on booking.com as 4 stars, we don't think so. One of the (assumed) owners went past a couple of times but didn't communicate. Found information sheets on a board in a hut window. Why can't they be put in a folder for each lodge. Very amateur operation. Not surprised, in 1st week of school holidays most of the lodges were vacant.

Set in pleasant woodlands and with great views of the surrounding hills. The lodge was very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The local wildlife visited regularly a lovely bonus to our visit.

More lodges with disabled facilities would have made the stay even better.

Clean and in stunning location

Location and lodge was great. Nice area to walk the dog too.

The lodge could have been cleaner. The heaters and inside of the main bedroom wardrobe were dirty. The toilet took ages to refill and therefore flush. There was no lock and the bedroom door and the door wouldn't keep closed as the lock had been removed.

Goed bed, heel stil, afgezien van de vele vogels 😉. Klein parkje met cabins/lodges op paar km afstand van Oban. Alles was schoon en werkte prima. Er was een zitje met uitzicht bovenaan het parkje. Leuk voor een ochtendkoffie of een sundowner. Voor avondeten liepen we naar The Barn (10 min).

De lodges zijn iets ouder maar wel netjes gerenoveerd/ onderhouden.

Tranquillity of the area. Close to nearby Oban

Didn't see the staff but didn't need to. Big towels and lots of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped. The barn was a short walk up the road and served excellent food and drink.

A bit more kitchen equipment would have been welcome, e.g. egg cups, more plates, mugs. A reading light in the sitting room (behind the chairs) would have helped. Some parts are looking a bit tired and in need of a refresh. However, none of the above spoiled our stay.

No instructions for anything including tv. No contact with host on arrival. Key was in door., Interior pine cladding has become rather dark and gloomy. Could do with painting a light colour although appreciate this would be a big job! Pub down the road was welcoming but overpriced!

Communication with the staff was appalling. No response to phone calls or emails.

It was clean and quietly located. The bedrooms were a good size and bedding was clean and towels supplied. There was a dishwasher which was great and the shower worked well. The scenery is beautiful all around.

The chalet was comfortable and situated in a quiet and beautiful location.

We found the chalet very pleasant and clean BUT somewhat lacking in certain areas, mainly the kitchen - there was a lack of necessary implements such as a frying pan, wooden spoon, spare kitchen towels and paper tissues, oven gloves, scissors and suchlike. The bedroom was fine and cosy and the living room was very pleasant. We had one issue in the bathroom when it wouldn't flush but this was dealt with quickly and efficiently. However, there was no bathroom mat around the bowl and the floor was cold. Another concern was that we did not know where reception was situated and it eventually turned out that it was unattended the entire week - there was never anybody present! We also feel we have an issue regarding the extra charge for a pet - our dog is a bichon frise and as such does not shed any hair whatsoever, so we consider the extra charge excessive, considering the high cost of the chalet itself. We suggest the price be lowered substantially as we have been to cheaper establishments in the past which were better equipped.

Beautiful location, so peaceful, though surrounded by birdsong. Saw deer a few times too, and very close to the cabin. Cosy and comfy space, and a relatively decent sized fridge! Lovely to have the table on the deck too.

The bed was a bit small, though comfortable enough. The Lodge would benefit from a feather duster for some of the cobwebs. Not appallingly bad, but just in the corners and above the bed. The water heater could do with some insulation as it comes on often to heat up and is a bit noisy.

Parking was limited but we managed, and some minor issues such as Kitchen Sink was leaking in the 6 x Berth Lodge. Bathroom light over the WHB didn't work. Wall mounted clock in the Kitchen area didn't work, but other than these few things - all good

We loved the location and the view! Very nice place for family getaway. Out of busy town centre of Oban but yet close enough! The shower in bathroom was great. Nice layout of rooms and open plan lounge and dining /kitchen area. Host was very responsive. Cabin was clean and cosy.

It would have helped if there was a splace to plug in hair dryer or charge phones in all the bedrooms. And there are no mirrors in bedrooms - made it a bit difficult for everyone to get ready for my daughter's graduation with 1 mirror and plug in dining area. 😅 The water pressure of hot water in Kitchen was also very poor so a bit of a struggle to use hot water there.

Lovely quiet location, very tranquil, couple of miles outside Oban along a fairly long road but easy to find, accommodation was good, bed very comfortable, kitchen was fine and well equipped.

Had one major issue with the bath and sink water, which we told them about and unfortunately couldn’t take a bath but for some reason shower was ok,

Clean and well tended and presented environment. The outside of the cabin is well kept and tidy. The interior of the cabin was clean, tidy, well presented, comfortable and well kept. The facilities were well thought out, clean and comfortable.

A miscommunication between booking.com and the hosts made the start of the stay difficult and distressing however this problem was quickly rectified.

Greg the owner was a great help to us when our car broke down. A very stressful situation was made much easy knowing we had some help to hand. Also the lodges are in a very quiet and beautiful area.

Sehr ruhige Lage in Idyllischer Umgebung, Fotos entsprechen der Realität, 10 min nach Oban und zu entsprechenden Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in verschiedene Richtungen. Die Lodges sind hell und gemütlich eingerichtet. Parkplätze direkt vor der Haustür.

Küchenausstattung für Selbstversorgung ist gerade ausreichend. Die Sauberkeit bei der Übernahme war nicht ganz optimal

Beautiful location, fairly secluded though within easy reach of local sights with a car. Owners left us there contact details in the lodge if we needed any assistance, however everything was perfect for us so we had no need to.

Everything about the place was excellent

Comfortable lodge, good quality appliances, furniture etc. Having stayed on site I would hire a larger lodge. Site was well kept and owners are improving site.

It would have been good to meet the owners on arrival, however when we had a problem they were there immediately. I would have liked an information booklet in the lodge for reference.

A good sized, clean and comfortable cabin for a family of 4 and a dog. The beds were super comfy! The location was convenient for visiting Oban and seeing the sights of the west coast. The laundry was handy too.

Kitchen short of a few essentials- chopping board/ large saucepan. Double bed mattress could do with replacing. A couple of bulbs needing replaced but hosts helpful and arranged to replace

The location of the house is beautiful, far from civilization. Quiet, parking lot big enough, accessible. Accommodation instructions arrived on time. The kitchen had everything you need.

A hairdryer would be nice to have. The Wi-Fi signal was very weak, but this is the case throughout Scotland, even in large cities.

Prachtige ligging, stille omgeving. Vaatwastabletten en afwasmiddel voorhanden.

Houten chalet met kamerbreed tapijt. Kleine badkamer. Sommige lampen werkten niet. Enkele potten in de keuken niet compatibel met het fornuis. Geen wifi. Hosts antwoorden niet of enkel met standaardberichten via de Booking communicatie-app.

Die Lage ist wunderbar, sehr ruhig, schöne Grünanlage, Parkplatz ganz in der Nähe vom Cottage. Im Cottage hatten wir zu Viert 3 Schlafzimmer zur Auswahl. Gute Atmosphäre.

Insgesamt war unser Cottage schon sehr gebraucht, der Teppich roch nach Hund, das Geländer der Veranda war schon recht morsch und die Nägel schauten aus dem Holz raus. Kochtöpfe teilweise unsauber, für eine Familie reicht die Anzahl Besteck grad mal für ein Mal Essen. Und ja, WLAN gab's definitiv nicht. Es gibt neuere Cottages auf dem Gelände, die neuer sind und wahrscheinlich besser in Schuss sind. Also für den Preis von mir nur eine bedingte Empfehlung.

No one to talk to on sight just by phone and when asked who to pay they said don't think it's them , so trying to get hold of someone just now to see who we pay .

Mooi gelegen. Alle benodigdheden aanwezig. Prima bed en lekkere badkamer. Fijne gang bij binnenkomst. Prima keuken en woonkamer. De omgeving is erg mooi en dicht bij de stad Oban en de Pub The Barn.

The view was amazing. The situation of our lodge (right at top of park) was brilliant. Also had all the amenities we needed.

Great view Everything was available including tiny stuff such as toilet paper and clean towels.

There was no washing machine.No dishwasher tablet. The water in the small bathroom doesn’t have heater. Some of The wardrobe was not cleaned very well. The TV channels were not working.

Water was running brown we had to buy bottled water. Smell of mould in 2 of the bedrooms. Expected barbecue as pictured but none. Kitchen tap very shaky.
