Maison très sale. Le lave vaisselle n'était pas vidé et sale et un rayon était cassé. La vaisselle dans les placards étaient sales. Le sol était tout collant, on a dû le laver en arrivant. Le congélateur était inutilisable car plein de givre. En soulevant un coussin d'un canapé, il y avait des déchets et des crottes de rongeurs. On en a averti la propriétaire qui nous a proposé 100€ pour ne pas mettre d'avis négatif!!! Nous avons estimé et demandé plus mais en se concertant on s'est rendu compte qu'il était préférable que les prochains locataires soient mis au courant.

Location was fantastic, host was very pleasant when contacted.

Some of the appliances didn't work the host tried to get them fixed but it was not possible to get all fixed in time for our stay. The host was lovely to talk with and although we understand it was out of their control it was a little inconvenient..

We loved how spacious and open the house was. It was so close to the village, castle and playground. We walked around a lot as we were going to a wedding. The two bathrooms were very helpful for a group of six.

It was a bit musty in the house and the heating was a tad confusing.

Location was excellent, within walking distance to pubs and shops and conveniently close to a playground for the youngsters. Lots of space for family of 6. Reliable amenities (wi-fi, laundry, kitchen etc).

Cleanliness below the surface was a little suspect.

Perfect location!

Perfect house for a family stay, plenty of room and very well equipped. The house is within walking distance of the village & there are some lovely trail walks down by the Abbey. Sheila is a great host & responded very quickly to any queries we had.

A bit of modernising internally would make all the difference but it in no way detracted from our stay.

Lovely spot just outside Cong plenty of parking and great open plan kitchen area,beds were very comfortable and the showers were brilliant walk in.

Great location close to town. Nice size rooms with plenty of space.

Some of the duvet covers were not clean. We washed them and the stains came out which leads us to believe they had not been washed. We occasionally had a problem with getting the hot water to work. The Irish system of having to turn on everything before you use it is new to us, resulting in a couple of our group having cold showers. Not the properties fault but more instructions for us ignorant Americans would be very helpful. This type of electrical system is something we never ran across before our visit to your beautiful country. Another thing that would be very helpful is a place to hang our towels to dry.

Large house with everything that you need for a stay away from home. Ideal location for access to the Lodge at Ashford Castle where we attended a wedding and the Cong Woods where we loved to walk.

Luskins is in an amazing location, if i was ever in the west of Ireland i would 100% use again. It is ideal if you are attending a wedding nearby or going for a little relaxing break.

The showers were inconsistent we couldnt always have a hot shower.

The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. Also very close to town centre. Perfect location. We loved it that much we have booked again for next year.

Everything was great, no complaints

Location next to Ashford Castle and an easy walk into the village. Good food available in several pubs and restaurants. The Spar (also the bus stop for connections to Galway and train station) had delicious French pastries, portable Irish breakfasts (bring your own shopping bags!), fresh fruit, bottled drinks - typical Spar merchandise. We walked to Cong Abbey and the beautiful area surrounding it. The Ireland School of Falconry, located within the Ashford Castle grounds, was a highlight of our trip, as we experienced the Hawk Walk. We took the two-hour Island Cruise from Ashford Castle on Lake Corrib, delightful! Luskin’s was the perfect center for our Cong adventures!

It was hard to find because there was no sign to mark Luskin’s. The wall in front of the property made it hard to spot.

The location was great. We loved that we could walk into town for a drink or bite to eat. We also enjoyed being able to sit outside in our own private garden watching the donkey and mini horse playing.

The house was very clean and spacious.

The property was perfect for what we needed. brilliant location. warm and cosy. all the home comforts!

The conservatory was cold and couldn’t work out the heat for it!

Luskin's had all sorts of supplies to help with our self-catering. The house itself was roomy for the 5 of us, and it was really nice to have 2 separate bathrooms. Had it not been January, we would have enjoyed the very short walk into Cong!

The washing machine had a problem, but since I was attempting to do laundry at an unreasonable hour of the night, I didn't contact Sheila until the next day -- and she was instantly helpful.

Host was very helpful and accomodating. Ideal location for family wedding at Ashford castle lodge. Walking distance from Cong village.

absolutely fabulous! attended a wedding in Ashford lodge, was ideal place to stay for the weekend for both the wedding and enjoying the amenities of cong itself. stayed with the kids and older parents and suited everyone.
