Clean comfortable house, well equipped and decorated with a lovely sea/beach theme. Ideal location for exploring the peninsula.
Great location and very clean, comfortable
Nothing
Clean, lovely location and had all amenities needed.
Shower not very powerful and small towels.
Location
Bed was not that comfortable
What a fabulous weekend, the house was spotless. Plenty of room and the location was perfect. Lovely local bar at the bottom of the road and only a few min drive to Duncannon beach little hidden gem. Would 100% give our stay 5 stars .
Perfect Stay! Lovely Comfortable home away from home!
The host left basic necesities in the kitchen which are quite helpful. There is lawn at the back where our dog able to run around. Beds are comfortable.
Ideal for our dogs
All grand
Great! Clean - very comfortable and a short drive to all amenities
The location was perfect - quiet but ideal for exploring Wexford and Waterford coastline. Very comfortable and well equipped for a family stay.
It was easy to find and the parking was good. It was also close to our clients site.
We couldn't turn the heating on. There were no plugs for any of the sinks. All the saucepans were ruined (scratches in the bottom). There were no dish washer tablets. My bed sheet had a blood stain on it. The sink grating was missing in the upstairs bathroom. The mattresses on the beds were not comfortable.
Lovely little area, with a nice town below
Just could use a washing machine
It is bright and clean. Everything worked as expected. It is close to so many sights and things to do with fabulous places to eat out and enjoy the local culture.
Beautiful modern pet friendly home, ev charger was great such a plus, location is great , relaxed and beautiful scenery we explored lovely beaches with the kids. Beds are very comfortable, house is fully equipped with everything you need . Open fire is a bonus. Back garden is enclosed for your pets which we loved.
Very disappointed to arrive to a freezing cold home with 3 kids I WhatsApp host Helena who was great to reply assured me it was air to water and house would take a while to heat up! This in itself was a huge let down as house should have been pre heated for guest arrival! 7 hours later home was still Baltic to the point kids were wrapped in duvets in sitting room to try keep them warm upstairs beds felt quite cold and damp I was very annoyed re messaged host, transpired someone had tampered with heating and it wasn’t on correct setting Helena did apologise and explained housekeeper had a breavment and house was was not occupied for a few days she offered a dinner as a gesture I refused. We plugged in electric heaters upstairs as rads never came on. Downstairs did heat up eventually but 1st night of 2 night stay was ruined!
Really nice house located on a hill just outside of town Great facilities. Clean
Wifi funcionaba estupendamente
Nice and cosy. Very convenient and near nice beaches and ferry to waterford
House was spotlessly clean and very homely. The house was well equipped with everything we needed.
Nothing really. Tv remotes were a bit complicated with some buttons slow to respond. Just an observation.
Great facilities, very comfortable, clean home. Great instructions and a great location for exploring the local area
Great area to explore. Great size house for a family get away
Fabulous two night stay celebrating my eldest sons birthday. Location is great, lovely pub with beer garden at bottom of the hill. Dog loved the enclosed garden, hse is spotless and lovely sea theme throughout.
Good clean place, pet friendly and with good location - 2 min from ferry towards Waterford. However some unforseen circumstances can occur. Example rattling roof and barking neighbours dog... you may think thats ok...but imagine roof tail banging all night above your head...or dog barking until 2am... The place is superclean and feel like the owner care and has put some effort into it.... there is private parking and the house feel warm and cosy. Its close to everything you can wish for....lighthouse 20 min...new ross 20 min...waterford 25min(taking the ferry)... Honestly good cheap place to stay....
The house was comfortable and welcoming with a lovely deep bath. I liked the enclosed back garden for eating outside and my dog could run around happily. Helena was very helpful. I enjoyed myself very much. Thank you
House was very clean and provided everything. Great location for passage east ferry.. Really comfortable beds with smart tv.. I will be back
Not to much to dislike, homeowner can't do anything about the weather, but you can't let that stop you..
Very comfortable and lovely big backyard for my dog
Beautiful house very clean and well equipped everything we needed, lovely location. Thank you
clean and tidy and well equipped house. the owner was very helpful in unexpected circumstances 1st day (malfunction of water in all neighborhood) so we are thankful and satisfied.
Our 2nd time staying and couldn’t fault it, ultra cosy
2 bedroom house with small garden in residential area. House has all facilities one needs and was clean.
Seems at times used by the owner themselves, renting out in-between. Second bedroom had a stack-bed which was bit awkward for adult
Very nice house. Quiet. Very impressed with the facilities, even the little things provided, sugar, tea bags, etc. We would stay again. Host was very helpful if/when we had a query. Would definitely recommend 👌 it
handy for Wexford, Waterford, Kilkenny
Shower awkward to turn off
Nice comfortable bed, kitchen fully equipped. It was great that I could take my dog as well.
I was looking for a place with a real fireplace and there I only found a fake electric one. It was really disappointing as the photos show a different one which is not correct. Also the place looked a bit dusty and the outdoor furniture was not clean.
Very clean very well equipped kitchen great back garden
Not the most comfortable beds had a sore back after sleeping there. Not the hosts fault but we did say we where bringing a dog and then the neighbour was getting a new fence between the two houses so the dog couldn’t stay out while the men where working. Also not the hosts fault but another neighbour across the way on Sunday morning between 7 and 7:45 was very noisy taking up cobble lock and woke us up.
Everything in order and like it’s described. Good communication with host also.
No bad points at all. Really enjoyed our stay ‘
Ideal location. Central to everything. House itself is ideal for families, my kids loved it.
House was not clean when we entered but the house keeper had a family emergency which is totally understandable. Life happens! Helena responded straight away to us and the house was sorted in no time. So spot on.
Location was peaceful. WiFi excellent.Comfortable beds.
Lack of frying pan, pasta strainer and a few extras not in the kitchen. Some dishes not clean from previous people. Needs to bit of TLC with things coming loose, falling off.
Lovely, clean, spacious house as described. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. Good sized enclosed garden and nice quiet estate. The host was quick to reply to emails, and I would recommend the house as a great location to stay whilst touring the Hook penninsula.
The location was good . 9 minutes to duncannon beach and close to lots of different attractions - dunbrody abbey and maze was a real hit .100% would need a car. The house itself was lovely. Had absolutely everything you could need from appliances to tea and coffee. The photos didn't do it justice- its was more spacious. There's a good sized enclosed back garden with garden furniture. We were able to sit out for our meals. We also had our 2 dogs with us and they had plenty of room to run around outside. We (me, my husband, 12 & 16 yr old sons and my mother) had a really enjoyable relaxing holiday and would definitely stay here again. Have already recommended to family 😊
Was a very homely house. Everything you needed was in house.
Was a difficult walk to Ballyhack village with two small children very steep hills. No fault to property was excellent.
Warm as toast
Poor Bedding... Plastic pillow slips and mattress protectors. Thin pillow per person. Location not what was expected. Thought it would be nearer water. More like housing estate.
Fabulous little house. Cosy. Warm and comfortable....had everything in the apartment you cld need and bonus to have a garden for the dog.....
Nothing really , just you need a car to get down as it's a very steep hill up....
Nice quiet estate.short ferry ride and you're in Waterford City.
Great facilities, very clean , comfy beds self check In & out

Beautiful home, lovingly decorated with a seaside theme. Situated in a fantastic location close to many beautiful walks and amenities. Very pet friendly with a safe, secure back garden for our dogs to run around in. Host is very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to returning again.
More of an observation. The house has only Smart tvs no channels so if like us you don’t subscribe to any online tv channels maybe bring a dvd player. House and location are fabulous so didn’t really bother us as we were out all day.
Pet friendly, ev friendly, close to cool stuff to see and do, clean, bright accommodation.
Beds were too soft
Very comfortable place. clean, everything you need to rest. very helpful owners.
House was modern had everything you need . Very clean great facilities.
Parking in front Quick responses to messages
Smell of dog/animal in one bedroom and heating issues
This was a lovely home from home everything U need is in it no faults lovely and homely the kids loved it too will be going back for sure in the summer
Nothing
Kitchenware wasn't clean. The house itself was ok.
Great little house. It was very well equipped and had everything you could need. Wi-Fi was very good and with the addition of smart tv was great for entertainment. Kitchen very well stocked and also had airfryer. Host was also very responsive.
Beautiful property. Lovely and cosy, clean and everything you could need. Close to fabulous beaches and lovely little pier in local village. 2min drive to passage east ferry, which means Waterford city is only 20-25 min away. We seen loads of dolphins too. Defo be staying again. 1 tip....shop before u go. There is 1 little Centra about 5min away but no big supermarket close by.
It all started when this property tried to swindle me out of 200 euro saying it was for the security deposit and only when I checked her terms and conditions and contacted booking.com to look into it (I had to call a few times) then she backed down and gave me the security code for to access the property so we were late getting in. The owner tried to tell me she did nothing wrong. The dishes and cutlery were dirty and we had to wash them ourselves before using them but there was no hot water so we had to boil the kettle. The shower wasn't working at all and I messaged the property owner who blamed us for doing it. She called me and was aggressive on the phone and her partner told me if I didn't pull up the handle on the pipe then though I'd be stuck but she sent her cleaner over to fix the shower I don't know why but she moved the handle on the pipes and it started working again but not properly because one of us had a shower and nearly got scalded so no one could have a shower because this was not rectified. Oh and when we left the property to go somewhere the property owners tried to enter without notifying us or knocking and nearly gave the one person at the property a heart attack because he thought he was being burgled. They probably watched us leave on their ring camera at the front door. The whole place was dingy and shabby with holes in the carpet and very obvious ware and tear and the owner got defensive when I told her this. The cleaner told me they have been waiting a while to read decorate and that she had not been on top of her game lately due to family circumstances. There were cigarette buts outside on the patio but in the terms and conditions if you bring a dog and it poops and you don't pick it up they will charge 50 euros for the cleaner to pick it up, I don't see the cleaner picking up dog poop if they cigarette buts aren't picked up.
Lovely house, very warm. Everything we needed. We met the lady who manages the property, very friendly. Easy access to lovely local pubs and restaurants. Within easy reach of Waterford by the local ferry.
After a couple of hotels we came into your house which was nice for us and our furry friends!
The bunk bed in the second bedroom was oke but not handy for a family to stay in
From the moment we entered the property we were met with a bright beautiful decorated immaculately clean home . Each room was extremely comfortable and the facilities available in the kitchen were to a very high modern standard.
Nothing everything was above expectations
The house was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Lovely back garden for the dog too.
Very clean and beautiful house. Small ornaments all over the house, so you can feel like home. Nice calm colours.
Sticky floor in the kitchen and strange smell. It was unpleasant. I couldn’t understand why was that because it had been cleaned, maybe it is worth to change cleaning agents. The cups/mugs were impractical/uncomfortable to drink from them. Lack of sponge in the kitchen, as there isn’t any shop nearby worth have a sponge in the kitchen, not everything can be done by dishwasher. Small things that can be looked by owner to give better impression for visitors because there is the reason why people rent a house; one of it is a kitchen and possibility of cooking.
Very clean and well maintained Had all the essentials
We had a lovely stay. The accommodation has everything you need and with a separate toilet perfect for a family. The hosts always responded immediately. It was very quiet. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. We would come again at any time.
Excellent location. Very clean. Kitchen equipped very well. Hot water all the time. Comfortable beds. Brilliant location to take a pet. Didn’t meet the host, but able to communicate by phone which was perfect. Local pub great for a drink. Nice pub/restaurants close by. Really enjoyed out stay and will definitely return.
Nothing
It was great to be able to bring our dogs away and the back garden was walled in!! Home was very cosy and very clean. Enjoyed the ferry crossing to Passage east, it made visiting Waterford very accessible.
Friday night/ Saturday morning had loud neighbours in a house that was vacant all week.
This house is perfect for a couple or small family holiday or weekend away. It's perfectly clean, nautical themed, with everything we needed for our stay. It is very close to the beach, boat to Waterford, shops and food and a short drive to Hook Lighthouse which is stunning! The host is very quick to answer any questions while staying and it really is a lovely place to relax in the evenings on the lovely patio, and breakfast in the mornings when the sun is out! Our family had a wonderful stay, highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Location
The location was good
House is small for families. Smart TV only, no terrestrial TV available. You need to have login for access to apps. Noisey neighbours.
The house was great, almost everything you need for a pleasant stay was there. Located far away from shops, restaurants and points of interests, but that didn't bother us, because we had a car.
The first six days (we stayed ten days) were without Wifi, that was a dissapointment, because for lots of our plans and contacts with others we needed internet. On the seventh day the neighbour could fix it. We were very dissapointed because of this.
Lovely house inside, very clean + comfy beds
Couldn't sit out in Garden due to strong smell of oil+ unfortunately we had no power from 9.30 to 16.45 on our last day stay l am not saying that's the host fault but it was very unfortunate for us no showers,no cup of tea
