I did request a ground floor because of luggage we were put on the first floor as this may not have been available. This was not ideal but not a big issue.

Kitchen area was bigger than I expected and had everything needed for self catering. Careful thought went into the added extras (blankets, towels, complimentary tea/coffee, milk etc). Affordable accommodation. Exceeded my expectations. Friendly hosts with excellent communication. We look forward to coming back next year! Thankyou

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026The staff were lovely, they went over and above for us and made us feel super welcome. While the hotel is older, the price reflects this accordingly and is fair for what it is. I appreciate that it made the trip manageable for us financially and we will absolutely be back again because of this. The location was great too - close to town, to shops, food places and the supermarket and many other businesses and services within the city. Parking was also available which was important for us!
It’s a bit run down, but as mentioned, this was reflected in the price and was fair. It was clean and tidy and that’s what counts!

Only slight whinge was the shower pressure wasn't great and it's getting a little dated however for the price it's a great deal and I would still happily return. It still has everything you need to be comfy.

Voicing I need to keep the noise level down due to a newborn! He voiced he been busy all day and this showed when I came into check in.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026When I checked in the tv was on and the sun was shining through the window onto the double bed. So relaxing! It is winter at the moment and the electric blanket was just right.
So minor, but it was Friday and the car parks were full. I managed to get the last park closest to the stairs. A bit tight but I managed. However, after I went out and came back that night, I scored a more easier park.

No hot chocolate. The bed was hard. There is no extractor fan in the bathroom, so there is a lot of condensation on the windows and in the sleeping area in the morning. It was to cold to leave a window open. Broken draw, and the last occupant had left his stuff under the bed. The guy on reception was rather abrupt on the phone and when checking in. He made me feel like I was being an inconvenience. No laundry facilities, especially for a Motor Inn. The front looked nice. However, it's a tight fit for a suv. Outside was messy with leaf litter, and the front office was supposed to be open but was shut. Value for money? Backpackers would have been better value.
