Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Great facilities, comfy beds, handy kitchen and laundry facilities; everything was tidy and well-cleaned. Having two bathrooms was very helpful for our group (taking part in a sports tournament) to quickly get washed up after a day of play. Nice quiet location made for a pleasant and relaxing evening of recuperation, while still being very close to the sports venue (only ~3 minutes drive). Access on arrival was very straightforward.
WiFi reliability was good if you were in range, but the range was a bit limited. For example, bedrooms in the front of the house (I slept in the 2x single beds room) got no WiFi signal there. Most likely a limitation of the ISP-provided router used; something like a mesh network, a repeater or WiFi APs could do wonders to address this.

Reviewed May 13, 2026The house was so comfortable and clean. We had 5 adults and there was plenty of space to relax. The ensuite in the main bedroom was an additional bonus. Modern facilities and the carpets made the house feel warm and cosy. Washing machine and dryer was handy. Close to town.

There could have been a few more kitchen tea towels and bathroom flannels available (for people staying longer than a couple of days). This in no way detracted from what was a great stay.

No mirror in bedroom 😃 we've noticed at other stays, (especially being all women) a mirror in the bedrooms, or at least one bedroom,is appreciated as it accommodates those that need to put makeup on and blow dry hair whilst others are using showers. No Solar security light near gate , path

The thoughtful layout and inviting atmosphere made it easy to relax after chilly days out. Natural light streamed in during the day, and at night, it was nice and peaceful. The beds were incredibly restful, making it hard to get up in the morning! Every detail felt carefully considered, and the space had a calm, welcoming feel that really stood out.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2024House was very clean. Heaters worked well. Kitchen had good range of clean appliances and implements. Laundry (washer and dryer) worked well. We were grateful for the electric blankets. Plenty of cupboard space with coathangers - it's the little things that count and prevent annoyances. Thank you. Instructions and information were clear and well-explained. Location is great. Host maintained contact and responded promptly when required.
The ventilation in the ensuite bathroom is not great. Not sure what you can do about that. No potato masher - but you can't have everything! How many families cook mashed potatoes when on a break?(!)
