Die Lage ist ein Traum und das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Flåm ist fußläufig in ca. 25 Minuten über einen schönen Weg zu erreichen. Alles ist tippitoppi 👍. Danke an die Gastgeber.

Impeccably clean. Equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable. As we did not have a car, we initially thought that the 30 minute walk to town would be a negative element. It was really an asset. The house is quiet and at a distance from the tourist packed village of Flam, the gigantic cruise ship etc. The house backs on the river and the walk to the village is along a narrow paved road and pleasant. This is a 5 star choice.

La maison est extrêmement agréable et chaleureuse. Tous les espaces intérieurs étaient d'une belle taille, et très pratiques. Nous avons apprécié l'éloignement du logement par rapport au centre touristique de Flam.

Everything was great. The house is well equipped, comfortably furnished and spacious. It has nice garden and it’s located in the quiet area, close to the main road.

Absolutely nothing … we loved everything

Een heel gezellig huis, toffe locatie met mooi wandelpad tot Flam. De Flamsbana die naast het huis ligt stoort absoluut niet qua geluid.

Tout était parfait, avec un geste d'accueil. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit geste d'accueil. Le paysage magnifique, la bonne tranquillité, une bonne literie, un très bon équipement. Vraiment merci a vous . Bravo !

Nos gustó todo. La cabaña súper chula, típica con su color rojo y blanco preciosa, al lado del Río en un entorno agradable y muy cerca de Flåm. Se necesita coche pero cuenta con parking gratuito. La cabaña es súper espaciosa, nosotros éramos 3 personas pero tenía capacidad para 6 personas. Súper calentita cuando llegamos y durante toda la estancia. Contaba con todas las comodidades. Muy agradable y cómoda. Una maravilla de alojamiento.

Ein schönes niedliches Haus mit allem, was man braucht und einem herrlichem Ausblick. Es ist auch nicht zu klein für 6 Personen, wie ich vorher gedacht habe. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt für uns alle. Fußweg nach Flåm ca 30min. Es gibt aber auch eine Bahnstation Lunden.

The house had everything you need and we liked the location a bit outside of the village

Ubicación y limpieza. La calefacción funciona bien y aunque las instalaciones funcionan perfectamente, podían tenr un aspecto más moderno.

Las camas podían ser más cómodas, y las habitaciones no son grandes al menos algunas que dificultan tener las maletas y los armarios y la carpintería es antigua.

Very nice place. Plenty of room. Beautiful location (scenic). Full amenities (although it has a washer, there is no dryer). Owner is very quick to respond to questions.

La casa en general es muy acogedora y aunque esta cerca de la vía del tren, no hay trenes por la noche y se descansa muy bien, la cama es muy confortable, y la verdad no le falta un detalle en la cocina ni en el baño. Pusimos lavadoras y todo fenomenal. Tambien cocinamos un poco y genial. Esta a 25 minutos de flam, y si no llevas coche debes preverlo. Lo suyo es disponer de al menos una bicicleta. Estas se pueden alquilar en Flam pero si es por muchos dias resulta caro. A cinco minutos hay una parada de tren, Lunden Stasjon, pero no para si no alzas la mano y avisas. El dia que llegamos desde Myrdal en el tren Flamsbana, como no lo sabíamos no avisamos al revisor y no paro en Lunden por lo que llegamos hasta Flam y tuvimos que hacer el recorrido de vuelta a la casa a pie con las mochilas después de una larga jornada de viaje. Para comprar los tickets del tren debes descargar la aplicación VY. Con esta aplicación es muy fácil comprar los tickets y necesario, pues el revisor al montarte te lo pedirá. La estacion de Lunden no tiene para comprar los tickets

Ruhige Lage am Rand von Flam. Der Ort ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Perfekte und super vollständige Ausstattung des Hauses. Da bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber.

Wonderful house with plenty of bedrooms for my family to stay comfortably. Washing machine and drying racks were great to have, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. It's a short walk to Brakkenfosse waterfall hike, the fishing piers, and the old Flam church and downtown.

I did not figure out the heat pump control to cool the house at night but that's on me. The 1-mile walk was flat and safe, but we had unusual 40-mph winds in our face during the walk. Everyone enjoyed the house and sound of the rushing river near by the house.

Good location, enjoyed being close to the river. House was full fitted with all necessary items for stay and use. Wifi was appreciated. Given it's location away from the city centre, If it had a couple of bikes on property for usage, that might have been a nice plus.

Bathroom drainage was a little slow in the shower at times. Not a deal-breaker, but definitely made me wonder if there was a choke somewhere up ahead.

It was located on a dream location, waterstream on backyard, water falls on a backdrop, breathtaking views allover! All good facilities, clean place. Best Stay in our entire Scandinavia Trip!

Nearest Train station is central.station 2.2Kms, nearby Lundeon Train station is nonfunctional!

The property is located amidst nature and has breathtaking views, which made the stay pleasant. The tip about getting down at Lunden station from the owners was very helpful. We loved our walks to Flåm and our hikes to the various waterfalls starting right from the doorstep.

There is room for improvement for kitchen equipment.

30 minute walk from Flam centre, although with the view that's not really a problem.

It is a beautiful home near a river but it's 2kms distance from main area, but as we had car it was not problems. Well kept home with all amenities and beautiful surroundings. Thx for a beautiful stay. Yes as a family we enjoyed the stay.

This is a cozy home located just beside a river. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is very well appointed with the necessary appliances and also all the pots, plates, forks, spoons etc that you could possibly need. Very convenient for cooking your own meals or breakfast. The living room and dining room were sufficient for our group of 6 persons. The home was very clean when we checked-in. Hosts were responsive when we had questions. There is a heat pump heater in the living rooms so you can get heating or cooling in summer or winter.

Everything was as described. No surprises

This was a wonderful holiday home. Super comfortable and cozy in a fantastic location. The garden was well kept and a lovely place for the children to play (there are even some outdoor toys) - the children really enjoyed waving at the passing trains. The kitchen was really well equipped with a few pantry items stocked (salt, pepper a few herbs, ketchup etc) We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!

Distance to Flam station

This is a beautiful old red cottage just outside the township of Flam. It retains the charm of an old cottage but has been nicely renovated. It has a well-equipped kitchen, lots of space, and could easily accommodate a family. The beds are comfortable and the house is warm.

Amazing views all around and comfortable house, now I want to live here permanently! You need around 25-30 minutes to walk to the center of Flåm from here, but the walk itself is worth it every time.

Lovely view! Location was a 20min beautiful walk into the town center at Flam . We found getting on/off at Lunden station very convenient since it’s just a 5 min walk from the property. The property itself was extremely clean with just the right amenities. WiFi was fast.

The location was amazing, so close to the river and waterfalls, great walks and an easy drive into town. Even though its close to the train line it does not run at night or early in the morning so is not intrusive at all.

The main bedroom is quite so we had our cases outside the room.

We loved our stay at Steinsholen Home located just outside Flam. It was nice being within walking distance of town but enough away that it was relaxing. The home has four bedrooms and it was nice that our kids had their own rooms and space. There is a yard that our boys enjoyed playing soccer in with the ball and goal that were at the house. We loved having a comfortable place to come back to every night after busy days of activities. Can't wait to visit again!

The view is stunning! The location is perfect for walking into town. The home is neat, clean and cozy. The outdoor eating area was an unexpected pleasure.

We had an amazing stay here, beautiful location with Flam station/harbour only few minutes drive away with free parking. Flamsbana train passes front of house which was lovely to see, it did not disturb us at all. Property was warm and welcoming with all the facilities you would need. It was nice to have the peaceful rural location with mountain views but not be too far away from Flam. I would definitely recommend !

Perfect location and ultra kind owners :) we had no issues during our check-in, heating was perfect, and all was clean and tidy. We felt like home, and you can feel the kindness in all the spaces.

The house is actually a kind of mobile-home. The bedroom with double-bed is very tiny. The house is situated just neearby the road and the railway, but fortunately these are not too busy and noisy.
