Noisy party down the road but that wasn't owners fault.

No complaints. Maybe a couple more comfortable chairs would be good. Quite expensive but I guess Martinborough is a desirable location.

We liked the history of the house and enjoyed watching a movie with our family that they had not seen before from the vast collection

They could have another comfy couch in the lounge room and need to service the bikes as one had a puncture

Walkable to village, warm, family friendly, spacious, clean. We had a wonderful time here. Even with dreadful holiday weather. We all loved relaxing inside and admiring the extensive DVD collection!

It may have been my imagination or an echo from neighbouring house but I kept hearing footsteps in night! I’m sure there was a reason unless it was the ghosts of vicars past!

It was very clean & had everything we needed. The weather was terrible but we were cosy. The roads out of Martinborough were closed the next day & the owner was very helpful in assisting us to sort our options

Maybe a bigger couch or easy chair but that's being picky.

A beautiful historical villa close to the township, with a nice lawn and outside area.

Flannels would be great, and the front door knob needs fixing and one of the spare beds is on a slope so not very comfortable.

Great place to stay close to town, loved being able to hop on the bikes and bike around.

The singe beds were too soft for me.

Absolutely loved this house. We were two couples who came here to do some vineyard touring. The house comes with bicycles which was great. The kitchen is well stocked and we made a lovely dinner. The rooms are well sized and the decor is very cozy. The owners left Christmas gifts under the tree with one for each booking. A lovely personal touch! We picked this as a cheaper option and we're pleasently surprised.

Central location with easy walkability to centre of town. Quaint historic cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. The DVD collection was a huge hit with the kids. Hosts had excellent communication.

Unfortunately it was a very cold night and the heater in the lounge wouldn’t stay on. Consequently it wasn’t conducive to sitting in lounge watching tv.

Property was in ideal location and had everything you needed- care and attention to the little things you need for your stay was evident from the hosts.

Cosy little place, good location. Although the main heater wasn't working correctly, the owner called me to discuss it. Unfortunately it still didn't get fixed. Fortunately there were a few other heaters.

The main heater didn't work, there were ants, and there was no hot chocolate (looked like it was mean to be stocked - not a big deal)

Nothing really, only that the bathroom is now new so pictures show a bath where there isn’t one now (just for those with Kids). But was really nice and a big shower!

This was such a lovely little cottage, I felt sad we were only there for one night. Cottage had everything we needed and the hosts were amazing to deal with. Location was great for us, and the bikes were a bonus to take ourselves into the township. Would highly recommend.

Loved the property with its large eclectic DVD collection, walking distance to the pubs, restaurants and supermarket, but nice that is far away enough from the noise. Very beautiful with all the comforts of home and secluded outdoor area for eating outside - definitely book again

House had everything we needed. Toddler loved running around the back garden. Will definitely be back again.

Totally charming, gorgeous cottage in Martinborough. Lots of generous additions , like free bikes and a huge collection of DVDs to watch . Lots of supplies and thoughtful things you might need dotted about the place. Couldn't fault this place....Excellent value for money ....wished we'd had longer there Could have stayed forever!!

This is an absolutely wonderful place!!..only thing the lawns needed a wee mow ( sorry!)

Lovely property, with great communication from the host. Easy to locate, keys in lockbox made our arrival flexible. The property is well kept, with two good sized bedrooms. It was clean and tidy, with useful amenities (tea, milk, coffee) and a wonderful outdoor space. Amazing DVD collection, so we even had the chance to watch an old classic. Location is also very convenient. Would definitely recommend!

Sofa only take 2-3 people when watching a movie, although there are additional chairs in the living area. Other than that, fantastic
