Reviewed Mar 17, 2026The house was very clean and modern. We loved being on a rear section so the area was private and very quiet. Great community pool. Awesome spot for a weekend getaway. We'll definitely be back.
It takes all day for the house to warm up even in March. But that is not something that the owners can do anything about. There is a heatpump if needed.

Reviewed Oct 12, 2025We really enjoyed our stay at the Wine Country Bach. Our hosts were friendly and very responsive to our messages. We loved the locations as it felt slightly out of town but close enough for a quick walk to the shops, if we needed anything. We loved the tennis courts and the host supplied balls and rackets. We played everyday. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need and some extras, including MORE than enough coffee pods for the coffee machine.
We were a bit nervous about the parking because of previous reviews. Although the driveway was a bit tight, it wasn't impossible to maneuver our SUV.

Trying to back out of the driveway between the hedges with the pole in the tricky corner was challenging in a longer car. Well equipt kitchen but couldn't find a spatula or tongs?

Lights shades above the kitchen bench need cleaning and the shower room ceiling, walls and baseboards could do with a clean. A little pricey. Surrounded by neighbour's you could easily hear.

Reviewed Dec 14, 2024Good sized bedrooms, well equipped kitchen with freezer, warm pool (we couldn't find it initially as it is hidden behind hedging but asked someone we met on the road so went on the last day - it was surprisingly warm at 8am!). A short drive to the local supermarket to get supplies (tea is supplied but you will need to bring milk). Comfy beds. Lots of lovely wineries in the area.
