Stove filters, stove top, and oven all dirty and greasy. Range hood lights not working. Kitchen cupboards dirty. Dishwasher not working adequately so dishes come out dirty. Dishes in cupboard grimy as well. Mattress in ensuite adjacent bedroom sloping at sides. Feel like you may roll off the bed. Slept poorly due to this.

Very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

For us, the mattress in front main bedroom was too soft, with sloping sides.

Loved the location - close to the square. The house and the bedrooms spacious. The basics in the kitchen provided (milk, tea, coffee, salt, pepper).

The beds were a bit too soft for some of us and the pillows were a bit flat. Could have done with a few pillows of different combinations (firm, soft, etc). The dishwasher did not work well - had to handwash the dishes after a cycle but the owners tell me that they are replacing the appliances.

Great location, spacious bedrooms and comfy beds. Covered deck out the back with doors table and seating, was lovely place to sit and relax. Kitchen had everything you needed. Host was lovely and we felt relaxed and welcomed, and that nothing was a problem if we needed to make contact. Great value for money. Thank you!

The cottage was so close to town and exceeded our expectations. It was such good value for money. We loved the fact that there was a dishwasher, which was so convenient. The cottage had all the amenities we needed. The host met up with us after check in to provide us with a booster seat for the babies.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Seeing as it was quite hot during our stay a portable fan might have come in handy for the rooms, but it didn’t deter us from having a nice stay and a good nights sleep.

The cottage was very welcoming, beautifully presented, the beds were comfy .. and kitchen was great...amazing showers too , will definitely book there again

Great communication with the owner regarding access to the property. Well located with a 10-12 minute walk into the town centre. Loved the indoor-outdoor flow of the house and enjoyed breakfast on the deck both mornings plus a bbq dinner one evening. Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses, utensils, serving dishes etc. 3 very comfy queen beds for the 6 of us with plenty of pillows and blankets. We had washing to do and the washing machine wouldn't fill with water - contacted the owner and she suggested other options including offering to do washing at her own house or using the new laundromat in town. She has since advised they have decided to purchase a new washing machine so that shouldn't be an issue again.

Can't fault our stay at this lovely property.

Bedrooms were lovely with really comfortable and warm beds. Kitchen/living area was spacious and could be warmed independently of the house. Very cosy!

Lounge area could have done with more detail to furnishings. It had potential to be a really stylish sitting room space. Also dishwasher had not been emptied.

The location is superb - easy walking distance to the main square and very quiet. Off leash dog park at the end of the road. Secure fencing for pets. Amazing water pressure in the showers. A very well-appointed kitchen - plenty of crockery, cutlery, utensils, and glassware. Bonus condiments (salt & pepper etc) in the pantry. And the provision of milk and a bottle of wine on arrival was a lovely touch. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The cottage while being a character villa felt warm and well insulated. Will stay again when I'm in Martinborough.

Great property - 3 large bedrooms - 1 with Ensuite. Suited group of couples very well. Lovely character villa. Contacted us before we arrived to make sure on arrival time and had turned the heat pump on and laid the fire with plenty of wood. Being older house and very cold night, rooms were a little cold - but had great duvets on the beds. Well set up - nice deck and good kitchen and lounge facilities

Breakfast provided was muesli and tinned fruit. Would have been nice to have had some toast but shops nearby.

Lovely linen and little touches like the heatpump being on for us on arrival, plus wine and chocolate . Bluetooth speaker also great. 10 minute walk to square. Great communication.

We were very happy with all aspects . The only thing is we couldn't work out how to stream Netflix etc, but that may be more about us than the facilities!

Beautiful villa just ten mins walk to the centre of the village. Warm & cozy with everything you need. Lovely outdoor area & lawn for the dog to run around also.

It was perfect for us

A really charming NZ villa. Polished wood floors, wood burning stove, easy walk into the delightful little town. The owners were really helpful and pleasant. The house has lots of excellent books in it. A real gem.
