Quaint small cottage that had everything we needed as a family of three. Hosts were contactable whenever we needed.
Received nasty message following our departure trying to extort more money I was there with my sister and toddler Place was clean leaving bins were full
Do not stay here
Great location, clean, comfortable and cosy
No television. Only Netflix linked to the tele. Whilst I don’t want to spend my holiday watching TV it’s nice to be able to catch up with the news in the morning.
It was a lovely quiet cottage and very comfortable. Close to the centre of town near the Cathedral.
Cozy and location
Very close to the cathedral and lower part of town
The bedrooms being upstairs while the bathroom was downstairs. Steep stairs.
Location and historic terrace. Great water views and very comfortable and everything you need. Excellent kitchen and excellent heating.
Stairs were a bit steep but part of the character of the house so fine for us.
Fabulous property with awesome view of the harbour, parking right outside the door, great location! Hosts were very responsive and we had a fantastic stay 🥰
Adorable, cute and well appointed ! This is a gem, location was excellent and parking directly in front of the house.one of our favorites and a great value for an ocean view home.
Nothing to report
Great location and facilities! Tania was easy to work with and very quick to respond to questions or concerns.
The person next door had a refrigerated truck that ran it's compressor during the night. It was very loud and we were unable to sleep with the windows open like we normally like to do. Other than that, the place was great!
Excellent location, nice harbour view. Very cosy, well decorated cottage.
The addition of a dishwasher would be good.
Definitely the location and views.
Loved our stay and the location was amazing.
The single bed was not comfortable as it was was very lumpy and the king bed was very hard. Apart from that it was an amazing place to stay
Beautiful quaint little cottage close to all amenities. Really cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend.
Nothing
Great location.. really beautiful quaint cottage .
Very easy access, beautiful, cosy cottage. A few bit was there on arrival, tea, coffee.
Very pretty and compact yet had ever you could possibly need
Didn’t realize the steep hills around to get to downtown and city. Not bad just not expected
Excellent location.
Pillows were much too soft for me, maybe provide a couple of harder pillows to accomodate for all tastes.
We liked the kitchen that we got to cook our meals in, had appropriate utensils and things. The location was perfect if you don't have trouble walking. It was close to a small convenient store for food/groceries. It was close to everything in town. My mom had a hard time with the extreme incline of the hills to get to the location of this cottage, but I loved it. Great exercise. You could see the sea but only from the top floor bedroom window, and only over the roofs of the buildings in front.
We arrived after dark so it was very difficult to find the cottage, even for locals who were helping us. The street was not well-lit and we could not see the street sign that was on the wall. If we were told to look for a "BLUE" cottage we probably would have found it sooner. It took a while to figure out how to use the washer/dryer combo which the dryer did not work so we had to hang out our clothes on the provided clothes rack. US residents not use to hanging their clothes out to dry. : ) My 75 year old mother slept downstairs due to the bedrooms being upstairs. The couch was so small and not comfortable for her.
To be honest, it was a wonderful stay for us. The small cottage with all necessary facilities and especially the host is so nice and kind. Also, the location is amazing and which is close to the Cobh cathedral. Moreover, not so far from cork town and near to Fota wildlife Park.
It would be an additional bonus if you can provide a small dishwasher.
they were in lock box outside, heard from no one and met no one during our stay, Asked for second key - this was declined. We did not call host not were we offered a refund as stated...they are mixing me up with someone else..we did not make any cotact other than ask for second from cleaner va whatsapp message which was declined.
The location was good - high incline as is most of Cobh - the cottage would need a thorough deep clean of presses, drawers, corckery, and a good dusting down throughout, i was amazed at the dust on selves, pictures, etc, All presses were full of stuff - stored away. Did not use drawers in bedrooms, there was a receipt from October 2023 in the top drawer in main bedroom, not cleaned out for a while......The main concern we had was the noise from a cottage 2 doors down who run an extension lead from the house to an outside refrigerated white van - this was on constantly running while we were there, and it was impossible to sleep of leave window open. I have pictures - made enquirers and was told that is was there all the time, and any efforts to stop or remove the noise was impossible, I was asked to report it in my review, this would put alot of people off staying.
Perfect little spot.

Very comfortable on a cold windy day with all the things you need to feel at home.
The walk up the hill was a bit challenging with heavy backpacks - and we’re not used to having the bathroom on a different level.
A great location and a beautiful cottage. What a view. And the decoration of the house and the modernization of it are very good. It’s a beautiful house in a wonderful location.
The pillows were not very comfortable. One is too flat. Two are too high. The property could also do with some air fresheners or something. It has that old smell in it and if there were some timed air fresheners it would be perfect. Also warning to people about Cobh itself and the hills. If you’re older or have mobility issues it’s up a bit of a hill. But Cobh is all hills. You could drive up and down from the town but the hill although it’s like 500 meters to the Titanic experience it is a workout getting back.
Lovely old cottage in historic area. Large bedroom. Great shower Parking outside the door. Washing machine. Netflix
Broken tap and plug in bathroom basin.
Beautiful little house, perfectly roomy for the two of us, very well located but quiet and felt safe for us and our hire car. Loved the view from the bedroom window and that we could self-cater.
The locaton was great.
The toilet was downstairs from the bedrooms.
The cottage was lovely, Location was good, Free on street parking.
Only thing I would have liked was some Milk in the fridge.
Great location for exploring Cobh. Within walking distance from most of the Sights.
Stunning cottage in a gorgeous location. Had all the needed amenities, was clean, and easy to get in and out. Hosts communication was clear and friendly. We had a lovely stay!
A perfect little cottage with everything you could need for a short or long stay. Great location beside the Cathedral with shops and great bars at the end of the street. A casual 5 minute walk down the hill brings you to the harbour. We would definitely recommend Sea View Cottage and will book again if we are in Cobh.
Great location, stunning cottage with great view.
Great location and was very handy to Cork City via rail and car.
Bed wasn't very comfortable but room had a great view.
Fabulous home and great location
The single bed mattress may be ready for replacement perhaps
We really loved this property. Such a quirky design. Loads of room and had every amenity that we needed. Loads of spare towels and bedsheets provided. Heat timer heats up the property quickly if needed. Great location. Free parking right outside the front door. Would highly recommended if staying in Cobh.
The cottage was very clean and decorated well. The beds were lovely and comfy.
Beautiful view from the upstairs window.
It was very clean and great location. The kitchen was equipped with all necessary items.
The cottage is perfect in an ideal location and it's very comfortable
Could have been a bit cleaner ,like the kitchen presses and the window sills just some dust that's been there a while
wonderful location with views from upstairs over the bay.Walking distance to everything in Cobh.
The TV which only had Netflix which did not work
We where 2 male freinds on a road trip for ten days visited cohb before never stayed cottage was perfect plan to brinĝ girlfreind for a week next year best part of trip
Our stay not lonĝ enough our problem not yours
Lovely, quaint cottage that is walking distance to the town center. Comfortable and clean.
Beautiful home, pictures do not do it justice. Perfect location. Couldn't be happier with our stay will defo be recommending to friends and family. Thank you
Location was great! Nice view of the water and close to the beautiful church
Beds could have been more comfortable, but they were fine for a night.
Was a lovely cottage, very cosy and well equipped. Single bed where slept was a bit worn and bouncy but my friend stayed in the double and it was very comfortable. My friend has some physical disabilities so he struggled walking down the steep hill to the town and home again but otherwise the property more than met expectations. Hosts very very helpful, even though we erroneously overstayed our departure time
Per above
The master bedroom bed is one of the best beds I have ever slept on -- this is not an overstatement. Beautiful view from the master bedroom window. Wifi was excellent! Tania and Mark were very responsive
It is a peaceful location. Quiet at night
The place makes you feel like a native. Irish cottage style. All furnishings and furniture adds to the romantic feeling. The colors chosen throughout are so relaxing
Being a senior citizen the bedroom upstairs and bathroom downstairs was a bit of a bummer. The way to the cottage is a steep incline. P
Great location, short walk to the main stroll along the water. Nice and clean with comfy bed and duvet. Place was all setup with heat on to keep out the March chill.
Nothing.
Location was excellent. The property is a little quirky but that just added to its charm.
Perfect location. Loved waking up to see the sea first thing. Walking distance to the pier, cathedral and other tourist attractions. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. A lovely, clean and cosy little house.
I loved how cozy, clean and comfortable the house was. The view was beautiful and the location was close to the amazing cathedral, takeaways and pubs, and a short walk to the harbour and the centre of town. The kitchen had all the necessities and the bed was so comfortable.
A bathroom upstairs would have been nice but it wasn't a great inconvenience considering how lovely the house was.
The cottage was fantastic, super clean, comfortable and warm. Parking just outside and the communication with Tania and Marc was excellent
The property was very clean, cozy and had everything you needed in it! The location was excellent, free parking outside was great. Overall we were very happy with our stay and it was all very smooth.
Only comment i would make is the shower is a bit slippery, i would think a bath matt or even a wall holder would be perfect!
Everything about the place was brilliant, would highly recommend this cottage, located in the centre of Cobh town, close to all the amenities . Ideal for two or three people.
Perfect place to stay.
Just a thought... most places we have stayed in have a small container of milk in the fridge so you can have a cuppa on arrival. First time i have encountered where there wasnt one. Not a big problem tho and it certainly didnt ruin our stay at all.
Really cosy home from home and clean
Quaint cottage. Good facilities. Great location
The cottage was lovely and comfortable and well fitted out. The cottage had a homely fell and we had a wonderful stay in Cobh, the cottage was very close to all the attractions of Cobh.
No negatives
It was stylish and clean with kitchen facilities.
The small room with bunks
There is a STUNNING cathedral right before the turn in to the neighborhood. Beautiful little colorful cottages, cute neighborhood. Gorgeous views. Bathroom is large and updated. Adorable little courtyard out back. Just all around lovely place to stay.
