20 to 30 concrete steps ,without railing, from the street. Unkempt condition of property and the miniature sized bathroom.

Staff, cleanliness. Nice food options on street level. Quiet.

The multiple syeep flights of stairs never mentioned! Only provided 1 small roll of toiletpaper. Very low beds. Could not sit in patio due to cat urine smell.

Trapporna upp. Mycket slitna och delvis trasiga möbler. Mycket stökig och omysig uteplats. Stället hade kunnat bli mycket bättre om lite omsorg lagts ner på inredning och uteplats.

Jessica checked us in and was available each day and was very friendly and helpful. There was ground coffee, tea and some condiments which is very much appreciated. Situated near to a supermarket, butcher, café, bar, station and a short walk from the river. I really liked this small, quirky apartment but it won't be to everyone's taste. It's very rustic with lots of stone (in bathroom and kitchen). The air con worked great. Good-sized communal outdoor area.

Steps - but that's just how it is along the Douro River. The beds in the 2nd bedroom were really hard. The living area would be a bit small for 4 people.

Appartement is sterk verouderd en slecht onderhouden. Sleutels op de deur bij aankomst? Ramen die niet goed sluiten. Er is al jaren niet meer in geinvesteerd; niet van deze tijd, in tegenstelling tot de prijs. De ontvangst door beheerder was hartelijk.

Très bon accueil. Le logement est calme, en proximité du centre et des différentes activités. Bon rapport qualité prix pour la région.

Les ustensiles de cuisine sont assez limités, il est préférable de prévoir manger à l'extérieur (de nombreuses possibilités accessibles à pied)

Jessica was great. It was a cute little place.

The location is perfect. Jessica was very helpful once we arrived. Clean space. Full kitchen, coffee in the morning, refrigerator, dinning room. All we needed.

There are lots of stairs to go to the apartment. Not a big deal, but be aware if you have lots of luggage.

The location is perfect for a night or even a couple nights in Pinhão. It's a 5 minutes walk from the station. The communication was great. Rita allows to leave bags before and after the check in/out which was priceless. Jessica the housemaid was friendly and kind. The accommodation itself is simple and somewhat rustic, but has everything what you need for a good stay - good shower, well equipped kitchen, good bed. Very clean! There are some steps to get to the property, so keep this in mind if the mobility is an issue. Overall it was a good stay.

La ubicación y la atención ya que llegamos algo mas tarde de lo esperado y no hubo problema

El sitio en su conjunto, llamarlo hippie o pintoresco es un eufemismo, es mas bien cutre, iluminación muy pobre, lo cierto es que no dormimos nada cómodos y estábamos deseando irnos. Espero que tengan otros apartamentos y los comentarios positivos sean debido a esos otros sino sinceramente no lo entiendo.

Casa Botelho Elias is a perfect option for your stay in Pinhão. It is located in the city center, near all shops and facilities. The flat is cosy and well furnished, with a well equipped kitchen. The added value is its owner, Rita, and her colleague Jessica. They are very welcoming and friendly and make you feel home. You can count on them for any thing you need. They made my stay.

El baño minúsculo, por fuera parecía una chabola, hay que dar el dinero en efectivo y procurad llevarlo justo.

A localização é fantástica, próximo de tudo (rio, cafés , restaurantes ,supermercado, estação) A nossa hostess Jéssica foi mto simpática e sempre disponível. Quarto charmoso, confortável, limpo, com tudo o que é necessário para uma boa estadia . Sossegado, sem barulhos externos. Ficamos 2 noites , tivemos a oportunidade de usufruir do rio num maravilhoso passeio de cayaque a dois. Nota 10 para onde alugamos o kayake pois os funcionários deram umas boas dicas , apesar de não sermos experts indicaram onde deveríamos navegar em segurança e sem grande movimento marítimo. Hot water was a bit finicky but if you shut it off and turn it back on it’s fine. Beds may be a bit hard for some people but for me they were fine.

Un peu trop cher pour ce logement qui est vieillissant Les escaliers pour accéder au logement sont très compliqués et très haut. Les 3 fenêtres non verrouillées sans information attention de bien vérifier car accessible a tous.

Good location in the city center. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Spacious apartment with a very efficient AC unit. The Wi-Fi is great.

The unit is two long flights of outdoor stairs up which we didn’t know. Most of the units were one level up but there was no sign directing us through and up the final flight. Fortunately someone was there looking for us before we got too frustrated.

The unit is quite lovely, if a bit spartan. Nice outdoor and indoor space. The bathroom was functional but possibly the smallest we had ever seen. Some instructions on using the shower would have helped.

Proximité d'une épicerie à 100m et gare Pinhao à 500m. Une terrasse extérieure parfaite pour prendre petit déjeuner.Proximite du Douro pour balade en bateau, en train et voiture. Parking facile dans la rue.

Rien, sauf une montée escalier un peu raide pour accéder au logement, mais cela est Bon pour les mollets..

L'emplacement est ideal pour visiter la région. Jessica est très agréable et le ménage est parfait. L'extérieur est un vrai atout.

Le canapé est vraiment usé et pas confortable. Le débit de la douche est tres faible

קבוצת חברים בטיול שכרנו 3 דירות. הדירה הראשונה הייתה בגובה של 70 מדרגות בטון עלובות מעל מפלס הכביש. לדירות הנוספות יש עוד כ- 20 מדרגות חיצוניות. הדירות מתאימות בקושי רב לטיול מוצ'ילרוס. אלמלא היה לנו קרע בצמיג באחד הרכבים ממש לפני הכניסה לדירות, שדרש החלפת הרכב, לא היינו נשארים במקום והיינו מחפשים מקום אחר.

Location was excellent as well as the host. The accommodation was perfect for us.

All was great

Large apartment in town with a kitchen. You go up a few steps to get there but it's not too bad. There were 3 different bedrooms. We were a couple but this place would be great for a family (cribs provided). It was nice to have a kitchen and do some cooking for ourselves. The housekeeper, Jessica, was so very nice we ran into her multiple times when we were in town and she was very helpful in resolving a circuit breaker issue in our unit. There was a nice outdoor patio space, but we were so busy doing other things in and around Pinhao we sadly didn't get use it much.

Nothing to complain about. Was a little cold, but once we turned on the heating unit it was as warm as we could have wanted.

We liked the location because it was close to the train station. The patio was also really nice, and Rita, the owner, was responsive and friendly.

The bed was broken, and we were not informed about it beforehand. The mattress was very hard, and the place was unfortunately old and smelled bad, so it was overpriced.

Jessica war jederzeit ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Der Freisitz war super und das Haus gut gelegen für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.

Ligging was prima en we hadden een groot gezamenlijk terras meteen buiten de deur.

Clean and comfortable. We were late getting there, due to the rail strike, but Jessica was there to welcome us. She walked along the main street, showing us where we could get something to eat and which place would be open for breakfast.

There are lots of steps leading up to the apartment.

It is a little oasis so close to all the activities Pinhao has to offer. I loved the privacy and of course the spaciousness of the unit.

The only thing missing was bowls for my cereal.

Les oreillers sont très usés, trop vieux, trop minces. Ils sont à changer. Les chaudrons sont très vieux, ne sont pas plats. Ils sont à changer. Salle de bain et douche sont très petites. Il y a peu de place pour se laver.

The place was ok for the price we payed. It was spacious. You have to climb up the stairs, and with bycycles it was a bit hard to do it.

Very clear instructions from Rita. We could self catering with a great kitchenette. Rita allowed us to store our luggage for a while after checkout. Very kind. Very comfy bed and pillows ..delicious!

Jessica met us on arrival and showed us the facilities. She is lovely and checked in on us the following day to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The apartment was beautifully clean, comfortably furnished and an authentic Portuguese home. A pretty, flowered court yard provided a relaxed outdoor area. The apartment is about 10mins walk from the train station, centrally located and a short walk to the river. Vineyards and wineries were within a 1 km radius. Real coffee, tea, olive oil and a few spices were provided. Thankyou especially for the coffee. These inclusions are always appreciated and make traveling much easier.

The only thing we didn't like was leaving. We felt very much at home and would have liked to stay longer.

We really enjoyed this property. It’s quiet and tucked away. Just off of the main street. It is perfect for one or two people and has lots of rustic qualities. The staff is exceptionally accommodating, friendly, and goes out of their way to make sure our visit was enjoyable.

Les 48 marches d’escalier très raides pour y parvenir. Las matelas extrêmement durs. On nous annonce qu’on peut payer à l’arrivée en espèces ou par MBWay, aucune possibilité par MBWay. La jeune dame nous explique que c’est clairement pour éviter les frais de Booking.

The location was good,very central and close to the river.

We did not like all the concrete steps,about 55 to the accommodation,pretty steep. No toilet paper,no cups or mugs,one teaspoon. The shower head was off the wall which I couldn't reach to put back on. The front wooden door was so badly stuck at the bottom and sides,loose frame as well that it needed a lot of strength yo open and close. No umbrella at the seating outside,everything could do with an up grade.

Die Wohnung ist einfach aber ausreichend und schon. Kleiner gemütlicher Balkon um am Abend noch ein Glas zu genießen.

It was positive to be able to stay in Pinhao. There are few options.

The apartment was very clean and attractive but poorly furnished. The sofa bed was not well outfitted and resulted in a poor night's rest.

Pinhao je malé městečko v srdci nádherné krajiny plné strmých svahů a vinic. Bezvadný výchozí bod pro turistiku. Dalším zážitkem je jízda vlakem v údolí Douro. Ubytování bylo čisté, dobře vybavená kuchyň. V blízkosti obchody s potravinami. Za návštěvu stojí řeznictví řezníka Talho Qualifera – Quinta das Barrocas.

Pedro met us at the apartment and allowed us to check in early because we had arrived in town a lot sooner than expected. The location is great, and you can walk to just about everywhere in Pinhao.

The building is old and tired. The bathroom is tiny. A tall person must sit sideways on the toilet because it is so cramped. There are a lot of stairs to the apartment, but we expected that.

The property looks more or less like in pictures - all was clean, getting the keys and payment was easy, the bed was comfy. There is a nice small terrace at the back of apartment (no view though) to chill in the evening. Communication was very prompt and received some good tips from the host for our stay

Apartment could use a bit of updating/remodelling, but ok for short stay and you get what you see in photos. There are steep stairs to get to the apartment (not an issue for so), so be aware if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues.

Great property nestled in the heart of beautiful Pinhao in the Douro Valley. Spacious accommodation with delicious breakfast items left for self catering breakfast. Wine stomping season was a busy time for our host, but we were pleased to connect with him - he was very gracious and offered to store our bags after check out. The only small glitch was the stove top: the igniter didn’t work, nor did one burner (once neighbours conjured up a lighter). All in all, a fantastic stay!

No complaints - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

The beds were advertised as two queens and one king. There were four twin beds in three rooms. The bathroom was so small you had to sit sideways to use the toilet. One bathroom was nearly unusable.

Ongelooflijk dat iemand over deze verhuring een positief woord kan schrijven. De foto's op booking geven een totaal verkeerd beeld.In werkelijkheid zijn het voor het oog opgesmukte krotwoningen, klein, verdeeld in 2 woongelegenheden bereikbaar via 2 steile trappen (67 treden) en opgevuld met allerlei oude rommel meubelen, keiharde bedden, een piepkleine badkamer, een vieze sofa. Er hangt een muffe, schimmelreuk. Wat je ontbijt kan noemen dag voordien 2 pistolets, plastieken doosjes met wat charcuterie, potje boter (?'), geen koffie.. Het terras is een vuile rommelige bedoening. Heel beperkt licht binnen. En daarvoor betaal je 96 euro, schandalig veel.

Everything is within walking distance of the property, such as cafes, supermarkets, wineries, river and the train station. Pinhao is a relaxed place to visit. There are many things to do and quite a few tourists visit, but it is not hectic. Supplies like bread, meat and cheese were available in the fridge at the accommodation which was a nice touch. Pedro the host was very helpful and informative and made our stay easy and fixed any problems we had.

Spacious 3 bed apartment, good kitchen facilities, great views from windows of hillside and river in distance. Pleasant terrace at back for outside eating and relaxing. Quiet location. Good air conditioning. Our host Pedro is an invaluable asset, very friendly, helpful and always available if needed - with excellent English. Plentiful breakfast/lunch supplies were a bonus.

First impression of the outside is not great - many (60+) steep steps up to property would be a problem for some, and terrace has some shabby old sofas and chairs - although some newer ones as well. Needs a paint and tidy up! Despite its 3 bedrooms, bathroom in our apartment was very small, especially the loo space which a very tall person would struggle to use! The front door lock was very stiff but we managed by lifting the door. Hot water supply is a little eccentric but plentiful once you know how to handle it. A rather musty smell in the apartment. All fairly minor points but good to be forewarned. Pedro was a star throughout our stay and was able to smooth out any issues.

The bed is too low down and too hard, main door needs maintenance of the lock, it’s a struggle to close and looked it had been broken into before, probably because the key was lost as it looks to be very safe around Pinhao as a whole and the Casas

Je ne comprends pas certains bons avis sur le petit déjeuner. Pour nous ce fut : pain la veille pour le lendemain matin, confiture et café dans des pots en verre avec couvercles métalliques rouillés donc peu hygiénique, aucun aliment sous vide, jambon blanc avarié le deuxième jour dans sa boite plastique. Il faudrait éviter d'inclure ce "faux" petit déjeuner. Pour ce prix le linge de toilette est très désagréable, rugueux et mauvaise odeur. Dommage !!!!
