Good location, wonderful views from the rerrace and pool area.

It was all good

Comfortable and clean appartement. Airco in both bedrooms to keep all rooms cool. Pool on the top level was great. Lots of secluded spaces to sit and relax.

Pinhao is very small village

Dat er een zwembad was met prachtig uitzicht over de Douro en dat je voor de deur gratis kon parkeren terwijl het bijna in het centrum van Pinhão lag

De faciliteiten op de locatie waren super. Zwembad met leuke zitjes, wasmachine in overleg te gebruiken, leuk contact met de host Tania, zeer behulpzaam. Het is zeker ook een mooie plek, om de Dourovallei te ontdekken.

Het dorp Pinhao viel eigenlijk wel tegen, geen fatsoenlijke supermarkt, over de accommodatie niets negatiefs te melden. We hebben ze de tip gegeven een ovenschaal beschikbaar te stellen, dat maakt het gebruik van de oven wat gemakkelijker.

The apartments are very comfortable, cosy, clean and in a very good location. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing, and was a huge advantage.

Fantastisk sted! Superfin og rummelig lejlighed med alt, hvad man havde brug for. Perfekt beliggenhed tæt på stationen, men væk fra larmen. Flot udsigt og lækker poolområde. Masser af oaser, hvor man kunne slå sig ned i enten sol eller skygge. Vi elskede alt ved opholdet og brugte faktisk alle aftener på terrassen i stedet for at gå ud og spise. Fantastiske værter, der havde stillet an med portvin og kage, da vi kom, de hjalp desuden med tips til indkøb og apotek.

Intet at sætte en finger på! Hvis man ankommer en søndag, skal man dog lige være opmærksom på, at de fleste butikker har lukket.

Notre hôte est gentille, prévoyantes et remplie de bonnes intentions. L appartement est très joli et confortable et la piscine est belle avec une vue magnifique.

Tout était bien juste un ami nous a rejoint au dernier moment on l’a signalé et payé la nuit pour lui ce qui est normal mais 50 euros le canapé pour une nuit c’est cher !

Great location. Walk right into town and to all the sightseeing boats. Lots of quintas for wine tasting are close by. The apartment had plenty of room for the two of us. It was hot while we were there, so the pool was our favorite amenity. Overlooking the Douro Valley from the pool with a class of wine in hand was wonderful.

We loved the pool and the view. We also used the kitchen near the pool to make dinner one night which was nice and we loved hanging out with the cats and dogs outside!

La magnifique terrasse et l’accueil personnalisé sur la table. La piscine La proximité de la gare et des départs pour les croisières sur le Douro.

Les photos sont conformes mais j’ai cru que j’aurais accès directement à la terrasse de mon appartement. Hors l’appartement 1 est situé au premier niveau dont très sombre. Il faut monter 2 étages pour avoir accès à la terrasse et avoir de la lumière naturelle.

Great space to stay at. There is a nice pool and area to sit down have a drink or have a little swim with a fantastic view.

The room can be a bit poorly lit, but not a huge issue.

The owners are lovely, and the apartments are great ! Two bedrooms, nice beds, great shower. Location is super, just 2 minutes from the train station. Also the pool is really nice to relax after a day of hiking and wine tastings

Right in the middle of town. The hosts kindly provided welcome pastas de nata and port. The kitchen was well equipped.

The apartment was very well equipped. Nice touches from our host as well. Welcome items such as Pastel de Natas and port were appreciated.

Be aware there are some stairs to access the apartment. Could be difficult if you have heavy bags.

The panoramic view of the terrace was excellent. The apartment was clean and the location was good, just a few minutes from the main street. The owners helped us with a great local driver to visit a winery.

Due to central location there was quite a lot of noise in the evening, so earplugs are recommended. From the information I thought the terrace & pool would be private, but it was shared with several flats (still very quiet) in May, at least.

Beautiful place. Bed was very good quality. Comfortable and very clean. Host is very nice. Felt at home. Full kitchen allowed us to prepare all our meals. Close to downtown and train station.

Buena ubicación a 100 metros de la estación de tren. Apartamento limpio y con todos los servicios. La zonas comunes (piscina, terraza, tumbonas) están muy bien.

Los grifos hacen ruido. El desayuno no cumplió mis expectativas. Creo que se podían esmerar algo más en cantidad y, sobre todo, en calidad. Al llegar te dejan cuatro cosas muy básicas. En la nevera 4 lonchas de jamón de york y otras 4 de queso de barra y un yogur natural. Por el precio que pagas se podían esmerar un poco más en eso. Te dejan un bollito de pan al llegar para que lo desayunes al día siguiente. Es decir, desayunas un pan del día anterior. En otras casas que he estado te dejan pan del día a la puerta a primera hora de la mañana. Son detalles que deben de mejorar.

The patio overlooking the river was AMAZING. We spent as much time as we could and the weather cooperated :))

We really enjoyed staying here, our room was very comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed. The pool was very nice and clean with a beautiful view of the river. The staff was kind and helpful. Would absolutely go back!

Perfectly located mere mins walk from Pinhao station, our lovely host had stocked the fridge with some essentials foods & fruit so we didn't have to stress about finding groceries straight away Sweet little apartment, with master bedroom & single room, with a living room & full kitchen. Shower was great pressure (which is a must for me!) The host has a few adorable mixed dogs who are so friendly & cute as well as some cats who love to chill. The pool is a great size for the 3 apartments in total, and has a sweet view of the surrounding area. Personally, would have loved a brighter light/little desk lamps or something - yellow lighting tho comforting made it a bit difficult to work & the downstairs apartment we were in, doesn't get as much light as the upstairs ones right by the pool

Piękny widok na okolice z basenu i tarasów. Wygodny apartament z pełnym wyposażeniem. W apartamencie mieliśmy przygotowane produkty na śniadanie. Przemiła właścicielka , która podpowiedziała nam lokalne atrakcje. Przy basenie leżaki, stoliki, krzesła i fotele,wygodne miejsce dla wypoczynku.

Rooms dark but then that helps them stay cool

Lugar ideal para disfrutar del entorno y tener unos dias de tranquilidad disfrutando de su maravillosa terraza y piscina. Anfitriones encantadores, amables y pendientes de cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar. Sin duda, para volver en otras ocasiones. Tania y su familia fueron unos excelentes anfitriones. A poca distancia a pie de la estacion de tren, de pequeños supermercados y tiendas de alimentacion. Conocidas bodegas tambien a pocos metros dando un agradable paseo. El apartamento es amplio, cómodo, con una pequeña zona exterior y extremadamente limpio.

The host was amazing. Left breakfast foods in the fridge which was a pleasant surprise. Pool was great, especially with the temps being in the high 30’s. Accomodation was very comfortable, modern and clean.

Sehr gute Raumausstattung und Küche. Wir bekamen Brot, Eier und Aufschnitt für den Morgen. Der Pool haben wir sehr genossen und waren alleine die ganze Zeit.

Kaffekapseln haben nicht mit der Maschine funktioniert, was schade war. Nur 1 Tag gebucht.

Pinhao es un lugar bonito sobre todo desde unas vistas en altura. Y este sitio las tiene, y además cuenta con una suficiente piscina para refrescarte en las calurosas tardes de verano desde donde poder contemplarlas. El apartamento es sencillo pero operativo, tal vez le falta un poco de luz natural al salón-cocina donde desayunar o comer, al menos en el apartamento en el que estuvimos nosotros alojados.

The location was central and very close to the railway station. The pool was really nice and had great views. Tables and chairs in the pool area meant meals could be enjoyed with the views. The breakfast provisions were fabulous and we enjoyed the daily bread delivery.

Pinhão is a beautiful relaxing place. When we visited it was really hot and Casa Nunes was the perfect place to retreat to. The apartment was very well equipped, refreshingly cool the rooftop swimming pool was amazing! The whole place was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Lots of goodies provided for breakfast and the hosts couldn’t have been friendlier. Definitely recommend.

No negatives at all

The views were really nice from the outdoor area - even though it is shared there are lots of places to relax and hangout so still feels private. The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating, providing a full breakfast and a welcoming atmosphere. The apartment was clean with everything as described, aircon was really good and exactly what we needed after 40 degree heat!

Nice little apartment very close to the train station, but off the main street, and quiet. The hosts were super-friendly and hospitable. They provided everything we could want to prepare a complete breakfast: eggs, bread, meat, cheese, yogurt, fruit etc. We needed early check-in, and they were very cooperative. The view of the valley from the pool area was beautiful.

Lighting could be better in the kitchen and bathroom.

Lovely little peaceful oasis with spectacular views over the Douro valley. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Walking distance to restaurants, the harbour and the train station.

The rooftop garden and pool has a faboulous view. The new addition of a modern suite looks interesting. Next generation has joined the family of hosts. The host remembered me from a previous visit a couple of years ago. Brekfast included and provided on request.

Lighting can be improved since the apartment is quite dark and currently a bit “gloomy” in a cold blue light.

The host was so kind and generous. It’s an adorable place in a beautiful location. Also, the daily bread delivery was awesome.

Location : Less than 5 mins walking from the train station. Perfect for dropping off the bags and going for winery tour. yes, it's little hilly way up. Room : It's a whole apartment, not just a single studio type room. Fully equipped kitchen, living room is well set up to relax. I found beds are comfier than average vacational rental ones. Clean & Spacious! Hospitality : Owner welcomed us upon arriving, explained few details might be tricky for travelers, like how to lock the door. She provided us coffee & tea, breakfast items & snacks. I believe breakfast is not included but it was thoughtful gesture since there is not much around the town, especially in off season. Feels right away that she genuinly cares, hence excellent reviews all around.

I had a little question to ask prior to check-in, but only fast way to communicate is to call. Since i don't speak in portuguese with no local voice calling option, contacted through booking.com but never got answered in time. Wish there is a direct email address or sns message options, so google can translate it.

It was cold when we first arrived. Took a while to warm up. We had a little trouble coordinating our check in but it got sorted out.

Clean, spacious apartment. Loved the rooftop terrace. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and delivered a wonderful breakfast basket each morning.

The location was perfect especially as my father is elderly and couldn't walk for miles. Almost right opposite the pretty train station and very close to restaurants and little supermarkets. Right in the middle of Pinhao, which is stunning. The hosts were very kind and friendly and put in a load of washing for us, and even hung it out to dry when we were out. Very clean and comfortable property, nice large double bed and lovely breakfast delivered daily. The host speaks very good English which is a bonus! Really nice little swimming pool on the top level with a great view.

Probably more comfortable for two, rather than three adults, the second bedroom is small and bed narrow - perfect for a child, but my father was comfortable enough. Very hard to find fault - perhaps a little more than one half of loo roll and soap provided as standard would be nice, and the property is on a residential street so there is a little noise outside, but nothing major.

The breakfast was excellent, very convenient location.

An excellent host who left our breakfast in a picnic basket each morning. A great location just off the main street near the rail station. It's a great base for touring. A lovely pool on a terrace with a wonderful view.

The Airbnb flat has everything you could possibly need. We arrived late in the evening, and the owner was waiting near the train station to greet us, she pointed out the best route to take to the house and that the key was in the door. Once in, the flat was clean, towels (including beach towels provided) and the Aircon was on, so it was lovely and cool! In the morning, breakfast was served in a basket left outside our door at 8am, and there was an array of options, from bread rolls, to croissants and yoghurt and fruit. We plated up our breakfast and took it upstairs to the shared terrace by the pool, where we enjoyed it with a view - and what a view! The owner continuously offered the use of the washing machine, which we did not need but was nice to know it was available. On our last day, we double checked the check out time and even though there was an hour before our train was due, we were offered to leave our bags in a cupboard downstairs. Our last breakfast came extra loaded, so we enjoyed making sandwiches to eat on the train. Highly highly recommend!

We loved this apartment in Pinhao! The hosts were super friendly and very attentive. They even did our laundry for us! Each morning we had a delicious (and huge) breakfast waiting for us by our door. The pool/spa deck looks out to a beautiful view of the Douro River. The neat apartment has several bedrooms and super clean bathroom! If you visit Pinhao, stay here! You will not regret it!

Tania and her family are wonderful. We took the train from Porto to Pinhao and decided to stay the night. The hospitality here is second to none. Traditional family home with a couple of apartments to let. Everything you could possibly need. A lovely breakfast hamper delivered in the morning. Beautiful pool with spectacular views. Close to the station, to the river, the winery’s. Would highly recommend.

Nothing not to like.

Fantastic setting only minutes walk to historic center of town and shops, bars, restaurants. The pool was inaugurated only months ago and it was heavenly to sit by the patio and swim, wine/dine and enjoy the Duero views. The hosts were lovely, responsive and always ready to guide you on anything. They were incredible and prepare a lovely home-style breakfast. Thank you, obrigado and merci!!!

Lighting for steps going up to pool area missing. Not very clear from booking advert that you'll be sharing the outdoor/terrace/pool facilities with another 2 or 3 guests in adjoining flats.
