Lemonade Cottages

We, a group of 5 friends stayed in The Lemon Cottage and it was beautifully decorated with a lot of thought and love gone into it. The bedrooms were a decent size and sitting room was quiet large but so cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and the decked area was fantastic for eating out and relaxing. We really enjoyed the hot tub and it was great to have a gas bbq too. All the cottages are beautifully presented and there's a lovely secluded area with games/chill out area. It is an ideal setting for a girlie relaxing getaway with the advantage of having Kilrush town 15 min away

Good sizes of bedrooms and they were nicely decorated, beds were comfy Bbq and lovely sitting area outside with beautiful view Very attentive owner Sitting room with great fireplace wood provided

Great facilities, super comfortable beds with highquaity linen. Very well equipped. Friendly hosts.

Lovely country property. Very peaceful and relaxed. Loved the hot tub as it was typical Irish weather! Games room is great. Kids loved the fire-pit for toasting marshmallows

It was a beautiful, quiet location, and not far from the local town.

We stayed in the charming 3 bedroom cottage “lemonade cottage”. It was very well equipped and was really comfortable. It’s remote so a car is essential but also it’s wonderfully quiet. The weather really let us don’t but it didn’t stop us and the location is perfect for visits to Kilrush, Kilkee and Loop Head ( a visit to the lighthouse and cliffs is a must). We made use of the games cabin which has darts and foosball as well as other games. There’s something quite special about sitting in the jacuzzi under a canopy of trees overlooking an orchard with only the occasional sound of sheep or cows in faraway fields. Keith was great, he left us to our own devices but was close by if we needed him.

We didn’t dislike anything

We had a lovely time in Lemonade Cottages, we stayed with our three young children. The house itself is beautifully decorated and you can tell a lot of work was put into them to be stylish and unique but with all the modern conveniences you need. The area outside was perfect for the kids to play and we enjoyed the view from outside the house in the evening time.

Fab little cottage for a family of 6 to explore Clare and Kerry. We had a lovely time. Host was so nice and welcoming. Great base to explore the area.

Gorgeous location

The whole Are of Lemonade Cottages was amazing 😊 The hosts werwere so friendly and always available if we neneeded them. It is also dog friendly so that really helped because it's so hard to find those nowadays. We got a beautiful house as well with a lovely kitchen and two very lovely rooms with very comfy beds. My dog also loved that. A bit of a drive to Kilrush but totally worth it with how beautiful the hosts and house was. Right smack in the countryside and that made it even more magical. They had a lovely Hot Tub which was very cozy with a games room,beside it perfect for kids. We will definitely be coming back with the dogs and Highly recommend. The house was so clean too which was lovely.

The cottage was really nice and had everything we needed for our stay. The property manager was very friendly and helpful, she even dropped us into the town and picked us up later that day which was very kind of her.

It was a bit far out from the nearest town.

A beautiful rural location; we were there for a few quiet days. Keith and Lorraine were excellent hosts. On hand to answer questions and help in any way possible to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They have put a huge amount of effort and love into their project and it clearly shows in the high standards throughout the cottage. They were happy to share their local knowledge of the area and the great food available close by - Leo in Doonbeg and the pizza Lorraine collected for us on the night we arrived - both are well worth trying. The location is great for exploring the Clare area and within easy driving distances of Loop Head, Cliffs of Moher and Lahinch.

That we didn't have time to stay longer!

We (4 friends) had a wonderful weekend in the Lemonade cottages. The super cozy house full of applainces and facilities to cook a perfect breakfast/dinner! Tea, milk, sugar, coffee with coffee machine, fruits and sweet compliments were there on the arrival. Absolutely loved to see some antique and handmade furniture pieces. They look so nice! We had warm and cozy evenings in the common leaving room after whole day of hiking with wine and cheese nearby the fireplace with the boarding game. Bed was super comfortable as well, so I could highly recommend that stay! Also huge thank you to hosts. It was very pleasant and easy to communicate! Alex

My sister and I were on an ancestry trip in County Clare. This location was right where we need to begin our search. it also provided a place to relax and unwind at the end of each day.

several times we were lost trying to get back in the evening since our GPS would get confused on the country lanes.
