Not a big issue but a heat pump would have been nice, although I have to say we were warm enough with the electric heaters and the electric blankets in beds.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2025Noel and Janet were so respectful of our privacy, I can't stress this enough. The cottage had everything you need, and the bonus was the amazing view! Absolutely stunning! We stayed here for Beach Hop 2025 and our daughters 19th birthday and we really couldn't have asked for more. Zero stress, home comfort little holiday. Thankyou again Noel and Janet 🥰

Reviewed May 27, 2024A lovely location overlooking the inlet. Wonderful gardens and quiet property. The cottage itself is lovely with all the necessities and extra . touches that you don't expect. Very immaculate place and amazing level of cleanliness and modern with rustic touches combine to make this a must stay cottage for the family.
Only thing missing is a dishwasher but no problem to get in and do the dishes once in a while.

Reviewed Dec 11, 2023This is a detached cottage roughly midway between Waihi, Waihi Beach and Katikati. Two large bedrooms, lounge containing kitchen area, bathroom, outside patio with lovely ocean view. Good facilities, the owners Noel & Janet were very friendly and helpful.
Use of a car is essential.

We only stayed a night but would happily have stayed for longer and will definitely return if in the area again. The views were amazing and the beds comfy. Can't fault it for the price. The little touches really made it like having details on where to find items in the property, magazines, maps, information leaflets. Even a luggage stand and plenty of plug sockets which was amazing. Bed was so comfy. Only met Janet at the property but a really lovely host and so helpful. A truly amazing place and wish we’d found it sooner and could’ve stayed longer
