We enjoyed every minute of our stay! Tom and Iva are wonderful hosts—incredibly kind, welcoming, and hospitable. The accommodations were charming and quaint, the beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would love to stay again.

Não é que não gostei, mas há cosias que poderiam melhorar: ter um lixo no banheiro. Ter cortesias no quarto pelo valor da noite comparado com outras localidades na Áustria : amenidades de banho e algo no refrigerador.

I da Mitt is a beautifully restored hotel. Charming rooms and a little bar right in the village square. The host is pleasant and the staff is welcoming. Breakfast is wonderful.

Localização. Fica na praça principal da cidade, e ao lado do píer. Também a poucos metros de caminhada de bons restaurantes.

Além do deck de onde sai o barco da estação de trem para esta cidade, muitos lugares, inclusive o próprio hotel, não aceitam cartão de crédito. Se você decidir vir para cá, precisa ter dinheiro vivo. Inclusive no dia do check out, já estávamos de saída quando nos avisaram que havia a taxa de turismo, a qual só poderia ser paga em dinheiro. Era nosso último dia de viagem e estávamos com pouco dinheiro em espécie, então acredito que essa taxa deveria já ser cobrada no check in, para que o hóspede possa se programar. A cidade é bem pequena e não há muito o que fazer nela, vá apenas se você quiser apenas descansar. O café da manhã tem poucas opções, uma jovem senhora prepara com gentileza, mas é de fato modesto. Estava muuuuito calor, não há ar condicionado, apenas ventilador. Quando chegamos, ele não estava funcionando, mas logo substituíram por outro. A cortina não filtra nada do sol, tivemos que pendurar cobertores pra conseguir deixar um pouco mais escuro, já que o sol nasce na janela do quarto.

We loved everything about this place. The people working there were extremely friendly, the room we stayed at was absolutely amazing, the matress was very comfortable. Additionally, our room was next to the small river giving us the opportunity to enjoy the water flow. Overall experience 10/10

I da Mitt is a delightful B&B in the heart of beautiful Hallstatt. We stayed in Room 3 which was very large and had a sitting area as well as a window looking into the town with a bubbling brook below. The modern bathroom was the largest we have had on our European trip so far. The team was very welcoming and breakfast was fabulous with fresh scrambled eggs and even apple strudel! Would highly recommend.

The location could not have been better. It is, like the name says, right in the middle of the square. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The owner even gave us coffee before breakfast hours, and sold us beer after they were closed to the public.

I wish I could have stayed longer, we didn't want to leave such a lovely place!

Beautiful room in an excellent location. Loved being able to overlook the church and clock tower from our room. The staff were very nice and made us feel right at home.

Right in the center of the village square. Modern room and facilities in a restored old historic building. Great location for people watching while having a drink out front. Breakfast each morning was excellent and the owner & management were friendly. They even carried our bags up to the second floor!

The Bar closed a bit early, but then again there isn’t a lot to do in town after shops close. Room 2 faces the square with large windows that open and can be noisy during peak tourist times.

El hotel está ubicado en la plaza principal del pueblo. Reservamos habitación con balcón y fue encantador poder tomar un refresco por la noche en el balcón contemplando la plaza y el entorno natural. Buen desayuno y magnífica atención. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

The owner Thomas was very helpful and warm. The location was superb, less than 5 minutes walk from the ferry in the iconic and historical market place. Many tourists seemed to love taking photos of Ida Mitt as it has a very pretty facade. Rooms are clean, bathrooms modern. This very traditional, cosy and intimate inn is in a very convenient location with many restaurants and little shops nearby. My room had a little balcony and it was very lovely to sit, enjoy the views and breathe in the fresh cool air. We also visited the famous Salzwelten salt mines which was a very eye-opening experience. The beautiful terrace restaurant of SEEHOTEL GRÜNER BAUM is just less than 50 metres away with dazzling views of the lake. Ida Mitt served delicious Austrian breakfast with a selection of cheeses, hams, fruit cocktail, fresh bread (so yummy) and even apple strudel! Great coffee too. Thank you Ida Mitt.. our family had a very memorable stay! xx

It would be nice to have an iron & ironing board in the room. 2. There is a pub opposite the road which may a bit noisy for guests. It may be a good idea to ask the owner to request patrons to speak softly after 11pm. 3. Summer nights, a little warm so do leave the windows open.

Bez klimatizace, při vedrech velké teplo v noci. Pokud máte pokoj s balkonem na náměstí, občas hlučno do pozdních hodin.

Espectacular! es difícil de valorar porque nos une una relación emocional con el lugar, es 1 hotel chico, en la mejor ubicación frente a la plaza, muy buen desayuno, el mejor, limpieza y comodidad, gran servicio. Tiene un bar restorán abajo muy bueno y las habitaciones se accede por escalera, todo en madera con fotos y decoración antigua haciendo honor a su historia. Nos alojamos 1 noche y recomendamos hacerlo, viva la experiencia de recorrer el pueblo en horarios donde no esta el grueso de turistas y todo es mas tranquilo y mas calmo. Para eso I da Mitt es una gran elección. Tiene habitaciones ampliamente confortables, un desayuno genial, muy rico, variado y completo y con una gran atención.

Location, In the Middle, of everything we wanted to see and do was perfect. The owners treated us like family, genuinely kind and very helpful. Room and breakfast including the cold beer in mini refrigerator was a perfect touch after traveling a long way! Highly recommended!

Absolut totul!

We loved how close the hotel was to the city center. It is in the original part of town and at the very center of the town square. The water fountain that gives fresh glacier water from the mountain is directly in front of the hotel. The water was delicious. Eva (I think that was her name) was so kind and took very good care of us and made the most amazing breakfast with homemade yogurt and delicious eggs cooked to order. The rooms were wonderful.

The only negative was that the hotel does not have a/c, but that is not something that is normally needed. We just happened to be here during a heat wave all throughout Europe.

Very nice place, and the location was right in the center.

Stairs are always difficult so if you have any issue with up or down stairs this will be hard. No elevator. It was also warm when we stayed so a fan would have been nice.

Ubicado en la plaza principal de Hallstatt, es un alojamiento muy tranquilo, estupendo para nuestra estadía. Las dos habitaciones eran amplias, limpias y los baños impecables. Los colchones eran del tipo que se hunden un poco, supongo que muy cómodos para quienes gustan de ese tipo de colchones, en lo personal los prefiero más firmes. Nos permitieron dejar las valijas antes del check in y después del check out. El desayuno estuvo exquisito y atendido muy cálidamente por la persona que estaba a cargo, y sirvió para mejorar la relación calidad - precio.

No air con, which we knew in advance but very warm in the room, like there was heating on. Asked the owner if there was any way of reducing the heat, and was rather sarcastic and said "open the windows" not all hotels allow this hence why I asked. He also stood outside the hotel, right beneath our windows that we were told to open smoking with friends most of the evening. Such a shame that these things let it down.

Breakfast was good and generous. The bed was comfortable and the room was very nice. Staff were friendly and very helpful. It was nice to have a balcony. The room was very spacious. The location was good on the market square a block from the water. It was nice not to be in a big hotel.

Since there was no AC, we needed to open the windows to cool the room off. But the room is over a bar, so we often had smokers sitting below us or people talking and the light from the square shining in which wasn't pleasant later in the evening when we wanted to sleep with windows open. It would help if they air out the room by opening the windows/door to make it cooler before guests get there. A couple of long hairs in the bathroom were missed.

The greeting when we arrived was wonderful!

Not knowing that because Hallstatt is a “day tripper” destination the majority of restaurants close by 6pm.

The location is amazing! The staff was so accommodating and kind. We had beautiful rooms in an unforgettable setting. Wonderful breakfast!

The property is lovely, in a great location and the breakfast and coffee were very good. The balcony room in which we stayed was updated and comfortable, the bathroom was especially nice.

I would love to give a purely positive review as the property itself is lovely with good hospitality. However, we had a poor communication experience with the ownership. We needed ownership cooperation with a booking issue and it was never resolved, resulting in us being charged twice for the booking. I spoke to the owner during my stay to get the issue resolved and there was no follow through. We contacted the owner/property numerous times via multiple avenues both prior to the stay and after with no resolution. Do not book through Booking.com.

Hotel em prédio histórico (1751), bem no centro (i da mitt) histórico de Hallstatt. Hotel com apenas 4 quartos, o cuidado com detalhes é um destaque. Apesar do prédio antigo, instalações foram modernizadas sem perder a identidade. Quarto e banheiro amplos. Hoteis pequenos ou familiares geralmente sao limitados no café da manhã, mas aqui é bem servido (com frutas naturais). Apesar de não poder chegar de carro até o hotel, é disponibilizado um shuttle (sem custo adicional) do estacionamento P1 até o hotel ( e vice versa).

This hotel is an incredible location with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. They were very accommodating and friendly and would definitely recommend and go again in the future.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Appears to have had a makeover recently and everything is to a high modern standard. Fabulous location right in the market square. Breakfast was super, best eggs of the whole holiday. Owner and staff really helpful. It was so good I didn't even mind being woken by the church bells.

It has a steep staircase but what do you expect in a building built on the side of a mountain.

Fantastiskt litet mysigt hotell precis vid torget i Hallstatt. Vi hade turen att få bo i rummet med balkong ut mot torget, vilket var väldigt trevligt. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

I don’t know why I had to pay taxes in cash when I checked out, it wasn’t a lot but it was unexpected.

I Da Mitt is centrally located in Hallstatt and easy to find. The room was cozy, attractive, and very clean. The staff was terrific and the breakfast was delicious. My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend I Da Mitt without hesitation.

Great location - close to the ferry and main square. Gorgeous, cosy room. Very friendly staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast in the mornings. Appreciated the dinner restaurant recommendations in the room when we arrived.

The bed and pillow were a little uncomfortable. It would have been nice to have tissues available in the room. It was a little noisy downstairs on our second evening, when we were trying to go to sleep.

Cozy family hotel just 50 m from ferry. The room was spacious, clean, combining old 'rustic' and modern style, includes refrigerator, safe, coffee machine and kettle, additional fan heater, hair dryer. Breakfast was quite good, check-in even earlier than as per property rules, at check-out it was possible to left the luggage downstairs till evening.

Στα χρήματα αυτά καλό θα ήταν να προσφέρονται κάποιες παροχές οπως παντοφλες κλπ.Δεν πρέπει να στρώνονται στο κρεβάτι διακοσμητικά μαξιλάρια κ ριχτάρια τα οποία δεν πλένονται σε κάθε άφιξη πελάτη. Τα παπλώματα είναι πολύ μικρά. Ένας μεγάλοσωμος άνθρωπος σίγουρα δεν θα μπορεί να σκεπαστεί.

This was the perfect stay. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Staff was accommodating to early check in and loved having a bar on site

We loved staying here. Such a nice owner who was super nice and helpful. Loved the charming breakfast. Nice sized bathroom. Updated rooms. Only four rooms and it’s a smallish inn but so charming and quaint and right on the main square that’s the prettiest part of town.

Our host and his staff were wonderful and treated us to a delicious breakfast each day, even preparing our meal an hour early on the day of our departure.

We actually didn't mind this, but the church bells chime loudly at 6am each morning in Hallstatt. So completely quiet mornings are not an option. Also, we were a bit surprised for the number of "day tourists" arriving by ferry and bus each day, so it was more crowded than anticipated during the day. But in the evenings, no problem get seated in a local restaurant.
