El alojamiento destaca por su confort y por el buen estado general de las instalaciones. Las habitaciones son cómodas, agradables y están muy bien cuidadas, ofreciendo un espacio perfecto para descansar después de un día de turismo. Es una casa tradicional alpina La limpieza es otro de sus puntos fuertes: tanto las habitaciones como las zonas comunes se encuentran muy limpias y cuidadas. El edificio tiene mucho encanto y está bien conservado, creando un ambiente acogedor y agradable.

De communicatie ivm het inchecken. Geen antwoord op ons bericht ivm aankomstuur. Geen code ontvangen, gelukkig hebben we toch de code telefonisch gekregen van de host. Het is een winkel die na 18u sluit. Horeca is een scam!

L’appartement est conforme aux photos sauf que ce sont deux chambres avec des lits doubles (sur les photos de l’annonce, une chambre est avec deux lits, nous aurions préféré). Le contact n est pas si facile, si vous n’êtes pas aux heures d’ouvertures de la boutique, vous ne pouvez écrire que des mails, je n’ai pas eu de réponses suite à mes deux derniers messages pour le départ. Sinon on s’y sent bien, le balcon est un plus. Pour info, les literies sont super durs! Bon séjour néanmoins

Location is central. Apartment is clean and cozy in an old fashioned way.

Wood stairs going up to the apartment are pretty steep and narrow, without a bannister the last few steps. No elevator. Not easy with luggage. Staff not particularly friendly.

AMAZING! Hundreds of years old, but so comfy with great beds and heated floors! It was such an absolutely fun place to stay in an iconic location. The water outside our room roaring by, the hikes right outside our door, the history, all of it! I won’t ever forget it! The Airbnb is above a store and everything is just so quaint!

We loved everything about it!

It is unacceptable the check-in hour at 16:00 and check-out time at 09:00.

We had a great stay at Salzhaus. The location is great-right in the middle of old town. The apartment was truly unique with oodles of Austrian charm. Not your ordinary hotel room for sure. We had considered staying outside the old town, but are really pleased that we stayed here. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Very little negative. One recommendation would be to put a hand railing on the wall for going up and down the stairs. It’s a bit steep for some.

We loved that it was an authentic 250 year old house above a store right in the middle of the village. The house was a lot bigger than what we expected

It's an excellent apartment with a great location. A mountain waterfall flows behind the house, and the facilities are complete. You can cook by yourself, which is really nice.

Because it's such a huge attraction, it's also very noisy. Not only from tourists, but also early in the morning when deliveries for the stores are made with trucks.

We had a wonderful stay at Salzhaus! Although we didn’t meet the Tucek family in person, their warmth was felt from the moment we arrived — they surprised my husband with a thoughtful birthday gift that made our stay feel extra special. The house is absolutely charming, fully equipped, and beautifully maintained. Every detail — from the cozy bedrooms to the well-stocked kitchen and spotless bathroom — was perfect. The only thing we felt was truly missing was a second bathroom in the upstairs loft, which would make the space even more comfortable for guests. Still, Salzhaus is a gem — clean, organized, and perfectly located in the heart of Hallstatt. We’re deeply grateful for the experience and would gladly return in the future 🥰

Ideal Location, very spacious and traditional style yet contemporary with modern facilities. Comfortable beds, hygienic and felt homely. Excellent WiFi. Will definitely recommend.

One bathroom and toilet

Had a nice stay at the property in Hallstatt! It is in a great location! The little shop on the first floor was not open while we were there (the end of March). There are also some steep steps to get up to the unit. The second bedroom was up another set of steps (not heated or the landing at the top) and was separated from the other floor. Also of note, there is no oven.

The place is amazing. An authentic Austrian Mountain get away in the heart of an ancient village. The apartment is very spacious, and has a mix of rustic decor with modern comforts. Hallstatt itself has many things to see and do. From the museums to the amazing salt mine experience, walks in the forest and many nearby ski options. We will be coming back for sure!!!

Salzhaus exceeded our expectations. The location was convenient and the instructions given to access the property were clear. Our highlight was the decor and homely feel to the place making it a unique place to stay.

It was an entire apartment with an upstairs and downstairs bedroom, a kitchen, and outdoor terrace. It was beautiful and in a great location. My kids absolutely loved it too.

Perfect location in the old center near the church and the lake. Old authentic house with charming atmosphere. Separate bedrooms. Wonderful balcony with mountain view.

Was not a big problem, but still need to mention that the second bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is only at the first floor, so you will probably need to climb the stairs in the night. Very early checkout.
