It was a nice place. The room was clean and did not feel cramped. The bathroom was also big enough so that it didn't feel like it was forced in.

One of the mattresses of the double bed was either very soft or the planks under the bed were broken because it felt like I was almost folded double. The shower hot water also only lasted for about 10 minutes.

Der Gastgeber war freundlich und zu jeder Zeit zu erreichen. Außerdem ist die Lage zentral und trotzdem angenehm ruhig. Das Bett war bequem und die Wäsche frisch gewaschen.

Insgesamt war die Unterkunft nicht so sauber wie wir uns das gewünscht hätten. Leider entspricht das Badezimmer nicht den hochgeladen Fotos. Der Teppichboden (der auch im Bad war) hat einen unangenehmen Geruch und es gab Spinnweben. Die Tür des Zimmers ist nur von innen verschließbar und man muss das Zimmer verlassen um ins eigene Bad zu kommen, auf der Ebene gibt es zusätzliche Räume die anderweitig genutzt werden.

the owner were really nice, friendly and helpful. The property had everything you needed and very good value for money. I was really happy with the everything.

Very friendly hosts, very clean, quiet accomodation, comfortable bed. Room stocked with tea, even welcoming chocolate bars and bottled water.Close to tesco store and easy acces to A1. Parking ws free and easy.Great value for the money and would stay there again.

Although breakfast was advertised as being in the bedroom, nothing was offered. There were cereal containers on the landing but no bowls, spoons or milk. No information was given. We had to leave early so disappointing.

Nice towels and bedding. Nice shower and bathroom. Best shower I’ve ever used!!!! “Looked” fairly new. Good parking.

Room initially looked “new” and “clean” but it was a bit grubby when you looked more closely. Ledges of doors, behind drawer units, Under bed, Behind bed, stair carpet, hall, general appearance was grubby. Bed had collapsed or it was THE SOFTEST BED IN THE COUNTRY. Breakfast:- wow! not, repeat NOT, full Scottish/ English! Served in the room which had only one chair. Tea, coffee, cereal, milk, croissants, juice, butter, marmalade, jam. And that was it! So although it said “Breakfast included” it was most definitely not what we expected!!!

The attitude of the owner was disgusting. When we arrived it was obvious he had been drinking. He didn't look clean. The two reception rooms downstairs were unusable, due to the amount of rubbish there. He was quite abusive to both myself and my wife. We decided to stay elsewhere even though it cost us more money. I definitely would advise everyone to not think of staying with him.

We needed 3 bedrooms and this place provided what we needed. Staff were very pleasant and we had a comfortable stay. Thank you.

Bed was large and quite comfy.

Very unfriendly owner, who vanished as soon as he had let me in and gestured towards the door of my room. My bedroom door didn't lock, and as a woman on her own I was reduced to putting a heavy piece of furniture in front of it on the inside so that I felt safe. The room was very cluttered and not very clean. I only stayed here for one night, thank goodness as the excellent Dolphin on the town centre was unavailable. Never again!

Great value for money. Ian the host waited up for us to arrive, even though we were very late (23:30). Good breakfast, comfortable bed and close to the A1 road

Ian was a lovely laidback and welcoming host who left us to it. The ensuite room was comfortable and professionally presented, and mostly clean where it mattered but quite dusty in the lesser used parts. Little tea tray, kettle, mugs and tiny fridge were useful. TV with standard channels. Internet was good for basic use.

The room wasn't deeply cleaned and very dusty in the lesser used parts and some surfaces. Bedsheets, sink, toilet and shower all clean.

Es sollte unbedingt in der Beschreibung erwähnt werden, dass man keine Schlüssel bekommt. Weder für die Haustür noch für sein Zimmer! Man wohnt bei einem Mann im Haus und alles wirkt ziemlich chaotisch. Für eine Nacht okay, aber ich würde nicht nochmal hier übernachten wollen.

The pillow cases stank of musk. There were spiderwebs everywhere and the bathroom looked like it was put together by a 5 years old. The mattered had hard springs and not comfortable at all. My neck hurt after.

Nice room as shown, very comfy bed. Parking in front of house off-street. Breakfast choice of cereals & warm pastries.

Breakfast was brought to my room - nice in some ways but weird in others. No communal space for breakfast as is owners home. Bathroom for sole use was next door, so have to go out onto landing- not as ideal as en-suite. Couldn't get shower to work so used bath. Only realised later that switch was outside- this could have been pointed out at welcome.

Ian was a lovely host, everything was great, with a wonderful breakfast. The area was very quiet and the shower was hot and strong. The toilet was up off the ground. Which I loved because I am tall and sometimes have difficulty sitting down on the toilet and then getting up again, but this one was brilliant. Towels were a good size and fluffy.

The only thing that could be attended to was that the toilet seat was a little loose so I had to be careful not to move it.

Our room had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable. Our private bathroom was also clean with a good shower. Breakfast was great with yoghurt, cereals, croissant and pastry and tea / coffee, which we ate in our room. Our host was very accommodating and happily offered to put our bikes in a locked shed.

This stay was great for us. If you're looking for a b and b which is like a hotel, this might not suit you.

Ideal location for a wedding we went to at Dunglass Estate

Lokalizacja niedaleko sklepu ASAD i McDonalds. Mieliśmy dwa pokoje, jeden był czyściutki, drugi trochę mniej, ale generalnie bez problemu nocowałbym tam drugi raz. Czajnik w pokoju. Fajne miejsce.

Near to A1 for a stopover & close to a pub for food & Asda Bed was comfy nice linen & towels

I thought it was ensuite which it wasn't but we did have sole use of a bathroom next door. Bathroom had lots of cobwebs & 2 lights didn't work, it was full of the owners personal things/ toiletries. Couldn't lock the bedroom door when we went out. The small mini fridge in the room didn't get cold.

Uns begrüßte ein älterer Herr charmant schottisch. Die Zimmer sind groß mit eigenem Bad jeweils. Für uns als Wanderer war es auch prima das Duschgel etc. zur Verfügung stand. Das Frühstück stand pünktlich zur gewünschten Zeit vor der Tür, mit Kaffee, Saft, Milch verschiedenen Flakes (6Sorten), Joghurt, blieb kein Wunsch offen. Croissants und Teilchen kamen frisch aus dem Ofen und waren noch warm. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen.

Es war alles da was man braucht, und das reichlich!

Wat een super gast vriendelijke man . Hij krijgt een dikke 10 van ons . Wat deed hij goed zijn best .

Beviel niet is een groot woord . We hadden een koude douche maar hier heeft hij meteen actie mee ondernomen. En er is een tegel kapot op de badkamer bij de toilet die mag wel vast gezet worden .

Staff were lovely, location was spot on for what we wanted.

We had an alarm going off from 8pm until the morning of leaving. We had hardly any sleep, it was atrocious. The owners were aware but decided not to sort it or notify us of them not wanting to sort it out otherwise we would have left to go elsewhere. They were lovely but overall a bad experience.

Not much interaction from host. Not ideal not having a breakfast room and basically eating your breakfast sat on your lap on the edge of the bed.

Типичный домик пригорода Эдинбург, нашли по координатам и фото. Внутри дедушка-хозяин сдаёт пару комнат и очень активен. Атмосферно, будто в гостях. Завтрак приносит прямо к двери. В номере есть всё, кроме кондиционера , даже вода с конфетами. Есть мини холодильник.

Ruhige Lage, Saubere Bettwäsche (immerhin!)

Zimmer und Bad waren nicht sauber. Im Bad lagen gebrauchte Utensilien des Eigentümers. Bei Ankunft wurden wir nicht begrüßt, sondern eher beschimpft weil wir nur 1 Nacht gebucht hatten.

The Host was extremely lovely and welcoming. Great bedroom, provided with all the essentials and more. We had our own private bathroom right next to our room. Upon arrival we were asked what time in the morning we would like breakfast, and speaking of, breakfast was the perfect way to start the day off. We originally booked here due to the easy connection to Edinburgh where we were looking to spend a few days, and if thats all youre after, it will be perfect. BUT, be sure to explore Dunbar, it is a really lovely place, especially down by the coast.

Genuinely the only negative was the lack of a locked door. However this never presented any issues but could see how it may in the future.

Accommodated bikes, clean, comfortable bed, good bathroom

This house is in a great location with a friendly, hardworking and knowledgeable owner who made us feel very welcome. It was warm and comfortable.

There are a few things needing fixed.

The location was nice and quiet, surrounded by nice looking houses.

It was quite dusty on the surfaces, hair in the shower and bathtub, the water pressure was very low and the toilet flush only worked when the shower was off. The toilet brush didn't fit in the toilet and was hard to use. The breakfast was very basic, the cereal containers and the tea pot looked a bit ancient and not properly washed. The mattress was not very comfortable and the bedroom didn't feel private. When we went out for the day and came back, our window was widely opened. some dirty cups and towels had been replaced, which was nice but it just gives a feeling of uneasiness when someone walks into your private guestroom while you're away.

Dreamhaven was absolutely fantastic value for money for myself and my wife. The deluxe room was clean and perfectly acceptable. The ensuite was clean and shower was easy to use with giant spray or medium shower head. Teas and coffees with kettle and small fridge included. The owner brought our breakfast to our door , cafetiere and a pot of tea with 4 assorted pastries , orange juice , fresh milk and outside our room a choice of cereals and yoghurt. Definitely come here again.

There wasn’t anything not to like. Very slight traffic sound first thing in morning but we did have the window open, with window closed it was fine.

Lovely place to stay. Ian was very welcoming and we chatted about the NC500 and places to see. The room was ensuite, clean with refreshments provided. Continental Breakfast was to the room and plentiful. Cereals are readily available and so were yoghurts. It is near a supermarket, a lovely garden centre and petrol station which is self serve and card only.

Really enjoyed our stay at Dreamhaven. Nice comfy bed and clean room and owner was very nice. Thank you!

It is a room in a house, it's very good and it is brilliant value for money . It was exactly as I expected.

Price, good choice of continental breakfast, comfy bed, plenty of hot water, room nice and warm. Would definitely stay again.

There was no sitting area/lounge. It was a matter of only being in one’s room.

The big space, the complimentary tea,water and the cure deciraion in the bathroom was lovely.

The amount of dust and the hair left on the toilet seat from previous travellers. I could tell the toilet wasn’t cleaned.

Path panel not secure ,cobweds,you couldnt lock ur door and the pin number dosnt work so if the people werent in we couldnt get in

The room was ideal and just right for an overnight break for work. The bed was very clean and comfy and breakfast was simple but ideal, croissants and variety of cereals. It was also close proximity to the Pine Marten, ideal for an evening meal, which was nice. Ian showed me my room and left me to it.

The front door was a bit awkward but I got it on the morning I left... ask about this on arrival, it'll make life easier.

Location was excellent, beds are very comfortable lovely to have tea/coffee in the room and breakfast is more than adequate. This was our 2nd stay.

As much as we had a private bathroom it wasn't an ensuite therefore having to leave the bedroom and trying to not disturb others. We have stayed before and maybe we were spoiled with the ensuite.

I wouldn't have listed the room as a deluxe king room. I woke up every time I turned over in the bed due to it creaking.Ensuite bathroom was cold due to the heater not being on & bathroom definitely needs a couple of repairs done .

I liked the location, I liked the greeting I received from the owner on arrival, room was clean comfortable bed, tea coffee etc all tidy. Toilet very clean and to cap it all there was a bath ( as well as a shower ) thankyou.

I honestly couldn't find anything to dislike.
