Great location easy access to the town

Place looking a little tired. Blown bulbs is the lights made the room & bathroom very dark. Needs a good tidy up especially outside.

Our host was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him each morning at breakfast. Quick responses to all inquiries and issues (we were out of soap and let them know and got soap right away)

The room was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was a shambles. No bacon and only a few beans left. We asked for more but it took ages to come out. The Breakfast was cold and the scrambled egg was going brown. I didn't get a text for check in until I arrived and phoned the owner. I found it quite impersonal. I don't think it was good value for money.

Only requirement at property is a solid base for motorcycle stands, gravel is to loose to be safe.

Ein hübsches B&B in guter Lage mit modernen und gemütlichen Zimmern. Alles war sauber und ordentlichen, die Bäder sehr schön und komfortabel. Die Gastgeber sind sehr angenehm, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es wurde ein sehr leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück serviert. Wir bedauern, dass wir nur eine Nacht hier verbringen konnten. Wir werden wiederkommen - Fort Augustus und das Whitehouse B&B sind einen weiteren Besuch wert. Danke für alles!

Fantastic place

Breakfast was lovely and the location into Fort Augustus was ideal.

Being in an annex which was dark and damp. ( (Not in main house) The internet was hit and miss too.

Very close to town - within 3 minutes walk. Plenty of parking space. We had a large and very comfortable room which had an excellent bathroom with shower. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of cold options which suited me. Host was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Available selection of hot buffet was limited to bacon, sausage, scrambled egg and beans. All high quality though.

Keurige B&B heel dichtbij het “centrum” van Fort Augustus, parkeren voor de deur. Nette kamers met badkamer en goede bedden en het is er erg rustig, gastheer en ontvangst is vriendelijk dus helemaal goed..

Oploskoffie bij het ontbijt is voor ons echt niet OK, dus effe echte koffie maken, dat maakt het af ;)

Das Haus wäre hübsch, die Lage zentral. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden.

Als wir ankamen, hatte es keine Handtücher. Nach einem Anruf wurden sie nachgeliefert, offenbar wohnen die Betreiber nicht im Haus. Das Zimmer roch nicht frisch und war nicht ganz sauber. Der Teppich sah aus wie monatelang nicht gesaugt. Hinter der Tür lagen leere Spar-Plastiktüten. Die Tische beim Frühstück waren klebrig, was uns dazu veranlasste, unseren Kaffee auf dem Zimmer zu trinken.

Più che altro è un consiglio, non una cosa che non mi è piaciuta: sarebbe da migliorare la pulizia della moquette sotto il letto, perché contrasta con tutto il resto che era molto pulito e curato. Ciò renderebbe tutto veramente perfetto!

The room is comfortable and nice location.

Nice location, however the facilities were not a good standard. Not even a full toilet roll, we arrived quite oafe that evening and went out to have dinner, so it was quite late when we realised that we needed to be very careful with the toilet roll, at least we didn't have an emergency or needed much, otherwise could be a very embarrassing situation. Not body shower or soap was provided either.

Breakfast very good with a good choose of food, room was great with a nice and clean.

We think it needed an instruction booklet on the shower as it was very modern, and thicker towels. Our room was clean but we did have a a bit of a fusty smell on the pillows.

I liked it all. A stand for my case would have been of benefit as I had to place it on the spare bed and I was concerned it may dirty the duvet cover.

Ruime kamer, koffie en thee op de kamer, genoeg parkeerplek, locatie, tweede ochtend ontbijt was er een aardige kerel die tip gaf voor onderweg.

Gedateerd, schoon maar badkamer beschimmeld en vochtig en muf, knul die er was bij eerste ochtend ontbijt was kortaf, onpersoonlijk, ontbijt was echt zeer minimaal en niet lekker.

I know there wasn't space but only small bedside drawers so had to leave clothes out on the floor , ok for us but if staying longer could be an issue

Tout était conforme à la description. Le stationnement possible dans la cour de la maison. Le petit déjeuner dans la salle commune. Le coin salon à la disposition des clients.

Really handy to the town, perfect spot for us touring on motorbikes as we could park them right outside our room. Facilities were good. Bed was comfortable with nice bedding, bathroom and shower were great. We would definitely stay again.

Bathroom needed a good cleaning , skirting boards, walls and doors not very clean. Bathroom bin very battered and old. A little extra care and cleaning would make a huge difference. Could hear our neighbours coughing etc.

Sehr herzliche Atmosphäre, problemloser Check-in & -out. Geräumiges Zimmer, toller Ausblick auf den See. Besonders toll war der superfreundliche Gastgeber, der auch das Frühstück liebevoll servierte.

Beautiful location; quaint, lovely building. Staff were lovely. Great homemade breakfast with fresh fruit and coffee. Large rooms with private bathrooms. Nice bookcase in dining area full of good books. Easy to communicate with.

The rooms are very dated, as is the furniture and beds. Tables in room were all scratched and water-stained. Mattresses and bedding were old and uncomfortable. Carpet was dingy and stained. Bathroom has only been surface cleaned for a long time—tub and shower walls had filmy residue, there was visible mold in cracks and crevices including the bathroom sink where it attaches to the wall. This B&B has so much potential if they would install new carpets, deep clean everything, and update the mattresses and bedding. For what they charge, they really should have better furnishings for guests.

Wspaniała lokalizacja. Wygodny dostęp do pokoju - z powodu nieprzewidzianych okoliczności dotarliśmy późno w nocy a mimo to nie stanowiło to problemu przy zameldowaniu. Obsługa zadbała też o pyszne śniadanie i wspaniały klimat.

Ceny w Szkocji nie należą do niskich - ale do tego trzeba się po prostu przyzwyczaić ;-)

Ich kann das B&B nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und bemüht, die Lage perfekt und das Frühstück größer als erwartet.

The bed was comfortable.

Being mature I am not used to booking on line. Admittedly I had NOT selected breakfast, however I assumed it would be available in a ''BED & BREAKFAST''. There were no signs around of times for breakfast and when we went for it at 09.10 we were told (in rather an abrupt manner) '' you didn't order breakfast''. No offer of making anything even if we would paid for it. Although there was tea and coffee it would have nice to have a biscuit or similar. The shower stall wasn't particularly clean and the water pressure wasn't very good.

Im Zimmer (2, Twin) war ein schimmlig- muffiger Geruch, der im Badezimmer extrem schlimm war. Konnte lange nicht schlafen und am nächsten Morgen war mir übel. Das Zimmer ist sehr einfach eigerichtet, Möbel etwas abgewohnt, kein Schrank oder ähnliches, kein Schreibtisch. Das nagelneue Badezimmer war wegen Schimmelgestank nicht zu gebrauchen. Außerhalb des Zimmers Teppich etwas ungepflegt und nicht gesaugt. Obwohl es nur zwischen 8 Uhr und 9.30 Frühstück gibt, sollten wir uns am Abend vorher auch noch auf eine exakte Zeit festlegen - alles in allem nicht zu empfehlen und viel zu teuer für das, was es (nicht) bietet.

Nice breakfast that was included in the price. Also a nice host that tipped us to go on the south side of Loch Ness on our way to Inverness. More scenery roads as we were traveling by motorcycles

The location was great, and having convenient parking was a big plus. The accommodation was comfortable and suited our stay well.

On the downside, there was no suitable area for a BBQ. The hot water took a while to heat up, and the water pressure was a bit low. There was also a slight damp smell in the property, and we could occasionally hear some noise.

Die Lage ist gut, in ein paar Schritten ist man an Loch Ness. Das Bett war sehr bequem.

La maison est très bien situé à proximité du centre ville de Fort Augustus, la maison est propre mais il est vrai que l’insonorisation est limite (on entend bcp les portes claquer et les gens marcher au dessus). Le petit déjeuner est bien , il est simple. Il y a un parking à l’arrière de la maison pour la voiture. Nous n’avons vu le propriétaire qu’au moment du petit déjeuner sinon tout se fait en autonomie.

The only positive aspects were the spacious, modern shower, the reasonably comfortable bed, the plenty of power outlets, and the large Smart TV.

The value for money is absolutely unacceptable. For the price we paid per night, I strongly recommend looking for accommodation elsewhere. I assumed the high price was due to the peak season and the fact that Fort Augustus is a popular tourist destination. In reality, there weren't many visitors at this time of year, and the village has very little to offer apart from the view of Loch Ness. The room was dirty, and the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell, probably because it had no window and the extractor fan had clearly never been cleaned—it was covered in dust. The bathroom furniture was also far from clean. There wasn't even a chair or a luggage rack in the room, which made the stay even less comfortable. The carpet also had an unpleasant smell. The breakfast room is aesthetically pleasing, but unfortunately it is constantly filled with the smell of eggs. The breakfast itself was good, but the tables were so sticky that even moving the cutlery was difficult. Overall, considering the price charged and the standard of the property, I would recommend choosing a different place to stay.

Tot automatitzat. No hi ha tracte personal. L’habitació no estava neta del tot. Marques de begudes a les tauletes de nit, pols evident sobre diferents superfícies i fins i tot alguns cabells rossos en els llençols. Bombetes foses. Poca llum en el bany degut a bombetes de potencia extremadament baixa. Una llàstima.

Værelserne var udemærkede og sengene fine for os, vi boede øverst oppe med eget toilet/bad på gangen, det fungerede fint. morgenmaden var almindelig og serveret at værten i en hyggelig atmosfære. vi boede der kun én nat i forbindelse med videre rejse. Stedet ligger i gå afstand til sluserne og Loch Ness, et dejligt område som er roligt og smukt

Skal vi endelige sige noget så er morgenmaden lidt tam, men absolut velsmagende, der mangler noget som er mere interkontinentalt såsom ost og skinke, lidt grønsager måske.

The property looked tired Towels provided were small bath towels and smelt horrible. No hairdryer in room. Breakfast - the cooked food was kept in warm containers to help yourself. Weren’t many choices. A variety of packets of bread you could toast.

Good location with parking for exploring Fort Augustus and Loch Ness. Important to remember this is a B&B not a hotel.

Such places have significant footfall but nevertheless cleanliness really does matter. On arrival, entering via the breakfast room, there was a lot of mess: crumbs around the toaster, museuli on the dispenser. The staircase carpet needs a deep clean and there's scope for more general maintenance and room cleaning. Room was basic even when stated as deluxe, dark and ventilation poor. The hairdryer was not acceptable - very dusty and taped with a plaster. The non personal check-in and out is okay, but for me, it felt rather impersonal.

This is basic accommodation using a self check in process with little host/customer contact. Due to this check in process, the floors & carpets are marked & dirty, the house had a musty stale smell to it. There is one brochure in the room giving tourist information. The road outside is noisy if you like to sleep with your bedroom window open. Breakfast is also a self serve process, & a basic selection, hot food was available. I would not recommend this B&B.
