Íbamos por nuestra luna de miel y les pedí una cena especial. Nos decoraron con globos la habitación y la zona de comer. Fue un detalle digno de mencionar. Teníamos habitación con vistas al bosque, es una habitación sin reformar todavía, recomiendo vistas a la piscina o a la montaña, ya que están nuevas

El acceso es terrible en coche, en tuk tuk es un momento e incluyen un viaje gratis

Hotel con vistas espectaculares, habitaciones muy cómoda y limpia, grande, desayuno muy bueno y personal encantador. Tienen servicio de tuk tuk gratuito para bajarte al pueblo porque está situado un poco más alto, de ahí las vistas. La piscina súper limpia y con vistas panorámicas

Es verdad que a las zonas comunes le falta un poco de mantenimiento pero no supone ningún problema.

Amazing place with a beautiful view! We especially loved the peaceful location and the stunning scenery. The hosts were very kind, welcoming and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A perfect place to relax after exploring Ella. We would happily come back!

As all other reviews say, amazing location, staff and breakfast. Our favourite were the pancakes and hot tea! Tuk Tuk service was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Bed was comfy and place was very clean.

Está ubicado en una zona alta de la montaña, el paisaje es precioso. El hotel te lleva y te trae en su tuk tuk, la bajada es gratis pero la subida son 1000lkr. La piscina es increíble. La habitación muy cómoda, todo muy limpio, agua caliente, productos para la ducha... Por último, el desayuno fue espectacular, pusieron muchísima cantidad. Es un alojamiento totalmente recomendable.

Por poner alguna pega, si no quieres estar pendiente de que te lleven y te traigan no es tu alojamiento.

Ha sido una experiencia increíble. La gente súper amable y atentos con nosotros en todo momento. Las mejores vistas que podíamos tener. El desayuno riquísimo y abundante. Merece la pena ir a este hotel y sin duda volveremos.

Het personeel is heel behulpzaam en er is een service dat ze je met de tuktuk naar de stad brengen. De locatie is namelijk een beetje afgelegen, dus daarom is dit heel handig.

Tolles Hotel mit atemberaubender Aussicht auf einen Wasserfall mit gutem/ausreichendem Frühstück, sehr nettem Personal, schönen Zimmern und tollem Pool. Beim Frühstück bzw. auf dem Balkon kann man viele Tiere (Streifenhörnchen, Pfaue, Vögel, Mungo,...) beobachten. Kostenloser TukTuk Service in die Stadt (Dauer ca. 10min) zum Abholen ist ein fairer Preis von 1000LKR zu zahlen. Wir sind körperlich angeschlagen angekommen und sie haben uns sogar kostenlos ein Cocosnusswasser gebracht, was gut bei Magenverstimmungen ist. Vielen Dank nochmals für eure Gastfreundschaft und euren Bemühungen, uns wieder auf die Beinezubringen...

Alles super. Wer Natur pur erleben möchte, ist hier richtig. Wer Stadtleben und Action braucht, ist hier verkehrt.

Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux. La vue est magnifique.

La chambre normale est petite et un peu vieillotte pour le prix. L’hôtel est très loin du centre donc il faut prendre un tuktuk et la route n’est pas accessible pour les voitures, compliqué pour les pickup des chauffeurs

Tout était absolument fabuleux ! Situé à quelques minutes du centre en tuck tuck (chaque trajet jusque en ville est gratuit!), vous profitez du calme et de la vue imprenable de la jungle.

Excellent séjour ! La vue était tout simplement spectaculaire, la chambre très confortable et très bien entretenue. Le personnel était également très sympathique et accueillant. Une très belle expérience, je recommande vivement cet établissement !

They charge you 1,000LKR for the tuktuk to go up the hotel.

Locatie is op ongeveer 700m buiten het dorp. Dat betekent even een klein stukje lopen over het spoor voordat je er bent. Is goed te doen. Daardoor wel rustig gelegen en mooi uitzicht richting Little Adams Peak en waterval. Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar prima. Kamer was erg mooi en comfortabel.

Voordat je bij het spoor bent moet je ongeveer 4 verdiepingen omhoog over een smal pad. Is best pittig als je het niet gewent bent.

Our room was very modern and comfortable. The views were amazing. The staff were helpful and organised our tuk tuks and transfer. Breakfast was different each morning and was very tasty.

The property is quite a long way up from Ella town but the property was great at organising tuk tuks for us. The pool could do with a bit of work- there were some loose tiles and a big drop which could cause issues.

Bagno un po’ scomodo, asciugamani vecchi. Con cattivo odore. La colazione misera e con poca scelta. Hotel molto in alto rispetto alla via centrale, per raggiungerlo ti offrono il servizio di tuk tuk.

Las vistas de la habitación. Habitación amplia, tipo buhardilla, con ducha, y bañera con hidromasaje. Buena terraza, impresionantes vistas. Piscina con vistas a la montaña. Buen desayuno con vistas.

Las zonas comunes no se corresponden con la calidad de la habitación. No es culpa del hotel, tuvimos que entrar por la parte trasera andando por las vías del tren por derrumbes en los accesos principales debido a las lluvias, pero si es culpa no avisarlo cuando reservas.

Vistas increíbles desde la piscina y la habitación. Se puede llegar al centro en 15-20 minutos andando por un camino al que se llega fácil desde el hotel, por lo que puedes disfrutar de la tranquilidad y vistas que te ofrece el hotel y a la vez del movimiento que hay en el pueblo. El personal es muy atento y tienen servicio de tuk tuk.

Debería de ofrecer servicio de comida al mediodía, aunque fuera algo sencillo, pero tener alguna opción por si llegas de una excursión cansado o estás pasando la mañana en la piscina y no te apetece ir hasta el centro o salir del hotel (solo hay un restaurante que esté cerca).

Personal muy eficiente. Desayuno bueno y variado. La cama es cómoda con varias almohadas. Los chicos te suben y bajan en tuk tuk. Piscina y alojamiento muy limpio en general. Vistas bonitas

La posizione non è comodissima perché per arrivare in città serve il tuk tuk che però è sempre a disposizione.

La posizione è ottima. Distaccata dal centro ma facilmente raggiungibile. Immersa nella natura. Ottima colazione

C’erano alcuni elementi della camera da sistemare. La vasca idromassaggio non funzionava. Alcuni comodini erano molto rovinati. Basterebbe un minimo di manutenzione per renderla eccellente

Everything was great

Hotel fantastico immerso nella giungla appena sopra la città. Svegliarsi la mattina e vedere l’alba dal nostro balcone é stata un’esperienza unica. Pulizia impeccabile e servizio eccellente. La piscina é pulita sempre e attiva anche di notte. Addirittura mi hanno preparato gli hoppers senza glutine a colazione, sono impazzita di gioia. Uno tra i soggiorni più indimenticabili

Ovviamente la cosa della vista si paga un po’ con la distanza dal centro. Per arrivarci bisogna prendere un tuc tuc o se si ha tempo farsi una passeggiata.

Prachtige lokatie. Enkel bereikbaar met Tuktuk maar daar zorgt de cottage voor. Zeer aangenaam personeel. Prachtig uitzicht en zalig zwembad. Volgende keer zou ik wel kiezen voor de kamer met uitzicht op het zwembad. Heerlijk en gevarieerd ontbijt.

Great view Very friendly staff

De lokatie is heel leuk. Het ligt rustig buiten het dorp, maar via het spoor loop je in 10-15 min het dorp in. Dat is ook nog eens een hele mooie wandeling Het zwembadje is mooi en lekker verkoelend. Het ontbijt is afwisselend en goed. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en heeft ook naderhand toen we iets kwijt waren enorm hun best gedaan om mee te zoeken.

Wij hadden kamers op de beneden verdieping, die waren prima met een mooi uitzicht, maar misschien ietsje verouderd.

A magical place, away from the hustle and bustle of Ella, yet only a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride away if you want to enjoy the lively atmosphere of this charming little town. The views are beautiful and incredibly relaxing, while the rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom is perhaps a little too dark and doesn’t quite match the beauty of the rest of the property. We had a really pleasant night’s stay and enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the afternoon. The only downside is the road, which requires a tuk-tuk to reach the hotel (cars simply can’t make it as the roads are too narrow). However, the hotel offers a free pick-up service, which you can use once a day throughout your stay. Highly recommended!

Vriendelijke mensen, mooi uitzicht vanuit de kamer. Prima ontbijt.

Doordat de weg afgesloten was moesten we via het spoor en een zeer steile en slechte trap naar de accommodatie. Kan het hotel natuurlijk niks aan doen. Er was nauwelijks ruimte rondom het zwembad. Allemaal beetje verouderd. Zeker geen 4 sterren.

La route principale était bloquée cependant l'hôtel avait mis en place un tuktuk gratuit pour nous amener jusqu'à l'hôtel et jusqu'au centre ville également. Cadre idéal pour s'échapper de la ville et du bruit et également le personnel était au petit soin

Juste à 6h du matin on était réveillé par quelque chose qui gambadé sur les toits et malheureusement l'hôtel ne peut rien faire pour cela donc je recommande cet hôtel

Bella struttura con piscina a vista sulle montagne circostanti. Camere ampie spaziose con un livello di pulizia medio. La nostra camera non aveva una vera e propria doccia o una tenda per cui dopo la doccia al bagno tendeva a essere un po’ allagato. Nel periodo in cui abbiamo soggiornato noi stavano asfaltando un tratto di strada, per cui è stato complesso raggiungere l’hotel. In generale l’hotel si trova alla fine di una via stretta e ripida raggiungibile solo da tuk-tuk. Il personale è comunque sempre stato molto gentile e disponibile con ottima e abbondante colazione.

La vue est magnifique

The position is great because you are surrounded by nature. It’s a 15 minutes walk from downtown or you can reach it with the tuk tuk. The breakfast was delicious and the people that manage the accomodation too: they helped us with everything. Highly recommended!

We didn’t know the road to reach the cottage was closed these days but we didn’t have any problems to walk, it could be a problem for people with difficulties to walk and do the stairs.

La habitación es muy bonita y las vistas de la piscina preciosas. Está alejado del centro (que para nosotros mejor porque buscábamos tranquilidad); aún así , es fácil llegar y el personal se ofrece a llevarte al centro siempre (aunque el camino es bastante bonito por las vías del tren, lo recomiendo). Todos muy amables. Repetiría sin duda.

Room was clean and spacious, with nice bathroom and lovely shower! Pool was lovely and staff were so helpful! Breakfast was great also and they were very accommodating, serving it v late! Fun walk along the railway to town!

The road was being relaid when we were there which made accessing it initially tough. It did look like this work was being finished though by the end of our stay!

The property is out of town about 5-10 minutes by TukTuk up the hill. Which is great if you want to be out of the craziness of Ella. Staff arrange Tuk tuks to run you up and down as you need. Otherwise it’s a pretty spot. Staff will also organise Tuk Tuk food delivery, but if the offer you rice and curry made by one of the staffs mums - do it - it was amazing.

It’s a relaxing place but if you want to have easy access to Ella central this isn’t for you. There isn’t a huge breakfast range either. Though we didn’t mind. Rooms vary a lot with price.

Hôtes gentils et serviables. Chambre spacieuse et lit confortable. Piscine avec vue sur les collines magnifique. Bon petit déjeuner qui change tous les jours. À 15min à pied du centre par la ligne de chemin de fer. Difficile d’accès en tuk tuk mais l’hébergement propose un service de tuktuk.

Nuisance sonore. On entend les voisins

Das Hotel liegt oben auf einem Berghang. Der Weg hoch war mit unserem kleinen Reisebus nicht zu bewältigen. Das war aber kein Problem. Der Inhaber hat uns (und unser Gepäck) mit seinen 3 Tuk Tuk abgeholt. Der Blick vom Zimmer auf die Landschaft und dem kleinen gegenüberliegenden Wasserfall war einfach klasse. Die Zimmer waren prima. Der Pool war sehr erfrischend. Jedoch wäre etwas mehr Platz für die Liegen drum rum angenehmer gewesen. Es war da doch etwas eng. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker mit frischem Obst und regionalen aber auch internationalem Angebot. Ich hatte bei der Ankunft Geburtstag und es wurde mir dann abends ein Geburtstagskuchen mit Kerzen und Happy birthday Girlande sowie Geburtstagslied beschert. Das fand ich sehr nett. Für die Ausflüge musste man halt immer runter und wieder rauf zum Hotel. Aber der Inhaber hat uns mit dem Tuk Tuk runtergefahren und abends konnten wir ihm eine Nachricht senden, dann hat er uns wieder abgeholt. Diese Fahrten wollte ich nicht missen. Sie waren sehr interessant und lustig. Auch waren sie nicht teuer. Im Hotelpreis ist lediglich eine Anfahrt und eine Abreisefahrt inbegriffen. War für uns ok. Wir würden hier auf jeden Fall nochmals buchen.

La zona es muy tranquila y no está lejos del centro. Tienen servicio de tuk tuk gratuito para bajar a la ciudad (5-10 minutos). El personal es muy amable y muy atento. Hay opción de comer en el hotel y también pedir comida a domicilio de un restaurante donde el envío es gratuito. Nosotros pedimos un día la cena a domicilio y te te traen todo lo necesario a la habitación donde se pueden comer en la terraza. Las instalaciones son prácticamente nuevas y las vistas son espectaculares. El servicio de lavandería también es destacable. Por último, nos llevaron en tuk tuk hasta el tren y nos pusieron transporte para movernos según bajemos del tren para otra ciudad.

L’hôtel est l’écart du centre mais les employés nous propose le service tuk tuk pour 1000 LKR jusqu’au centre d’Ella. Les chambres était correctes, propres et nous avions un belle vue sur les montagnes. Les petites déjeuners étaient top, chaque matin, il était différent.

J’aurai imaginé une salle de bain plus aboutie/finie pour le prix que nous avions payé. Le reste était bon.

La struttura è fantastica, camera molto grande, bagno grande e pulito. La piscina a disposizione una meraviglia, con vista su Ella Rock e piantagioni. Il letto molto comodo e la camera ha la stessa vista della piscina. Colazione buona e giusta rispetto agli standard Sri Lanka.

La posizione è davvero fuori città ed è necessario un tuk tuk per raggiungerla. Fortunatamente la struttura a disposizione dei tuk tuk al costo di 1000lkr per andare e tornare per cena.

The view from our balcony was beautiful. The staff very friendly and accommodating. They drove the Tuk tuks to the Main Street extremely well.

Ligging is fantastisch, vlakbij maar niet in het centrum. Gemakkelijk om via de spoorlijn naar het centrum te wandelen en/of je door de accommodatie te laten brengen of ophalen (via WhatsApp, 1000 Rp per Tuk Tuk). Ontbijt is fantastisch en de medewerkers ontzettend vriendelijk. Kamers zijn ook goed met een héél mooi uitzicht. Ideaal gelegen voor wandelingen naar Nine Arch Bridge en Ella Rock gezien ook deze via de naastgelegen spoorlijn vertrekken. Treinen heb je geen last omdat deze maar een paar keer per dag rijden. Tip: ga s'avonds eten in het kleine restaurant (Savoury Haven) dat boven de accommodatie ligt, top mini locaal restaurant met locale kaart en waar alles vers gemaakt wordt als je toekomt aan een zéér kleine prijs.

Wij boekten 2 kamers, opletten met de Deluxe Kamer met zicht op de tuin. Deze is groot maar heel donker en heeft als enige geen airco. De andere kamer was top. Klein detail maar weinig ruimte rond het zwembad.

It was a very nice experience to stay on top of a mountain above Ella, in the middle of unspoilt tropical nature, with a beautiful view on a waterfall. Nice clean rooms, excellent breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and helpful Free tuktuks to get you into town. Highly recommended!

Wonderful little place. An 'interesting' ride in a tuktuk, but well.worth it. Not possible to walk back into town, but the staff are happy to take and collect. Fantastic views - well worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that make it the perfect place to relax. The private rooms offer a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere, and the swimming pool overlooks the beautiful scenery, making it a great spot to unwind. The breakfast was delicious, and we really appreciated the complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle to the town, which made getting around very convenient. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape away from the noise and crowds of the city, this is the perfect place to stay. We would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience.

The only downside is that the property is located on top of a hill and can only be reached by tuk-tuk. The ride up the steep hill is a bit bumpy and not particularly comfortable, but the breathtaking view at the top definitely makes it worthwhile. The bathroom could also use some updating. There were no hooks or shelves to place toiletries or towels, which made it a little inconvenient. In addition, only one set of towels was provided. It would be much more practical to have separate towels for showering and another set for use by the swimming pool. Although the property is set in a beautiful, peaceful natural environment, the sound insulation could be improved. We could clearly hear conversations and people moving around outside our room through the door. During the night, this occasionally disturbed our sleep. These are relatively minor issues, and they did not take away from our overall enjoyment of the stay.
