Reviewed Sep 1, 2026The Guest House was so beautifully kept, very clean and tidy, bright and homely. I received a very warm welcome, and I was impressed by the quality of the accommodation. There was no road noise and the rest of the guests were quiet so it was a very peaceful stay. I cannot understate how delicious the breakfast was, so much so, I would rebook just to have it again! Overall, one of the best places I have stayed in!

The facilities were spotless and modern. I can only describe the irish breakfast as five star, delicious-:)

Breakfast each morning was fresh cooked and very tasty and generous portions. You have to visit Tom Blake House even if it only to sample David's freshly baked bread!!!!

The floors are a little creaky which is to be expected of an older house, but as we were told it also helps the hosts when we are on the rise to they can get the breakie ready 😉 😀

Reviewed May 28, 2025Tom Blake House is a spectacularly beautiful property run by a lovely family. Avril, Dave and their daughter Maisie were born to be in the hospitality industry. They are warm, friendly and very accommodating. The house could be featured in an Architectural Digest magazine! Our room was beautiful and extremely comfortable with high quality linens. The common areas for guests are lovely. Breakfast was wonderful with an incredible selection. We had the charcuterie and seafood platters for dinner the night we arrived and both were delicious. We really can’t say enough about this B&B. Do yourself a favour and stay here!
