Reviewed Sep 13, 2026I was sent the code to the door to get into the house. The house hade everything we needed & more. Sarah left milk, sugar, teabags, biscuits and a lot more. Plenty of room. 2 bathrooms also the most comfortable bed I ever slept in for a hired house. Everything was perfect.

The setting of the appartment with no bathroom or toilets on the 1st floor. There seems to be a sink problem, the appartment was stinking very bad when we arrives. The kitchen is not really practical.

Personally, as both bathrooms were on the ground floor, it didn’t meet our specific needs. We didn’t realise that this was the case on booking & had to go downstairs from the bedrooms.

Reviewed May 16, 2026It was adorable and the beds were comfy, I do believe the host cares about this but she didnt not appreciate our challenges after the fact at all.
This place, while absolutely adorable was completely freezing - on a cold and rainy night - when we arrived. Once we figured out the heat, it took approximately 5-7 hours to heat up. We were freezing (and we're hardy Canadians!) To add to our challenges, the shower literally did not work. It went from scalding to freezing and neither of us could get a warm or reasonable shower. Add to that the next day was a travel day, flying home to Canada and feeling awful overall, we were not impressed. We told the host and even asked for a refund - this was not a cheap stay - zero accountability. I've travelled all over the world, 27 countries and counting - this was a horrible experience.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025This was our 2nd time staying in this house. It is very clean and comfortable and a short easy drive to Dublin for anyone like us heading to the zoo.
Upstairs is very hot at night which we knew from our last stay so we kept windows open and brought a small electric fan for each bedroom. It wouldn't stop us from staying here again though.

Reviewed Jan 13, 2025Sarah was a spectacular hostess, she went above and beyond for sure. We arrived to fresh brown bread, jams and all the makings for crisp sandwiches! Sarah also had some fresh fruits, milk and other bits. Everything was absolutely flawless, the kitchen and baths were well stocked, just such an adorable place. We loved all the special touches, and Sarah was so responsive through our trip. We will absolutely be visiting again!
