Bective Street Accommodation

I had a very positive experience at Bective Street. The accommodation host happened to be around and was very welcoming and kind, giving directions to local facilties and explaining the adjacent and super convenient car parking. The room was spotlessly clean with an excellent shower. Location very convenient for town centre. Highly recommend Bective Street!

The location is good but if you are the front can be noisy

A lot of traffic noise early in the morning which may be only a problem if you are the front of the property

Great location in Kells for restaurants and pubs, shops for supplies right nearby. Street parking right out front. Bed super comfy. Home appears to be freshly painted and well cared for. As many have written, Amelia was lovely. And she’s well thought of in the area. Sorry. I didn’t take any photos.

This may seem trivial but there was no table to make some thing to eat on I used the window ledge and the tall dresser for my sandwich making station…. It wasn’t really that bad but a few utensils like scissors and a set of knives and forks would help. The owner could push the bed over a bit and likely could get a table in against the wall. Trivial but would improve the experience.

Really lovely place! Really lovely lady greeted me. It was super nice and flexible checking in, the bed was really cozy and the room was perfectly clean. Bathroom was attached for me and it seemed modern enough. Very easy to check in and out. Accommodation was right in the heart of Kells and I got recommendations of where to eat from the host which was nice :) Thank you for a lovely one night stay!

All was good! There's no kitchen (as far as I know) so that's probably good to now. Also a little bit of a narrow staircase up to the rooms, so be aware if you're in a wheelchair or have troubles with narrow stairs or lots of luggage. But otherwise honestly I liked everything, I have nothing to complain about!

Amelia was a great host and gave us great tips for the area. The room was comfortable, clean, and perfect for our short stay.

Property very close to the road. Had window open because of weather very noisy traffic could hear conversations of people coming from pubs. Maybe look for room at back of Property next time.

Die Freundlichkeit der Vermieterin Es stand ein Wasserkocher Tee Kaffee Wasser und Kekse bereit. Das Bett ist recht gut, allerdings mit Winterzudecke.

Das Haus steht direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße, es ist schon älter. Das Badezimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber.

Owner was lovely. Had the room ready for us earlier than expected. I would recommend to anyone staying in Kells.

Amelia and Jim’s place in Kells was exactly what I needed—a peaceful escape from the busyness of Dublin while still being perfectly located for exploring the Hill of Tara and Newgrange. They were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. Due to a flight delay, I arrived a day late, and they generously offered me an extra night to make up for the one I missed, which meant so much. Their hospitality truly reflects the warmth and kindness I’ve experienced here in Ireland. Thank you both so much—I’m so grateful for my stay, and if I’m ever back that way, I would absolutely love to return. ✨

Perfect. Basic reasonable accommodation while attending function in Kells town, just 8 to 10 minute walk from nearby hotel.

Ottimo posto, proprietaria simpatica, camera e bagno spaziosi. Angolo per la colazione con caffè, tè, due bottigliette d'acqua, due biscottini, semplice, efficace. Parcheggio facile da trovare davanti o nelle vicinanze.

Mi sembra che qualche punto il materasso del letto era troppo morbido, abbiamo comunque dormito bene.

It was a clean room ideal for a weekend break where I could get my head down. It is in an ideal location in Kells and had facilities for making a drink. The room was warm and comfortable for those who like that but for me, it was well ventilated having two window in the bedroom that could be opened. The owners are very nice and were very helpful as I was late getting to the location and I had to ring them to find out where it was.

The room was a little tired but I am not the sort that wants chocolates on my pillow at night, so it didn't bother me!

Amelia was lovely she met us with the keys abs showed us the room. The room was lovely nice comfortable bed. And the location was great in the middle of town and nice and quiet!

Very comfortable and tea/coffee, biscuits all provided along with a kettle and milk.

It was difficult to find as there is no signage. But I knocked on several doors and eventually;ly someone pointed me in the right direction. Also, the contact number you provide does not go to the person who does the letting.

Very friendly owner and room was comfy also in the centre of town which was great would definetly go there again

Amelia was very pleasant and welcoming. She recommended Jack's, a restaurant nearby, where I had a delicious meal, and kindly put a parking ticket on my car outside when I overslept. The bed and duvet were very comfortable and warm. I'd had a long day of travelling with another before me so it all suited me very well.

Because of Storm Éowyn power had been off so we were cold. That was unavoidable. Otherwise would have been all 5 stars.

Thanks to helpful staff in helping us get settled and find a place to eat. Couldnt recommend highly enough.
