The Staff . Very friendly and helpful.
The endless noise from the bar downstairs. Our bedroom door was open when we returned at 11 pm. Pillows were severely hard , very uncomfortable
A beautiful historic pub in a lovely location.
Very nice room and comfortable large bed. Staff welcoming and.very helpful.
Breakfast was great plenty for the price..
No tv in room,no hot water in shower.hotel id old and dated really needs a update..
Locarion ok but nothing to do in the village
No tv in room, wifi not working.
Gorgeous
Great staff. Yummy breakfast. Comfy bed. Shower was fantastic.
Interesting mix of old and classy, a bit dated, and newly refurbished.
Perfect stay with welcoming staff and very comfortable room.Breakfast was delicious.
needs internet upgrade
Felt very family vibes and it had such a sweet breakfast room. I loved all the little hallways and the decor.
We would’ve liked better weather!!
Calma
Comfortable stay and very friendly staff and good location.
Decor could be updated
The room was lovely nice bar
Un hébergement très classe (vintage). Petit-déjeuner extraordinaire. Un bar bien fréquenté. Bonne ambiance !
The host and staff of Meath Arms Country Inn are friendly, warm and welcoming. The room was clean, beds - comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. We enjoyed our breakfast, there was a good selection of breakfast items to choose from and our Irish fry was lovely. The guest house is pet friendly and our wee dog was made very welcome also!
Gorgeous Victorian decor and beautiful property with a maze of rooms, stairways and patios. The cozy interior with Paddy’s pub open for business and the welcoming exterior of garden, patio, picnic tables and hillside makes for a lovely stay in every way. The owners and staff are absolutely delightful and helpful and excellent in providing a superb breakfast and accommodating anyone’s needs in the friendliest manner. It’s also located quite within teach of anything you need in the town central.
Everything was wonderful, clean space etc. The host was VERY accommodating to pick us up and drop us off and even help arrange transportation to our next town. The food is EXCELLENT!
Without a car it’s just a bit too far out (3miles) to access the village after hiking all day.
Very nice well kept room with recently renovated ensuite. Very clean and confortable bed.
No wifi in the room
Very well located in the town . Building has lots of character
Geezer at front desk was very accommodating. Great dude.
Great value for money. Lovely rooms and showers. Great pints of guinness downstairs too.
Didn't realise so many steps to room . Quite a few cobwebs in room. Didn't like steps down into bathroom, again nearly fell Sofa in room so low and nothing handy , more shabby than chic. WiFi signal almost non existent Pictures of hotel made it look much better than reality Woke at 5am with heavy lorries going past bedroom window Definitely not a modern hotel and not value for money No parking except on street and it a busy main through fare!
Old fashioned charm
Very quiet
Amazing location, absolutely lovely little village with good access to surrounding area. Very good freshly made Irish breakfast, don't miss out on it. Clean rooms with a big bathroom.
No dedicated parking, but plenty of room on the surrounding public roads.
Big room, comfortable bed, super breakfast
The staff were very friendly and the room was lovely. Tasty breakfast!
Offered and provided breakfast without being told there would be a charge was very unusual.
An olde style country Inn with a homely feel. Staff and locals were friendly and there was a good atmosphere in the bar.
A restaurant would have been a bonus but the included cooked breakfast in the morning was really tasty
The staff we friendly and curious.
Historical value.
I was happy with everythingn, staff very nice
I dd not have any complaints
Good location attention to detail, very helpful, niall went above and beyond.
No tv in room and very hot
Comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast cooked to order.
Would be great if there was a restaurant for dinner.
Překrásné, stylové a komfortní pokoje.
Very happy with the room
Staff, chilled vibe
One key to room so couldn't lock it. Had to wait for partner to return
Comfy bed, great breakfast, lovely friendly staff. Nice bar with live music.
No evening food but there is a takeaway across the road and the hotel are happy for you to eat the takeaway in there.
Easy to find, clean and had a lovely restaurant and a lively bar and beer garden.
Only a few issues, had to park out on the street, there’s No private car parking.Had no internet in my room.
Very nice comfortable room. Staff were very nice and friendly. Accodation was pet friendly. Lovely breakfast. Would definetly return for another visit. The area had lovely walks.
There was no restaurant.
Shabby
Staff, accommodation, breakfast all awesome. don't hesitate Enjoy
Shower was a little to hot.
Comfortable bed good breakfast
Looks tired. Needs the windows cleaned . Needs the fire alarms checked Pe
It was clean and the location was lovely, traditional bar
Double Bed was small and there was no one around in the morning so we didn’t get breakfast
Very old, historic buildings with soul and atmosphere. Great location in the middle of the town surrounded by bakery, restaurant, two shops, petrol station and chipper. Clean room and bathroom. Pets friendly. There’s nice internal gardens that you could walk the dog or even let them run around. Great location close to all touristic attractions, hiking and walking trails.
Lack of parking. You have to find the spot on the street.
Enjoyed our stay there and found Niall on reception so helpful. Nothing was too big of an issue.
The deluxe room was spacious, loved the huge bed and lots of pillows. The furniture complemented the look of the hotel and the authentic fireplace, doors and windows had old world charm. The breakfast was good, plenty of tea and coffee. The ensuite was big. Great location in centre of Aughrim, easy checkin and checkout
The door of bedroom did not always stay shut, we had to lock it. The noise through the room sash windows and through the walls from the bar downstairs where a function was on sounded like people talking in our room, we had interrupted sleep as room was also across from the late night takeaway. The layout of the furniture in the bedroom was poor, the dressing table was too big for where it was placed and the wardrobe should have been located on wall behind the door and not as you walk in the door. I could only find 1 socket that had an extension lead plugged in for charging phones and hairdryer
Breakfast was lovely full Irish and the hospitality was friendly and welcoming
Lovely old hotel with great character
It was a very good experience, lovely friendly staff. Great facilities me and my family loved the area and the facilities
I booked a single room and was pleasantly surprised by my stay. Bed was comfy, amenities were good. Noisy pub downstairs
Lovely and cozy!
It was just quite noisy with a lot of music on downstairs until about 00:15am and there was a candy wrapper and an old sheet stuffed into one of the bedside drawers which made me a small bit worried about the cleaning. Must have been from previous guests but generally lovely stuff.
Beautiful old hotel, lots of atmosphere and gorgeous antique furniture
A minor issue really, but there is no parking at the hotel and the evening I was there it was quite busy. It all worked out well in the end.
Property was wonderful. There were chickens and the garden is beautiful. Great location for a wedding nearby. The owners were very kind and helpful as well.
Tout était très bien.
RAS.

Great location beautiful room.
No bottled water for tea. Used the tap to boil the water the tea was rank I have to say. It wouldn’t make me not stay here, I’d just bring my own water and tea bags
The internet did not reach the room. I had to sit in the hallway or at the bar, where only a few locals were present. Despite the claim that they have a restaurant, this was not the case. The next day, I was supposed to get breakfast from 8:30 AM, but there was no one around. There are no restaurants in the village, only a fish & chips shop and a Chinese takeaway (which was actually good). I was told I could get an invoice the next day from the owner—but then he actually needs to be there.
Me and my partner really enjoyed the homely feel we got from the place. Very comfortable.
Friendly place with helpful stag and a nice location.
There was no hot water for showers in the afternoon before we went out for a meal.
Breakfast was good and the bed was very comfortable.
The hotel itself is in need of a little bit of TLC and was feeling a wee bit tired.
Practical, functional and everything we needed for an overnight after a wedding.
The bathroom door couldn’t close properly. We arrived back late, so not so much of an issue, but the noise from the pub and on the street would have kept you awake until the early hours.
