Super nice receptionist, great arrangement and very helpful.
Good at all.
Exceptional breakfast! Really nice stuff, though, they could've provided more information about the shuttles to the resorts. They only gave info regarding one hotel. Very cozy place, busy, full of ppl. Very comfy bed linens and warm blankets.
The room was so so so dusty!! Looks clean other than that, but very dusty!!
The staff were fantastic!, they really made the stay great, they were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything worked. Good location too, short walk into town or home from Happo after skiing.
Room was small and the mattress was firm, but this is Japan so was expected.
Staff were amazing! So helpful made us all feel so welcome. Was sad to leave!
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they made the stay fantastic. Even considering we arrived much earlier than check in we were able to keep our bags within the lodge.
Loved the location, walkable distance from the main part of town. The hotel had regular shuttles in the morning that made it easy to get around, especially to the ski fields. Breakfast was great every morning, and all the staff were lovely and more than happy to help with recommendations and getting around. The rooms were small but very cosy and comfortable, no complaints there. Loved the common spaces, always kept warm, and liked the fact that had a separate dry room to store any ski gear you may have. Reminded me of and old school BnB experience, highly recommend.
The mattress on my bed was a little bit hard for me, but that’s just my personal preference, no real complaints.
Good location, friendly crew working there

Friendly staff, the communal area was cosy, and the Condo was brilliant. Breakfast included was great. Shuttle to connecting buses great also.
The fact we couldn’t get a shuttle back to the lodge in afternoon. Long hazard’s walk with ski gear was a bit challenging.
The complimentary shuttle to pick us up and tea/ coffee for guests .
The small bathroom . Some of the employees could be more smiley to guests and greet them .

The place was very clean and rooms were very comfortable. Excellent, functional kitchen with all utensils and equipment of very good quality. Living area was bit congested but enough for 3-4 people.
The location/entrance was bit confusing and amid a lot of greens, particularly dark in night (possibly because the lodge and some surrounding buildings were under maintenance/re-construction due to off season). Better guidance must be provided in form of maps, etc. on booking page. The big window and glass door were without blinds reducing the privacy of the space. The layout of bathroom/toilet was a bit inconvenient. Converting to a washlet toilet would improve the convenience.
The location was ok. The breakfast was good. The lodge has a lot of potential.
Staff and site were pleasant enough. Rooms were very small with lacking storage facilities so living out of a suitcase which causes room space issues. If felt more like a student house than a lodge/hotel set up. Communication could have been better from the team, it did feel we had to work to get information from the staff. Admittedly, the staff were all finishing their season to go home back to Australia so I would say this was the focus during our stay and not necessarily the guest. However, this should not have been the case.
Breakfast and shuttle services were great! The location was good, not far from Happo Kosukai slope. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Good value for money and in walking distance to restaurants and lifts.
Rooms are quite small but ok given the value proposition. No vibe in the common areas. My watch mysteriously disappeared from my room while I was out skiing. The staff didn’t seem to take it seriously. This brought my rating down from 7 to 4.
Location and value as well as friendliness
Great staff, good breakfast, pretty good location. quiet and friendly. Comfort bed.
Very small bathroom. no room service over the week I was there & no food available other than breakfast.
The location is excellent within Hakuba Village, the place is generally clean, and towels are provided.
The serving speed for breakfast was extremely slow. My friends and I ordered six breakfasts at 7:05. By 7:40, only four dishes were served, and the remaining two didn’t arrive until 8:10, meaning that two people waited for more than an hour to get their breakfast—unbelievable. The breakfast itself was delicious, but such slow service seriously impacted our skiing schedule, which was very disappointing.
Staff are excellent. Good location
Rooms are small
Excellent staff, use of lounge and dining areas, private shuttle bus to town and some ski resorts. Breakfast included and very tasty - options changed each day.
Very firm beds, the walk back up the hill. Tiny bathrooms.
The place was, well equipped, with ample communal space, hangout couch, fire place, the breakfast was ok but generous, free shuttle was a nice touch. Staff were all nice, welcoming and English speaking.
Location is walking distance to the center of town but not close enough if you carry your ski gear but not far enough to wait on the bus, plus it up hill. The walls were not sound proof, you can hear every move from other rooms but the loudest was the plumbing when water runs through it.
Location, good breakfast
The bed was soooooo hard
Mojo Lodge had a very relaxed vibe and was close enough to everything that you could walk wherever you needed to go if needed.
The beds were very firm
Everything
Nothing
The staff was very friendly and easygoing from the very beginning. And the location is great - central to most of the mountains, hot springs and restaurants.
I thought the general upkeep and cleanliness of the place could have been better, especially the entrance where there was just a mess of shoes and slippers all over the place. The dry room was in a similar condition.
We really enjoyed our autumn stay at Mojo Condo, which is a self-contained part of Mojo Lodge. We hadn't realised that the rest of the lodge would be closed during 'Green season', so it was slightly disconcerting to find everything so quiet when we arrived. But the quiet turned out to be a positive as it meant our stay turned into a lovely meditative mountain retreat. Just us, the local monkey tribe (cute babies) and the bears (which we only encountered as fresh paw prints on the gravel road). Once we'd made ourselves at home, Mojo staff came to find us to make sure that we had everything we needed, including shuttles to get groceries etc. And when I got sick, they helped out with info about English-speaking pharmacists and doctors. I really appreciated that. The condo itself was great, with all the amenities we needed, including coffee and tea and water. Very comfortable beds, plush linen, and a great shower. The surrounding forest is truly beautiful, and we loved gazing at the yellows and reds of the autumn trees from our bed. Hakuba in autumn is so worth a visit.
One thing to note is that Mojo Lodge is slightly tricky to find, even with the aid of Google Maps. We had a hilarious trip with a local taxi driver trying to locate it, but we got there eventually after a few turns up the wrong dirt roads. For reference, Mojo Lodge is directly behind Sekkasai Lodge, which is easy to see from the road. Another thing to be aware of is that much of Hakuba is closed down in autumn, so the selection of restaurants is pretty slim. But the Lawson is always open for supplies, and the gondolas and chair lifts run, so you can access the surrounding ridges for breathtaking views. Well worth it.
The staff were super friendly and helpful! There's fresh baked goods and bacon for breakfast! And plenty of fun stuff like board games to do in the evening or rainy days.
The room was much smaller than what I expected. Basically just enough to fit the bed in. There's no AC either, just the fan. But considering the price is lower than the average in that area, I think it's fair.
Friendly staff
Overpriced for the green season. Old fashioned guest house Uncomfortable coil mattress. Mattresses are too big for the bed Frame ... It feels like you gonna fall. Curtains are old and useless. Smelly genkan , no AC is okay but you need to let fresh air in the house/ventilate ! The picture looks nice but the reality is different.
The living room
great location halfway between Happo village & Wadano
staff could have been more accommodating with shuttle transfers, sometimes would rather sit on their phone.
The staffs were very friendly, picked us up from Happo bus station even after multiple last minute change on time. They also dropped us off at the station after check out.
The heater in the room was not working. And the room was freezing
Staff were excellent, Hayji every happy to shuttle us around, pick up/drop off etc. Kitchen staff very friendly also
Heater in bedroom was poor, needed resetting often and didn’t get very hot Our room with two single beds was very small even by Japanese standard
Heated flooring downstairs, super comfortable bed (some might find it firm), and not far from most places. Breakfast and hospitality was superb, the staff working in the kitchen and running the shuttle were extremely helpful, polite, and made great conversation. Cheers to Remy!
The room size was awful, even for Japan. Two skinny people were tripping over their luggage and shimmying around each other in the cramped space. I smashed my shins and toes several times during our stay. At a minimum, the oversized (but short) queen bed needs to be moved to the far wall to give even a bit of space. We honestly would have preferred they removed the entire ensuite and let us shower in a communal bathroom so we could at least access our luggage properly. It was so cramped even other guests were packing their luggage in the hallway.
Everything was what I expected. You get what you pay for it is very good value for money the ensuite rooms are tight but like I said it is not a 5 star hotel and meet our expectations. Will happily stay there again.
Not much you can change as the rooms are already build but they are very tight. If you are looking at spending time in your room only this would not be the place to stay, however they have a very nice downstairs area.
Nice living room and served good breakfast.
Dirty Bed Sheet.
Everything was easy, people, location, food, facilities, logistics

Breakfast was excellent and staff was super friendly. 10/10 recommend for a stay.
Staff were very happy to help, the breakfast was good and overall the stay was really nice, only a short walk down to the village and shuttle busses to get you to the mountain each day very accessible.
nil
The staff is really what makes this place great. They are super kind and considerate, and will help you in any situations within their efforts.

Location was perfect and the lodge feel - cozy and relaxing. AG was so accomodating throughout our stay and made it incredibly easy and the chefs were great every day
Tiny tiny room for two people to stay in and the bed was very hard
We are a family of 4. We were given 2 adjoining rooms with a private bathroom, which were suitable for our stay. Breakfast and location were very good. Nothing fancy but the breakfast served each day was different and very tasty. Location is also very near the happo bus terminal and happo ski resort.
The lodge seemed short-staffed at times because there were occasions that there was no one at the reception for a few hours during the day. Other than this, we had a pleasant experience.
Staff were friendly. Shuttle service useful
Rooms could have had clean towels more regularly and cleaned during our stay. Breakfast was cramped. The lodge was a walk from all facilities.
Location in Wadano was so lovely in the forest with the snow. Peaceful and quite, but easy 10 minute walk to Happo One Village. Great value for money, breakfast was great considering the low price, staff were friendly, informative and helpful. Small rooms but absolutely to be expected, as per booking.com website. Would definitely stay there again.
Not alot really.... was looking forward to sitting around the fire, but it wasnt lit whilst we were there.
The staff were fantastic! Extremely helpful and friendly. Every morning breakfast was served within 5 minutes of arriving in the dining room. They drove us to the snow resort every morning and dropped us off at dinner in the evening. It truly felt like a home away from home at the Mojo Lodge which was perfect for our Christmas stay.
The beds were quite hard and the pillows were not very full / comfortable.
It had a friendly atmosphere.
That it was run by teenagers. One of the long stay guests was more helpful than those actually working there.
Warm and welcoming, nice breakfast and super friendly helpful staff
All I. All it is worth the money, at least because of the location. It is just five minutes to Hakuba village and they have a lot of places to go to. They offer a Gondola shuttle wich comes in very handy! The concept of this lodge type accommodation was new to us. We had a double room with a private bathroom. It was much smaller than we estimated it to be, but comfortable mattress and very nice sheets and blanket. The bathroom was as small as a camper van, but we experienced this at other hotels in Japan too. Sometimes it was cold in the bathroom, because there was no heater. We want to point out, that we are really thankful that the stuff was so friendly and always willing to help! We hope Noah gets better soon. He’s a very good chef! Thanks to the manger who was taking us to the gondola in the morning and in the evening.
We expected it to be a little prettier on the outside, because the photos online were taken a few years ago. There was skuffolding laying around and stuff like that, could have been cleaned up easily before the season starts. Maybe the owner could invest some money to get rid of the ripped couches and make this lodge as pretty as it probably was 5-6 years ago when the Photos were taken…. Our double room was really really small (8-10m2), it was hard to lay out our luaggage and open it to unpack. There is a very small amount of space for your clothing.
The staff were amazing! It was before peak season when we went and they were great with helping us find places to eat and driving us around. They were simply amazing and friendly people and we enjoyed getting to know them during our stay. The lodge had a cozy vibe and was comfortable and homely.
Staff were so nice and accomodating made the stay so much fun and lovely
