Small clean and comfortable cabin . Mia the host was lovely and being located on a large property gave it a tranquil vibe . We had Hobbiton evening tour and banquet booked and this accommodation was perfectly located and very close .

Genuinely one of the nicest bed and breakfasts I've ever stayed at. Great location, cosy and warm little lodge. Good location, only a short drive to Hobbiton. Mia was an absolute legend and made us some vegan bread and chia pudding for our breakfast, and bought us dairy free milk. Beds were comfy and warm, extra hot water bottles included too. Lots of board games and books as well. 10/10 will definitely be back!

Great location if you are going to Hobbition. The host are lovely and the homemade bread for breakfast is delicious. Would highly recommend.

Sehr komfortable Unterkunft, etwas außerhalb von Matamata. Unser Studio war sehr nett eingerichtet und natürlich sauber, es hatte eine ausgezeichnete Ausstattung. Auf der Terrasse konnte man abends lange draußen sitzen. Das bereits abends vorbeigebrachte Frühstück war ausreichend, mit frischem Obst und in Teilen zuviel (Müslisorten, Brotaufstriche, etc.). Vielen Dank an Mia und Michael, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The people in the room next door snuck a few kids in when they shouldn’t have but the host was so good. Apologising, even tho they were tricked as well.

The accomodation itself was immaculate, the bed comfortable and the breakfast lovely. The grounds were so lovely and kept so well. We loved sitting outside with a glass of wine overlooking the walnut tree and other fruit trees.

We had a wonderful stay here. The suite is cozy, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, close to everything in Matamata. Mia is a very kind and friendly host who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended if you are visiting Matamata!

The accommodation is very comfortable, with the host making us feel extremely welcome. Its close proximity to many great places for site seeing is an added bonus. The breakfast was amazing and far more than we could eat.

The experience was all around wonderful, breakfast was so good I had a second one.

The mattress is slanted on one side, but this is only a small note on an otherwise wonderful stay!

The owners welcomed us on arrival along with their friendly dog Hunter. They had already set up breakfast for the next morning inside which was a yummy range of bread, juice, cereal and oatmeal cookies. The place was very clean and tidy and you can’t miss a nice walk around the property through the big garden out the back

10/10. Lovely little B&B. Only 15 min from Hobbiton. Very clean. Comfy beds. Mia is very responsive. There was homemade bread and other foods. Beautiful and quiet property that looks great at sunrise.

The TV was having some trouble connecting to WiFi but Mia tried to fix it. The technology is probably just outdated, she mentioned she will likely be upgrading it. Not a major issue whatsoever.

Super Unterkunft für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp in Richtung Hobbiton. Bietet alles was man braucht inklusive tollen Frühstücksservice.

Eine Herdplatte in der Küche wäre vielleicht noch ganz praktisch, aber ist kein Negativpunkt.

The place was very welcoming and spotless clean! Mia is a great host, helpful and friendly. There is a beautiful garden in front of the lodge, and the area in general was so green! It is in close proximity to Hobbiton Movie Set, about 15 min by car, which was also really convenient.

Потрясающее место! Вероятно, что бронируют номера те, кто собираются посетить Хоббитон, и я была одной из них, а потому очень удобное расположение - 20 минут на машине. Жилье с гостинной, оборудованной кухней, спальней. Ванная комната новая, есть шампунь и прочее. Включен завтрак: домашний хлеб, всевозможные намазки, фрукты, йогурт, хлопья с молоком. Но главное - это сад! Большая территория с зеленым газоном, цветами, деревом грецкого ореха, апельсиновым деревом и другими, есть небольшой пруд с лотосами! Самые приятные воспоминания! Большое спасибо!!

Second stay here as lovely as the first. Mia and Michael are so welcoming, the studio is beautiful, clean and comfy and the breakfast is spot on. Didn't get to do my archery practice but that was entirely the weather's fault!

Alles. Lage: mitten in einem toll angelegten Garten. Ausstattung: alles, was man benötigt, sogar ein scharfes Obstmesser. Einrichtung: komfortabel und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Vermieterin: sehr sehr nett und sympathisch. Wir wären gerne viel länger geblieben.
