The room was lovely - it was very comfortable, very clean and well presented. It had all the extra touches and great attention to detail, which made it very relaxing. The location was good and close to the main shopping and dining precinct. We found the motel and the room to be very quite. Would of liked to of stayed more than one night and if we return to the area, we would definitely re-book at this motel.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

The location is great, a short and pretty walk to all the restaurants, with a grocery store right across the street. The room was spacious and so so clean. Our hosts were very friendly, especially Hillary who upon hearing the local taxi rates drove us to and from the Hobbiton at a much more reasonable price. Cleanest rooms we have stayed at on our trip, including fancy hotels, and friendly service everyday. My husband and I stayed here for our wedding, and the days after, and would gladly do it again! We highly recommend this motel, for it's room size, cleanliness, location, and friendly and helpful staff. The laundry service is also reasonably priced and great if you are traveling over a few weeks time and need clean clothes.

When we checked in we didn’t feel all that welcomed but when we checked out we met the cleaning lady and she is super friendly!

Staff tried to charge for everything. Even things that Booking.com confirmed were free. Room was booked for 6 people, an email from the motel tried to charge us for a cot, that Booking.com said was free, and upon arrival we were told we were going to be charged for the sofa bed also. Very un impressed with this.

Long walk from downtown and bus station. We got pretty tired walking back and forth. We didn’t rent a car so it’s fine if you have a car - but not that great if you don’t

The property is good , nice and clean

I booked 2 family rooms for my big family (5 adults 3kids 1 infant ), and in the description there are 2 single beds, one queen bed and one sofa bed in the room. When we check in, we already filled up the forms to show them how many adults and how many kids for each rooms, and they said will not charge the room fee for the infant. But at the end, they charged us 45 dollars as we used the sofa bed. According to their reply, they said our Booking only booked three adults and one child per room, and the sofa bed couldn't be used. Now that we've used it, there's an extra charge. The problem is, we already paid the maximum price for four people per room when we booked. We were also asked to fill out a form at check-in indicating the number of people in each room. No one told us at the time that using the sofa bed would incur an extra charge. After explaining the situation, they insisted on charging us. As we needed to continue our itinerary, we didn't argue further. I probably won't go to this motel again; I've blacklisted it.

The room was really nice, with a comfy bed and spacious, well-appointed bathroom. The owners were probably the most helpful, welcoming, and friendly people we met on our trip. They really elevated our stay and I'd absolutely stay here again.

A bit of road noise, but honestly less than expected.

Convenient, good value and clean

Room was really spacious and had all facilities that we needed. Bed was comfy and although all units were connected we still felt as though we had a lot of privacy. Staff were lovely.

Shower screen had a leak and water was pooling behind shower screen around toilet. I had informed them and seemed like they already knew about this.

Clean and tidy, convenient location with New World across the road. Spa bath was lovely and great water pressure in the shower! Lovely service from all of the staff.

TV was lagging and reception was bad. Unwatchable. Wifi constantly dropped in and out and the smokers area was mostly occupied by other guests having a BBQ/alfresco dinner. Would be nice to have those separate.

To był jedyny motel gdzie w ciągu 4 tygodniowej podróży po NZ zażądano od nas podania danych karty kredytowej w celu zabezpieczania pobytu mimo że pokój był opłacony. Nie chcieli zrobić blokady na karcie, chcieli dane karty wprowadzić do sytemu, na co się nie zgodziliśmy ze względu na duże ryzyko scamu. W efekcie odmówiono pokoju. w końcu uzgodniliśmy depozyt w postaci gotówki i otrzymaliśmy pokój. Następnego dnia pan mie przekonywał że takie wymagania odnośnie karty sa w każdym motelu. w NZ. Nigdy cześniej ani później nikt od nas tego nie wymagał, jedynie raz zrobiono nam blokadę na karcie (co jest OK)

Velice pohodlné, prostorné ubytování s jídelním stolem a dvěma televizemi. Vířivou vanu jsme nevyužili, sprchový kout a WC v jedné místnosti ale čisté a funkční. V kuchyni byla kromě běžného vybavení i myčka.

Best equipped motel room I’ve been to. Comfortable, clean with very obliging staff. Totally recommend.

Very easy access and parking with our van in front of the rooms. The hosts were very friendly. The nearby centre has nice restaurants; breakfast was wonderful there. Everything in the rooms was clean and complete. We really enjoyed our stay and would book there again without any doubt!

Pas op! Dit motel noteert al je creditcard gegevens, inclusief de persoonlijke cvc-code aan de achterzijde en zet die gegevens in hun computersysteem. Dit is ongepast en wettelijk niet toegestaan! Daarnaast is de toon in de communicatie zeer business-gericht en niet begripvol. Kom je na sluitingstijd (20.00u) zonder geldige reden in hun ogen te laat opdagen, vervalt de Boeking en ben je je geld kwijt, zo staat er te lezen. Dergelijke zaken hebben wij werkelijk nog nooit meegemaakt en vinden we uiterst ongepast.
