Pleasant welcome by host. room clean all we needed for one night. Tea coffee in room bottles of water biscuits. Shower good with free shower gells etc, quiet room. Breakfast really nice and plenty full and hostess lovely.

Pillows little bit lumpy but that said it's a preference that we have full filled at home.

I was amazed at the quality of the place, when considering the price paid! The room was modern and spotlessly clean, as was the en-suite bathroom. I had contact with two members of staff, both of whom went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and was comfortable. The breakfast is a proper full English, cooked to order, rather than from a buffet, and staff happily re-filled my coffee and orange juice. The place has a decent car park, too, and is in a quiet area of town, so I felt quite safe leaving my car there overnight.

I stayed on a Friday night, leaving on the Saturday morning, and perhaps it might have been nice, had breakfast not ended at 09.00, and had check-out not been at 10.00. An hour later for both might have been a bit more comfortable, especially if people have been out the night before, but it is a relatively minor niggle, and just meant, that I got to where I was going earlier than I otherwise would have done! It's worth noting, that the venue doesn't offer evening meals, but the staff are more than happy to guide guests to places, which do! I walked to a pub ten minutes away, which served very acceptable Indian food at extremely reasonable prices.

This was the perfect place for us after a visit to the nearby Zoo. Staff were welcoming from the start and we had a lovely stay. Our room was large and had everything we needed, including comfortable beds, tea and coffee making and a decent hot shower. Parking was easy on site. We had a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. I would stay here again.

Floor into bathroom needs attention

The bedroom was so fresh and clean, bedding spotless, bed comfy, had everything we needed, with plenty of coffee and tea. Again the bathroom was also very clean with shower that was so roomy and so clean, plenty of toiletries, clean towels etc. The breakfast was full English with plenty of it. There was also choice of cereals and plenty to drink juices tea coffee.

On arrival Rob meet us at the door, covering everything we needed to know before showing us to our room. He also know about the event we were attending adding to the conversation and making us feel more comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and fresh making a great start to the day. I will be happy to use this tavern again and again.

The pillows where a bit too soft. Could do with a proper chair to sit in for TV. The water was off, I made a cup of coffee and there was a definite scum level in the cup.

Großer Parkplatz, Zimmer in einem klassischen englischen Pub, kleines Einzelzimmer mit Mini Bad aber alles sauber und absolut ausreichend. Abends Gelegenheit für ein paar Drinks im Pub. Klassisches englisches Frühstück mit vegetarischer Option.

Abends zu Essen gibt es leider nichts, aber es gibt Restaurants nicht allzu weit weg (15 Minuten zu Fuß)

Seamless booking process everyone we met and spoke to was really lovely room was clean and tidy would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area. Definitely we be staying there again

very friendly helpful staff. I was very warm in the breakfast room and was shown by the lovely waitress to another table and she opened the door. The next morning, she saved that table for me and had the door already open.

the shower in my room was too hot to use and there was no way of cooling it down.

Didn’t arrive till almost 10 pm as the train was delayed and the local chippie was shut. We could have been better organised if we’d known bar, food etc would be closed by 10.0pm.

Thin walls, could hear another room being violently sick in their toilet for about 30 minutes which interrupted my sleep

The pub always seemed very empty and the location wasn’t very scenic however it had everything we needed and the warmth of the staff made it feel like our home for the weekend.

The bedroom is clean, functional and comfortable. We have always found the hosts to be welcoming and have now stayed at the property on three occasions. The best aspect is the breakfast, which is really nice and altogether is good value for money.

Hotel was welcoming and lovely and fresh and clean on arrival. The room was tidy, clean towels provided and serviceable for what we needed for a couple of days. Access to the hotel was good and staff advised the best way to proceed depending on the time of entry. We unfortunately didn’t make breakfast both days, as we had to be out early, but it smelled delicious!

My bed mattress was slightly uncomfortable and could have been better. Be aware breakfast is only from 7am, which was too late for us to be able attend, but that was no fault of the hotel.

Room comfortable and clean. Met my needs. Breakfast was excellent during my stay. Plenty of choice. Unfortunately they recently stopped doing other meals due to costs which is a shame. However they have a QR code which gives you other suggestions of where to eat locally. Was a little further out of town than I'd realised but still commutable for work purposes. Staff were excellent. Had an issue with Wi Fi but helped and an issue with the key to the room but exchanged for another key quite quickly. Overall a great stay for a great price

Once we checked in we could return late with key to outside door. This was good. Returning from an event at Westo park that finished around midnight.

We managed to get the last parking space at the property. More parking spaces would be nice.

I loved everything about the White Horse, from the friendly and hardworking owners Jackie & Rob, to the comfortable rooms equipped with generous tea facilities and everything else you need. Breakfast was spot-on, fast and cooked to order (I think by Rob) and served by Jackie with warm hospitality. I was upgraded to a bigger room without even asking. From now on I will always stay at the White Horse when in the Telford area.

I had problems with using a laptop as poor internet, fine for phone but laptop didn’t like it at all. Hosts did try to solve it but not happening. Only reason why didn’t put a 10 score!

We stayed here the night before heading to Lilleshall sports centre. Only 16 min drive away. A lovely place, comfortable twin room. Spotlessly clean. The welcome was lovely, very knowledgeable about where to get a take away. The bar area was great, very reasonable drinks prices. Super helpful lady at breakfast with plenty of veggie options for a cooked breakfast. Value for money was brilliant.

Room cold on entry. Barely room to move and wrapped coats round bed legs due to constant bruising from bed legs. Hall and room smelled of disinfectant. Rusty holders in bathroom, nowhere to put towels. Hot food anywhere is a drive away.
