It was a cold weekend- our hosts turned on the heater in anticipation of our arrival back from our reunion. The room was cozy on our return and the bed was very comfortable.

No complaints - our hosts were very accommodating and the room fitted our requirements.

Clean, comfortable and healthy breakfast. Friendly hosts. Separate door to accomodation good.

Just one feather soft pillow perhaps.

Colleen and Leo were lovely, the weather was terrible when we arrived but they made us feel welcome and comfortable. The room had everything we needed and was lovely and warm.

The breakfast was excellent with cereal, fruit, toast etc in the room. The view was out across the lawns and it was quiet and peaceful. The price was very good. and the hosts were very friendly.

Quiet and clean room overlooking a beautiful garden. Loved the home touches, home made preserves for breakfast and tour of the museum!

It was a treat to stay there. Several thoughtful things were left for us to enjoy for food including cereal, bananas, bread, butter etc. The accommodation was delightful, the bed very comfortable, the garden a real enjoyment especially the bird life. Leo and Colleen were very friendly and helpful.

Maybe the shower could be updated but we still managed to have a shower and the towels were thick and large.

The place was amazing, we really couldn't have wished for a better place to stay for our first night in NZ! The hosts were extremely kind and let us take a walk in their garden and we chatted a little. Everything was so nice!

The hosts were very welcoming. The room was very nicely decorated, well equiped. The breakfast was very nice. The garden absolutly beautyfull, peacefull and full of lovely birds visiting us. Thank you to our hosts Coleen and Leo. Leo's museum was very interesting, especialy with him transmiting his passion of collection of tools and other old item full of history.

It was a delightful overnight stay; the peace and quiet, the beautiful garden, the birds, the comfortable bed, the lovely owners - I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Colleen and Leo are the sweetest hosts who greeted us warmly upon arrival. Their detached guest suite is clean and cozy, and it includes a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit. We loved their tour of the mini museum, vegetable garden, and small forest trail on their property. Don't forget to check out the stars at night!

Lovely homely studio with everything you need. Bed super comfy. Delicious continental breakfast. Peace and quiet broken only by bird song and cicadas. Beautiful garden with bird life aplenty. A perfect get away from it all spot. Hosts delightful and very helpful.

Charming fascinating hosts, beautiful property with everything we could possibly want. The Fishers must be amongst the best B&Bs in New Zealand.

Should have stayed longer

Our experience was top notch. We loved the location with it's beautiful garden outlook and many birds. The room itself was clean, with a very comfortable bed and a superb continental breakfast to start the day off. Colleen and Leo are genuinely lovely people with lots of interesting stories, and they provide a very welcoming environment.

Saying Goodbye!!

Great place to stop over for a night. The owners were very friendly and the garden, beautiful.

The view from our room was great, looking out at the gardens in the back yard. We were able to spend some time walking around the yeard. It was also nice to see the sheep in the background. The continental breakfast was nicely set up in our room. The Fishers were really nice.

It feels like a bit of a drive to get there, but it's not really that far.

Loved the room, it was private from the main house so you had your own entry and patio. Very generous breakfast provided in room which suited us as we had an early start.

The room and property was excellent far exceeded all our expectations. Our best ever bnb stay. Coll and Leo are so lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional and generous with stewed fruits, yogurt, muselli, bread, jams, juice. comfortable bed I actually slept all night which was great for me (I have insomnia usually). beautiful nature surrounds, peaceful with only birds chirping for outside sounds no traffic. Room is very private it is detached from main house. We are absolutely coming back again.

Staying with Leo and Colleen was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and the whole place is cozy. They have lovely dog and beautiful large garden. We really recommend visiting Leo's museum. Also try stargazing and enjoying the birds singing nearby.

The semi-rural setting of the property is superb, with amazing views across the hills to the snow-covered Alps. Leo and Coll were exceptional and friendly, they made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. The room was very sunny and warm, totally adequate for our over-night stay. We enjoyed the continental breakfast supplied, with a good variety of jams. We loved this place so much and will enjoy coming back again, perhaps in a different season to check out the abundance of trees and shrubs, looking their best. The native birdlife added to the appeal, tuis, bellbirds and Kereru. Millie the dog was first to greet us, she's a treasure. Many thanks for a lovely stay, Murray and Liz

Superb location with lovely gardens. Peaceful and perfect to wake up to a bellbirds/tuis chorus and watch the quail’s running through the garden. Room very comfy and tidy with nice breakfast supplied. Hosts are really nice people and happy to share stories and local knowledge. Would definitely stay here again.

Colleen, Leo & Millie (fur baby) you are all very special people who are so lovely and welcoming. Your special touches to this delightful room are so welcome and appreciated. We should have stayed here two nights instead of only one if we had only known what a tranquil piece of paradise this place is. Your gardens are magnificent. A real credit to you both. Millie is a very special addition to your family. What a little treasure you are Millie, and she loves lots of attention and loving. You are both so kind and delightful that if there were more lovely people like you, the world would be a lovelier place to live in. Leo, we love your extensive collection of old stuff and memorabilia. Thank you Leo for 'sneaking' your wonderful feijoas in our bag. They were very much appreciated. Everything. The place was lovely, including hosts and their dog. It was located in a peaceful area. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was possible to eat breakfast in a beautiful host's garden. My wife liked that there was a bug spray. It was helpful because there was a lot of mosquitoes in the area. Hosts were really kind and helpful. We had a problem with our luggage and they lend us tools to fix it. There was no problem with the late check-in.

Breakfast was very nice,more than enough and loved the fresh fruit option.hosts are very welcoming,beautiful garden, and quiet surroundings full of birdlife. It is a real haven to relax and unwind, enjoy the expansive views with coffee or Book in hand. Mille their friendly old dog was there to greet us..would hope we get to stay again sometime.

This is a great place to stay, a real home from home. A beautiful room with everything you need. Set in a magnificent garden. The hosts were delightful, gave us a lovely welcome and little extras like homemade truffles. Lovely breakfast provided. Don’t hesitate to book here, it’s fabulous.

This little spot is a true hidden gem! Perfect accommodation in a beautiful setting, Colleen and Leo are the perfect hosts. Made us feel very welcome in their home. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is stopping in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer 😊

Excellent quiet and serene garden setting. Hosts Colleen and Leo and even Millie (the dog) were very friendly and hospitable. Enjoyed the guided tour of Leo's personal museum and our wandering around the beautiful garden filled with flowers, fruit trees, vegetables and heaps of birds - tui bellbirds and even quails! Breakfast provided was delicious and plentiful. Will definitely come back again!

Absolutely everything. The room was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. We had all we needed for breakfast; fresh bread, jams, fresh fruits from their garden, etc. Colleen and Leo are warm, fabulous hosts! They gave us a tour in their garden and were very friendly. Awesome choice for couples who want a quiet and peaceful rest.

Everything! It was only a short drive from the town centre but nothing too far. The Fishers were AMAZING hosts, even though we were a last minute booking, but they still were super friendly and hospitable and ensured we had a great stay there! They also have a dog named Milly who was super friendly and adorable as well. The room was spacious, comfortable and cozy and we really enjoyed our stay there.

The grounds were beautiful with vegetable and flower gardens, a walk through the woods, magnificent trees. The hosts went out of their way to welcome us, even showing us their personal museum and giving us interesting books to peruse. Geraldine was a cute town with great Indian food.

The location of the property was quiet and felt rural even though on the outskirts of Geraldine. The room looked out onto a lovely garden and the breakfast was generous and delicious,

There is now free Wi-Fi at the place. Tipp: after Col‘s delicious breakfast have a look at Leo‘s astonishing museum. And lying in bed listen in the evening with open window to the birds in this unique garden!

Fresh berries for breakfast was great. Everything was so clean and I can tell their hospitality is excellent.
