Excellent support from the host. Relatively quiet area, feels safe, grocery stores nearby, close to residential areas with good and affordable restaurants. Property as advertised. Take care when walking the typical dutch staircase.

La habitación era muy pequeña y sus paredes muy finas. Las fotos evidencian que no hay mucho espacio, pero la realidad es que abres la puerta y está todo encajado cuál tetris. La luz del baño, al encenderla, también se enciende con ella el extractor, que hace un ruido molesto y no se apaga con la luz. Es decir, un segundo de luz era mucho tiempo de ruido (que obviamente escuchas en la cama). Se escucha todo lo que sucede en el edificio, las entradas y salidas de los otros huéspedes, el crujir del suelo… todo. De las toallas que disponíamos, al ducharme, estaban bastante usadas y una de ellas agujereada por 3 sitios. Bien es cierto que al informarle a Isabel, en seguida lo solucionó. Finalmente el desayuno… no vale la pena. 1. No es en el airbnb, es en una cafetería próxima. 2. No te dan opción a cambios. Es: un café, un vaso de zumo, un croissant, un yogur y un huevo duro. Ahora bien, le preguntamos a la chica el primer día si podía ser algo que no fuese dulce y su negativa fue directa. No hubo alternativas y tuvimos que hacer doble gasto (coger algo salado a parte). 3 días desayunando un croissant por el precio extra que habíamos pagado. 3. Y la atención de la cafetería, mejor no mencionarla. Ya lo han hecho otros huéspedes. A pesar de la buena atención por parte de Isabel, me sabe mal, pero creo que no compensa calidad-precio. The location is excellent. The reception was out of this world. Such a nice and helpful lady.

The entrance foyers tended to be dusty and leavy. Sould be swept and dusted daily. With the earth warming I suggest an air conditioner to be installed.

A escada super íngrime. Pra subir com malas foi muuuito difícil. Não ter nem ar condicionado nem ventilador. A janela, que precisamos abrir pra não passar calor na hora de dormir, era, na verdade, uma porta que dava para um teto de vidro que servia de caminho para a visita de um gatinho que nos acordava no meio da noite assustadas, achando que o apartamento estava sendo invadido

Établissement à fuir !! J’avais choisi cet hébergement car il comprenait une cuisine. Je suis tombée des nu en entrant dans le logement. Ni plaque, ni micro-onde, ni four. Ma mère étant diabétique, j’ai dû trouver un autre hébergement en urgence. J’ai expliqué la situation à la propriétaire en lui demandant gentiment le remboursement du séjour non effectué, celle ci a vite mis fin à notre échange. J’ai également était choquée de l’état de certains équipements. Serviettes sales, présence d’urine dans les toilettes. Payer 1 200 pour 3 nuits dans cet hébergement c’est une escroquerie !!

Temps mis par le taxi (réservé par le Airbnb) qui devait nous récupérer à l'aéroport pour nous amener au Airbnb. Horaires tardifs du petit déjeuner le week-end.

Excellent location! We love walking and everything was within a walkable distance (5 km). Located on a very narrow, very quiet street! You will sleep soundly! Very charming cafe less than one block north makes for easy morning coffee! We are tall, so it was nice to have a bathroom we could use easily!

The bedroom was somewhat smaller than expected. There was floor space on only one side of the bed. We are physically fit, so it want an issue. Still, a bit more room would merit a higher score. Note, this was one room of many and I don’t know what the other rooms are like.

My stay at this charming B&B in Amsterdam this past January was genuinely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the level of service stood out, warm, attentive, and effortlessly thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive, even before I landed in Amsterdam, the service provided was impeccable, especially the airport transfers both to and from the property! It was such an absolute convenience and I believe on their highest USP in my view! In addition, what truly made the experience special were the hosts, Mercedes and Leonard. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome always ensuring everything was perfect throughout my stay. I had faced a heating issue with the room I initially booked, but without any issues, they immediately changed my room with all working ameneties! Mr. Leonard, in particular, was incredibly forthcoming with recommendations, his suggestions for things to do and places to visit really enhanced my trip and helped me experience Amsterdam in a more authentic way. The atmosphere of the B&B was super cozy and inviting, as well as providing breakfast vouchers which was amazing as well & making it the perfect base to unwind after exploring the city. It felt less like a place to stay and more like a home away from home. If you’re visiting Amsterdam and want a place where service and genuine hospitality make all the difference, this is it. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Ontbijt was basic, maar lekker in een gezellig kader, zalig om daar de dag te beginnen. Vers fruitsap, croissant met confituur en boter, hard gekookt eitje, yoghurt met granola en koffie naar keuze, zeker voldoende, misschien een donker sneetje brood erbij ipv telkens een croissant. Zeer vriendelijke, relaxte bediening.

Een beetje miscommunicatie omdat de gastvrouw in het buitenland zat ivm het stockeren van de bagage na uitchecktijd, wat op zich wel een pluspunt is! Achteraf is alles wel in orde gekomen.

L'emplacement est vraiment bien, à 10 minutes de la gare centrale, dans un quartier animé, avec commerces et cinéma (proposant de la VO!) à deux pas. Dans le logement, très bonne literie, place pour les affaires, serviettes grandes et en bon nombre. Un bon gel douche Une bouteille de vin offerte.

. A notre arrivée, le mari de la propriétaire nous a montré comment regler le chauffage, or dans la nuit, il est monté à plus de 24 alors que le chauffage de la sdb ne marchait pas (il neigeait dehors..). Nous l'avons signalé le lendemain , sin5 mari est revenu très gentiment pour tenter de le baisser et là le chauffage est monté à plus de 25.. Nuits d'enfer. La propriétaire était absente, pas réactive, nous a traités avec désinvolture (nous conseillant d'ouvrir le radiateur dans la salle de bain...merci bien 🙄, nous envoyant son mari pour tenter de régler ce chauffage, puis nous accusant d'être la cause de ces dysfonctionnements..). Nous avons demandé un geste commercial en partant, elle a refusé , toujours par écrit (509€ pour 3 nuits!). . Attention, le studio n'en est pas vraiment un : il n'y a pas de possibilité de cuisiner, juste un micro-ondes pas branchable sauf à déménager et condamner tous les autres appareils (cafetière , bouilloire , grille pain, blender).. La propriétaire nous a écrit que son fils viendrait l'installer, il n'est pas venu. Il y a un égouttoir plié et rangé mais aucune place pour le disposer . La table de cuisine annoncée est en fait un bureau d'écolier en bois dans la chambre, mais fragile et sans nappe ni sets pour le protéger. . Le frigo avait son compartiment à glace sans porte et donc tous nos aliments ont gelé et lorsqu'on a baissé, il a dégivré ...sans torchon ni serpillière.. . Nous avons demandé 3 fois un epluche légumes , même pas eu de réponse. . Pas de vue sur le lac ou la rue comme annoncé, mais sur le mur voisin.

Molt ben situat i a prop de tot arreu. A 10 minuts caminant de l'estació central de trens d'Amsterdam. Hi ha tot tipus de botigues i cafès al voltant on fer tot tipus de compres i d'àpats.

Tolle Lage!!! Wirklich sehr tolle Lage! Alles in der Nähe in so einem angenehmen Viertl, trotzdem ruhig, weil Seitengasse. Sehr nette Gastgeber, haben schnell geantwortet, wenn man was gebraucht hat - wirklich verlässlich und top organisiert. Alles funktionierte einwandfrei in der Wohnung, geräumig und typisches Haus in Amsterdam, so toll dass so zu erleben! Mit den steilen Stiegen halt, aber es ist alles gut machbar und einfach eine coole Erfahrung. Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich! Die kleine Küchenzeile (ohne Herdplatten) ist top zum Käse jausnen (gleich unten an der Straßenecke so gut vom Kaasland) und frühstück richten. Es gibt einen Toaster, Wasserkocher, Soda Stream, Kaffeemaschine und einen kleinen Kühlschrank.

We were only able to access the building by pure chance because a resident happened to be taking their dog for a walk at that exact moment. ​Because of this lack of communication, we came within minutes of missing our train back to Paris and leaving our suitcases in Amsterdam, which contained our professional laptops and many personal belongings. ​Finally, we strongly regret that our luggage was left in the building's entrance without any supervision. This is unacceptable considering the risks of theft or loss. Furthermore, leaving bags unattended is extremely risky in Amsterdam, where drugs are prevalent;. I also sincerely regret that we have not received any message or phone call of apology from the owners regarding these incidents. ​At this price point, we expect much more in terms of reliable information and quality of service."

The host’s behaviour at the last of the journey that i did not like it. Even if she did not respond me for the check out time, She said she will want extra charge for it. That does not make sense. It is not fair when you donot even answer me 2 hours before check out.

We loved the location that the B&B was in Amsterdam! Thr host Isabella was more than helpful her husband bought up and down the luggage 🧳 from and to the 2nd floor! She even had a taxi pick us up at the airport as part of the accommodations we love the city of Amsterdam we stayed in thr Jordan area know for the restaurants the bed was comfortable the bathroom was perfect the room was clean again we had a lot of fun while traveling to Amsterdam we even go to go to the ziggo dome for a concert! Fabulous experience thanks to Isabella and her husband at the Mercedes B&B WE WE SHALL RETURN SOON! Loved thr experience Amsterdam is always fun this was my 3 rd visit!

Very well located. Comfortable, clean and well equiped. It is an amazing choice! The owner left a passcode that allowed us to enter the room around 2am, since our flight arrived around 1am. That was very helpful

W knew the room was small but property misrepresented. Mini bar of sorts but no place to sit. No closet. There is no patio as stated. You see the concrete edge of the canal but no real view. This was average, overpriced place in an ok location with dirty streets( garbage to step over) . Our photos were after some of it was cleaned up but it was terrible. 4 towels and 1 hand towel for 6 days. Everything is extra. Breakfast location a few blocks and minimal selection. Cold hardboiled egg, croissant, yogurt. Tried to substitute items but not till our last days did we get a girl who would do it. We have traveled all over Europe and usually do a Bed and Breakfast. Had just come from a wonderful one in Budapest. This was a low point. We would not recommend it.

Great location, nice and quiet, but just a short walk from all the action if you want it. Lovely warm room with a comfy bed and plenty of amenities. Our hosts,Yannai and Isabel, couldn't be more helpful or accommodating.

We had a lovely holiday here. Isabel and her family are kind and welcoming and we had everything we needed in the room. The property was well-equipped, there are a lot of kitchenette amenities that we were happy to have for our stay. Everything was really clean and comfortable as well. The location here was also perfect, away from the chaos of the city centrum but still easy enough to walk anywhere in a few minutes.

Everything was absolutely fine.... Isabel and them paid lots of attention to detail. So there is nothing missing in that cute little room. All the attractions are in walking distance, and the neighbourhood itself has already a lot of charme, which you experience at least once a day when going for breakfast in a nearby cafe. That's included in your booking as well as a bottle of wine ... very nice gesture (even though we don't drink)

The breakfast - Tazzina Espresso e Panini location was great as it was nice and close. The only thing we were a wee bit disappointed in was that the staff at Tazzina’s were not really engaging or warm. They were professional and the breakfast was delicious (although exactly the same each day), they did not greet you or ask you if you needed anything else or how the breakfast was or any other engagement. It was not a deal breaker at all, just kinda disappointing as every other restaurant or cafe we went to was different in that regard.

The room was lovely, although a wee bit smaller than expected from the pictures. However, Isabel’s son was very nice and checked in on us as well as giving us some recommendations. He was helpful, personable and friendly.

The location of the B&B was very good - walking distance to many of the main sights in Amsterdam. Construction around the train station made the walking route into the city less pleasant than it otherwise would have been, though.

The double room was really very small, and for over 300 euros a night, we expected better. But the main issue was the slow communication with the host. Perhaps it's the Booking.com messaging system, but the response time was sometimes up to 8 hours, which was really not good, especially for time-sensitive issues like checking in and checking out, or for questions about items that were listed as available on Booking.com but not immediately visible in the room. The breakfast was fine, but not very substantial: croissant with jam and butter, yogurt, juice, coffee or tea.

Should have packed lighter! The stairs are steep (classic Amsterdam fashion) so getting our large bag up was difficult and we really had no space for it in the unit

Had cards for a great breakfast at a nearby café. The location is close to the city center, just a 15-minute walk from the railway station, yet still fairly quiet. Check-in instructions were clear and everything went smoothly. The room was charming, located in a traditional house with wooden beams and narrow, winding staircases. There were such wonderful additions as soda maker, coffee maker, some tea and coffee pads.

One thing to note: there wasn’t anywhere to dry towels except for a bathroom door hook. A rack by the window would have been nice, as the bathroom’s tiny exhaust didn’t do much for the humidity. Having a way to dry them off would be a great addition.

Super nice and cosy B&B, room is very small but you have all you need and the location is amazing! The hosts were also very friendly and helpful und breakfast in the nearby coffee delicious.

The location of the cafe was good. It was close by, about a 5-7 minute walk from the room. The food was good and the cafe was quaint. The B&B host was gracious and worked with our tight schedule on arrival day. She suggested and arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport when we were working out the departure schedule, which was starting super early in the morning. I recommend Mercedes B&B.

The location was excellent. We also appreciate them letting us drop off our luggage until the room was ready. We appreciate them arranging the taxi to the airport, as our taxi from the cruise terminal had a difficult time finding the location and drove quite awhile looking, even though it was a 20-25 minute walk. All in all, we'd stay again!

As far as the breakfast, we did not care any of the food offered with the exception of the croissant. Thankfully there was a market with a basket just around the corner, so we had better success going there.

Close to the Anne Frank House; short Uber ride to museums. Room and bathroom were clean and roomy; nice to have a kitchen. Vanessa helped us get our luggage upstairs. Breakfast at local coffee house. Free taxi to airport with a four-night stay.
