Fast alles. Die Lage zur Metro ist perfekt, Ruhige Lage, nettes Zimmer. Die Gastgeber sind ganz besondere Menschen (im positiven Sinne). Das Frühstück war das Beste unserer 3- wöchigen Reise.

Rita und Dan sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir haben uns in ihrer Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer ist sauber und sehr gemütlich. Wir haben die Innenstadt zu Fuß erreicht, aber es gibt in der Nähe auch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Rita hat uns jeden Morgen ein sensationelles Frühstück zubereitet. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Rita und Dan. Sie waren unglaublich tolle herzliche Gastgeber. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag fantastisch. Die Metro/ Bus waren nah an der Unterkunft, sowie viele Café s und Restaurants. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es sehr weiterempfehlen.

Die super nette Gastgeberin Rita hat uns morgens ein unvergessliches Frühstück bereitet.

Breakfast was amazing. Its location is excellent, being so close to the Metro, shops, and restaurants. The owners maximized their space well to provide comfort to guests. The hostess was engaging, making guests feel at hone. The couple shared a lot if tips how to navigate Montreal.

There’s only one bathroom that was shared among the guests.

Rita and Dan were amazing hosts. The bedding and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Location great. Back patio ambiance and privacy; it was peaceful and relaxing and the breakfast, of course, phenomenal! HIGHLY recommend 👌

We stayed with another couple and the shared bathroom was fine. The hallways were dimly lite.

Our hosts Rita and Dan were friendly and welcoming! From arrival communication, welcome, and made us feel at home! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The back patio for reading, cards, and breakfast was so relaxing, cozy, and beautiful with the plants and foliage! The breakfasts were hearty and unique, tasty and different both mornings! Lots of variety on the plate. Coffee and tea were wonderful! We loved our blue room and bathroom was clean and had everything we needed.

We will add to the reviews about breakfast with a resounding "OMG THE BREAKFAST"! We would have slept on a cot on the floor to have access to that breakfast. Very thoughtful, delicious, and copious in size. The space is also charming, cozy, and welcoming. The back deck is a beautiful breakfast, coffee, and wine spot. The hosts are friendly and lovely as well. The location is very conveniently located near the Metro and if you want a beautiful, relaxing walk along the canal, that is only steps away.

Bonjour, Accueil très chaleureux et petits déjeuners super copieux et agréable. Nous avons pu le prendre sur la petite terrasse. Rita est une hôte vraiment très chouette et pleine d'humour; Le gite n'est pas loin de la station de métro.

Etwas kleines Zimmer für ein Pärchen Urlaub. Das Zimmer wird schon recht warm.

Nous avons passé un super moment au gîte, Rita et Dan sont très accueillants et arrangeants. Les petits déjeuners étaient excellents et nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le quartier et le logement qui était toujours très propre. Nous recommandons à 100%

Breakfast

Jolie chambre, au premier étage d'une maison au calme. Hôte hyper accueillante, super attentionnée. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel, tout est préparé maison et frais. Métro très pratique (deux lignes vers le centre de Montréal) et bus 747 qui fait le trajet aéroport en 25 minutes. Je recommande totalement.

Great place in a great location. Easy access to the subway and walking distance to many restaurants. Rita was a wonderful host and an excellent cook. She was very helpful with suggestions and made our stay very memorable.

The breakfast was great. Rita was very accommodating of our food allergies. The location is close to 2 metro lines and in an interesting neighborhood (St. Henri.) Our room was comfortable as was the shared bathroom.

L’accueil et les relations très chaleureuses pendant tous le séjour, le petit déjeuner exceptionnel, le lit très confortable et le positionnement géographique.

La chambre est très bruyante en raison du trafic et de la faible isolation phonique (bâtiment d’époque). Avec des bouchons d’oreilles plus de soucis :)

Hosts were very kind and attentive to our needs as guests. Breakfast was delicious, and made available at the time we asked. Location was central and close to a metro station. The room was comfortable with its own sink and mini fridge (bathroom was shared). Good value. True B&B experience.

Sound proofing was so-so, and we needed to use earplugs in order not to be woken up by sound from the shared bathroom and kitchen.

We loved the breakfast, the colourful and inspirational decor, the excellent location vis-a-vis metro and neighbourhood restaurants, leafy walks etc. Dan and Rita are excellent hosts with a wealth of experience in making people feel comfortable in either English or French or a mix. Being in their home in St. Henri really added to our overall experience of the history of Montreal and the changes undergone in this part of the city. We will always remember this stay... plus the kindness of sending us on our way with a delicious carrot muffin each!

This is not a criticism but simply a suggestion: I wondered if the lovely large plants with which we shared the room (they love the light of course) could have been located on a higher shelf or other spot where I wasn't conscious of touching them as I passed by. Perhaps some place that allowed for more floor space and also easier closing of the curtains?

La gentillesse, la bonne humeur de Dan et Rita, exceptionnels..Le calme. Le petit déjeuner pantagruélique. La décoration est très éclectique mais chaleureuse. La proximité du métro et de la navette aéroport. Le quartier. Et la petite attention adorable de Rita qui cuisine le matin du départ pour que vous partiez avec "un petit souvenir," (muffin délicieux).

Le fait que la salle de douche soit commune ne me gêne pas en soi. Par contre, les toilettes ne sont pas séparées et cela m'a un peu angoissée. En plus, des toilettes japonaises ! Je n'ai pas osé en profiter.Ne convient pas aux personnes en situation de handicap

The room was very comfortable and had a refrigerator and a desk. Excellent Wi-Fi. Breakfast was amazing!

Parking was hard on the street. There was a transportation strike while I was there that shut down the metro, which turned it from a good location to a long walk downtown.

A slightly late review! I stayed here for two nights when I visited Montreal in September for the marathon. It honestly felt like staying at my grandma’s place in another city — cozy and comfortable. Although the bathroom was shared, it was never an issue, and I was pleasantly surprised to find free street parking right in front of the house — something I’d never experienced before in Montreal (most places charge an extra parking fee). What I loved most was the breakfast freshly made by the host each morning. If I ever come back to Montreal, or if someone I know plans to visit, I’d definitely recommend this place!

Excellent small BnB with the most amazing breakfasts and very friendly hosts! Nice location close to many restaurants, the Atwater market, the canal for nice walks as well as the metro to get downtown, the plateau etc. and bus to/from the airport!

As it is a beautiful older building, there is only one washroom in the BnB. It is kept very clean, but something to keep in mind.

Een prachtige kamer, op een uitstekende lokatie, rustig, genietend van een uitgebreid ontbijt op het terras, met een af en toe een gezellig gesprek met onze vriendelijke host, Rita.

Das Frühstück war hervorragend! Das Paar war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und gab tolle Tipps über Metro, Parkplatz, Sehenswürdigkeiten... Alles gut erreichbar, ohne Auto.

Rita and Dan were lovely and accommodating. The breakfasts were incredible, and Rita even made us delicious blueberry muffins for the rest of our road trip! The bed was very comfortable and we had a lovely stay there :) would definitely stay again!

We were so fortunate to stumble upon this gem of a spot. The hosts were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast meal they prepared was exceptional. The space was very clean and the bedroom was spacious. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Montreal.

This stay has been absolutely perfect. I stayed with my friend, and we didn't have many expectations when we booked this place. Rita was absolutely perfect! Her house is not only clean and comfortable, but could model for magazines because of how beautiful it is. The rooms are decorated, Rita is quite the collector and the house has a very special atmosphere! The breakfasts are hosted on her magical balcony, she makes fantastic food, and even asked us in advance for our preferences and adjusted herself accordingly. The location is great, and easy to transport to other parts of the city via walking or metro. To sum up - phenomenal. Would definitely book again.

Where to start? The breakfasts were incredible! And what a wonderful oasis of a back deck to enjoy the delicious breakfasts! The room I stayed in is spacious, and I appreciated the AC and fan to combat the summer heat. An added bonus was the bar fridge to store my market purchases!

Ein sehr schönes Bed & Breakfast etwas außerhalb von Downtown, daher ruhig gelegen. Die nächste Metro-Station ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Rita ist eine fabelhafte Gastgeberin, die sehr viele Tipps zur Tagesgestaltung, dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr etc geben kann. Auch ihr Frühstück ist sehr gut. Man wird vorher explizit gefragt nach Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten gefragt und kann somit sein Frühstück vollumfänglich genießen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind in den umliegenden Straßen ebenfalls vorhanden. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt hier genossen.

Les hôtes sont d'une gentillesse remarquable et arrangeant. Nous sommes arrivés plus tôt que prévu et nous avons pu tout de même avoir accès à notre chambre. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents et toujours servis avec le sourire et dans la bonne humeur. La chambre était propre. Le lavabo présent dans la chambre est très pratique étant donné qu'il s'agit d'une salle de bain commune. Ainsi nous ne sommes pas obligés de toujours occuper la salle de bain. Nous recommandons fortement cet hébergement Merci à Rita et Dan !

The owner is a wonderful cook and breakfast was a treat each morning.

This wonderful place is the old school kind of B&B, where hardworking hosts open their home to visitors. That sort of hospitality and attention to detail can feel like a dinosaur these days--gone unless you pay at the ridiculous prices of hotels. We enjoyed the sumptious breakfasts with homebaked goodies every morning and the joy of conversations with other guests. (If you want to be by yourself, this might not be the place for you, as breakfast is served in the outdoor patio with others). In our room, we had airconditioning (it was HOT when we were there in June), a small refrigerator, and a comfy bed. We did share a bathroom, but the timing was perfect for us and we had no issues there. Free parking is available and we had no problem finding a spot. I am a runner, and the canal is a short distance away, which meant easy access to distances without city stoplights. Restaurants are within walking distance, including some fabulous ice cream. The only potential issue about staying here is the steep stairs to get up to the room--be aware of that when booking. Finally, Rita is a refreshing hostess: she's honest, funny, straightforward, hardworking, and dedicated to her baking. We are happy we stayed with her.

The breakfast had a variety of fresh fruits, cheese. Another yummy breakfast by Dani and also a home made muffin when we checked out for the road.

Rita and Dan are great. I loved the sense of humour and the thoughtfulness to make the stay comfortable. The photos lining the staircase are fun, the breakfast is excellent, the shower is hot and the bed is comfy. The location is excellent, it's outside of downtown Montreal so it's nice and quiet. A couple minutes either way gets you to the metro or to the main street with places to eat, or to the market for fresh everything. You can't go wrong here! 15/10 stars

All the positive reviews are right on the money! We were very happy to stay and be based at this location! Rita and Dan were fun welcoming hosts, and we were able to relax, rest, and enjoy being in a real Montreal neighborhood, visiting things like locals.

Breakfast mixed with fun conversations with Rita and Dan were definitely the highlight. They are a lovely couple and made us laugh a lot. They even gave us a couple of muffins for our ride back to the States. Great location as well as it was a five minute walk to a metro station.
