The chalet is very well located, in a residential area close to Interlaken. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room on the upper floor was spacious and clean, with a nice mountain view from the terrace. The breakfast was tasty. Though it's a small place, there is a washing machine and a dryer for guests' use.

I wish there was more than score 10 for this property. it is a lovely place in a beautiful village. Nature is amazing. staff was amazing. amazing hospitality I have ever seen. very friendly, very kind and very helpful. location is also so good as in pure nature. just 15 min away from center and you can enjoy nature and quiteness. also 10 min walk train station can take you most of the nearby attractions.

Die Lage ist relativ gut, Interlaken ist schnell zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war passend, es war immer frisch. Das Bad war neu ausgestattet/modern

Das Haupthaus sieht sehr gemütlich aus, wir hatten aber das "Pech" im Nebenhaus/Garage unsere Unterkunft zu haben. Das Apartment liegt hinter der Waschküche, durch die man durchgeht und war jetzt nicht so gemütlich, eher dunkel, hatte was von einem umgebauten Kellerabteil. Für den Preis waren wir tatsächlich sehr enttäuscht, da die anderen Apartments v.a. auf Fotos sehr hell und geräumig gewirkt haben.

Fajn veranda, snidane na verande v cene. Mila pani hostitelka. Cistota ok. Parkovani pred penzionem.

Meli jsme smulu, ze jsme byli v pokoji cislo jedna nad nami byla rodina s malym ditetem 3-5 let. Bohuzel je vse slysel, kdyz vam chodi vecer lidi nad vami a zejmena kdyz dite zlozi vecer v jedenact, tak se nevyspite a celou dobu z toho byl nas pes nervozni, protoze porad nekdo chodil nad nami. V okoli nic neni, takze na veceri si nikam nazajdete. Je potreba s tim pocitat.

Room was clean and spacious for Europe, the breakfast was delicious (homemade yogurt, granola, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, fruit, milk, tea, coffee), quiet location, staff was friendly and answered all my hiking questions. King size bed was nice and firm.

No air conditioning, but there was a fan. It is a bit far from the main train station, so you have to use the bus system to get to the apartment or you'll have a long uphill walk. We found it a good trade off for having a quiet location, but if you don't like walking, just be informed.

We had excellent service with breakfast, laundry, and questions. The beds were comfortable and the access to drinks and snacks for purchase was a nice touch. People respected the quiet hours.

Due to very hot temperatures we kept blinds shut but windows open and we had a neighbor who sat outside at a table near our window and smoked. We had to shut the windows every time that happened. After they checked out we didn’t have that anymore.

Chalet Gafri is a wonderful little hotel where you will find all the comfort you need without it being overly luxurious. It is located in Wilderswil, a very peaceful village just 10 minutes away from Interlaken, and the hotel itself is a convenient 5-minute walk from the Wilderswil Sand station. The rooms are spacious and incredibly clean. The absolute best part of this place is the wonderful attitude of the entire team. Starting with Katherine (the owner), Kris, Marcelina, and Gaby—they are beautiful people who are always attentive, ready to help, and dedicated to making sure you have the best possible experience. Breakfast is very tasty and enjoyed in a peaceful atmosphere. If there is one small thing to improve, it would be having more egg options, as they only serve cold, hard-boiled eggs; however, this is completely manageable. I highly recommend this lovely hotel for families looking for a quiet, warm, and familiar environment. As a bonus, there is a crystal-clear, refreshing river passing very close by where you can take a dip, and there are plenty of mountain trails nearby to enjoy beautiful walks. We would definitely go back!

The view from the balcony was amazing! The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was absolutely fantastic! It was about 15 minutes to the train stop which made getting around fairly simple. It's a bit removed from downtown interlaken, so if you're looking for that you will be very happy! We loved the quiet neighborhood, nearby creek, and friendly cats that said hello each day as we walked to the train! We would absolutely recommend this place for a family (there were 4 of us).

I loved that our space for 4 people was spacious. What we all loved was the wonderfully kind and attentive staff who went above and beyond to meet our needs. We also loved the little town of Wilderswil.

The location is stunning, sit eating breakfast looking at the Eiger. So peaceful and relaxing. We stayed in an adjoining property. Lovely and cool, comfortable, very typical decor. The host was fabulous, gave lots of information to help us make the most of our trip. Great place to stay, simple to get to, use the local pass the host sends and get free bus around the area.

It was a little tricky to find when we got into town with our map app not working, but the town was extremely easy to navigate after we got the initial lay of the land.

la chambre est un peu petite mais suffisante pour 2 ou 3 jours, tout était propre. le personnel était très gentil et attentionné. le petit déjeuner était très bien avec plusieurs choix de pains, viennoiseries mais aussi de charcuteries et fromages. l'emplacement à 15 minutes de Lauterbrunnen et Grindelwald est idéal. je recommande à 100%

For Switzerland very good - simple, clean, friendly, extra "kitchen equipment accesories". Quiet place, reasonable priced for Switherland. If description and reviews read correctly - it is what you get. Bed is ok. View assume from balcon or checked - outside tables is good! Breakfast good for Switzerland standards.

Loved the location in a small and non-touristy town but with good access to everything in the area by train and bus. Charming. Quiet. Walkable. Lovely views. Room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast hostess was lovely and personable. I would note it is a fair walk from the train station up a grade if that matters to someone who might have limitations.

Didn’t meet the new owner til a brief passing the last day…so missed that B&B aspect which I had read many enjoyed and also connecting to get ideas about the area.

Eu amei a localização, muito pertinho de Interlaken, fora dos ruídos da cidade, próximo a muitas trilhas, muito sossego! Cama confortável, chalé muito limpo e organizado! Café da manhã preparado na hora pela ótima equipe!

Excelente atención de parte los dueños y el personal , súper atentos y simpáticos. Muy cómodo apartamento, muy limpio y acogedor , ubicado solo a unos 10 min de Interlaken y en dirección a Lauterbrunnen. Ubicado en un sitio tranquilo y con hermosas vistas. Nos ha encantado.

Heaven on Earth.. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Wilderswil this is truely magnificient place to stay... Amazing View, Awesome Host, Clean and Adequate stay. 100% recommended.

Comfortable, quiet peaceful and relaxing apart from people moving around on the floor above. Good size and comfortable beds. Quaint dinning room. Friendly staff. Clean.

No ability to control room temperature. I needed to go to the dinning room to make tea and coffee, none in the room. Access to the Chalet was not easy with luggage going up the hill. A shuttle service would assist. The local bus service only takes you part way. Servicing the room was only on request and not a daily service.

Exceptionally clean with beautiful views. Katherine, the owner was so prompt with her responses to my questions. At breakfast she came to introduce herself to us and gave us pointers on how to spend our days. The breakfast and coffee was excellent. The shared kitchen is kept open all day with fruit and cookies. The river with a walking path is just steps away, a hidden oasis with the sounds of cow bells in the distance. We would love to return!

Cozy, warm and staff is friendly

The location in charming Wilderswil village was perfect—peaceful yet close to Interlaken—and our family room was spacious, comfortable, and immaculate. What truly made our trip special was the exceptional care from the lovely ladies on staff (their warm, attentive service made us feel genuinely welcomed and looked after every day). We couldn’t have asked for a better hospitality experience and highly recommend this chalet to families seeking a relaxing Swiss alpine getaway.

Property was in brilliant location with easy access to alpine towns we wanted to visit. The host and staff just couldn’t do enough for you, borrowed us things we had forgotten and just lovely touches like chocs and beers left in room. They want to make sure guests are always happy and well looked after. Rooms spotlessly clean and modern, and comfortable beds.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet Gafri! The cabana is modern, rustic, warm, and very clean. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and every detail is carefully thought of. Every window has blinds, so you can sleep well. Breakfast is fresh and high quality. The owner and staff are very friendly and helped us plan our winter trip. The location is excellent – close to many sledge tracks and about 20 minutes from Grindelwald Eiger Express. There is no dinner, but you can use the kitchen to warm your food, and there are very good restaurants nearby with parking (2–3 min by car). Free parking in front is very convenient. Self check-in worked perfectly and made our arrival easy. Thank you to the host and team for the warm welcome and excellent service. We loved it and highly recommend it!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Got amazing recommendations on what to do. The locations was perfect and very well connected by train and bus. Having the Interlaken guest card was an amazing added value with the free public transport around and discounts. The breakfast was delicious and the attention was excellent. Many options to choose from and personal treatment. The room was perfect, clean and big. Couldn't ask for anything else. Definitely recommend and will come back!

We liked everything.

The room and property were immaculate . Fritz and Gabbi were amazing host. Helpful with suggestions on hikes, helped find a bus schedule and assist us a bit since my husband had a bad knee. The overnight oats were yummy- Monica was a lovely breakfast host

The walk up the slop from the bus stop 105. There is a nearer bus stop 111, just after the museum, but lesser frequency.

Really perfectly accommodation for us (family of 4). Gabi and Fritz are excellent hosts. The breakfast is perfect.

Notre séjour a été exceptionnel à cet établissement! D’abord superbe accueil et judicieux conseils de Fritz et Gaby sur les activités à faire dans la région. La localisation est dans un quartier paisible mais tout de même à proximité des activités avec vue sur «  top of Europe «  . La chambre était propre et spacieuse. Que du positif pour ma femme et moi. Je recommande !!!

The charm and character of the place. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. When traveling to Switzerland this is more of what I think of as that quintessential place to stay. My room was great! The place is more on the edge of town but only short walk (10 minutes). Which is actually nice walk after eating at a restaurant in town.

We had a wonderful time during our 4-night stay. We felt so welcomed and cared for by the owners. The place itself is nicely renovated and the room was set up with extra care for my kids, with nice surprises and even a stool in the bathroom for my youngest. Most importantly, the room was spotless which is super important for a cleaning freak like me. The vilage is beautiful and tranquil. Highly recommend.

Mooie, rustige locatie met zicht op de bergen. Ruime familiekamer, gebruik van de keukenfaciliteiten mogelijk, goed ontbijt (huisgemaakte muesli was heerlijk, mijn favoriet!), vriendelijke ontvangst... Op 15min wandelen van station Wilderswil, ideale uitvalsbasis voor uitstappen naar Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Schynnige Platte, Interlaken ... toeristische, maar prachtige regio om te verkennen, de Jungfrau Region.

De prijs is op zijn Zwitsers, alles heeft daar een hoger prijskaartje (tot 3x meer dan buurlanden Oostenrijk en Duitsland), maar ik denk dat we voor Zwitserse termen zeker een correcte prijs-kwaliteit betaalden, we hebben enorm genoten van onze dagen daar.

Modern, super clean, well facilitated. Gabi and Fritz are very helpful and welcoming.
