Scale ripide e numerosi gradini per arrivare alle stanze all'ultimo piano della struttura. Bagno al di fuori della stanza nello spazio in cui veniva anche il proprietario; quindi mancanza di privacy. Tutto questo non era stato reso noto al momento della orenotazione

Die Dachterrasse war grandios.

Die drei Treppen waren für unseren Hund etwas zu steil. Badezimmer war auf der anderen Seite vom Flur.

Дуже милий господар, показав все, що потрібно та навіть дав поради по закладах, що варто відвідати. Також дуже мила собачка. Кімната чиста та комфортна. Локація теж зручна, до центру регулярно ходить прямий тролейбус.

Nice loft with a beautiful terrace. Not directly in the city centre (which means quieter) but very well connected with public transport. We enjoyed our staying very much! The owner is very gentle and gave us nice advices for our tourism.

We had a perfect weekend here. The location is perfect, very close to public transport. The host was absolutely amazing, so welcoming, and gave us fantastic local recommendations that made our trip even better. To top it all off, the breakfast he prepared was exceptional every morning. Highly recommend!

Blaine was always kind and helpful.

It is on the 4rd floor with no elevator! There was no indication in the add about that. One room with stairs to a small mezzanine.

Die offerierte Unterkunft in dieser Straße Nr. 24 -H war ebenerdig mit Garten in Amsterdam- Süd.

Beim online Bestellen wurde die Unterkunft in Nr. 24 -3 abgeändert und war im 3. Stockwerk. Wenn ich nun Amsterdam hinzufüge weiß man , was das bedeutet. Ein Haus ohne Lift und Wendeltreppen schmal wie eine Hühnerleiter mit 2 Koffern und Gattin mit Knieproblemen. Also aufpassen bei der Bestellung !

The house was very cozy, clean, and well organized, with all the necessary comforts for a pleasant stay. The location was perfect, in a quiet area but well connected, ideal for exploring Amsterdam.

My wife and I stayed for 3 comfortable nights. The location was quiet and very close to public transportation to major museums and central station.

Nous avons été agréablement surpris ! Le logement était mieux que ce que l’on attendaient. Très bien placé, proche des transports et du Vondelpark. La terrasse est très agréable pour les jours de beau temps. Blaine nous a très bien accueilli, notre fils a adorait jouer avec son petit chien ! Nous avons été autorisé à déposer notre valise plus tôt.

Les escaliers… étant enceinte il fallait que je prenne mon temps 😅

La posizione dell'appartamento è strategica ( vicinanza all'aeroporto e alla fermata del tram n.2 che in circa 15 minuti porta in centro). L'appartamento è accogliente e funzionale, dotato di servizi ( bollitore elettrico, asciugacapelli, stoviglie, ecc.). Terrazzo panoramico con arredamento per il relax ( divanetto sedie e tavolino). Cambio giornaliero di tutti gli asciugamani. Gentilezza,simpatia e disponibilità del proprietario, che su richiesta allestisce ottime colazioni e cene a prezzi ragionevoli.

Il bagno (piccolo, senza finestra e datato). Tre piani di scale per accedere all'appartamento che possono costituire una difficoltà per chi ha problemi di deambulazione.

Sehr gepflegt, Einrichtung wunderschön, Dachterrasse herrlich . Blaine ist ein prima Gastgeber, freundlich, zuverlässig und humorvoll.

Die Toilette ist sehr klein. Man muss seine Beine gut managen.

Muy agradable el anfitrión, sus desayunos y el apartamento en general, la ubicación parecía alejada del centro pero la verdad que está a media hora caminando y el tranvía N 2 te conecta perfectamente si no quieres caminar

Sehr ruhige Lage, mit der Straßenbahn in 15 Minuten im Zentrum, sehr netter Gastgeber und ein super Frühstück.

Spacious family room with beautiful roof-top terrace. Great location - a short distance from the highway, and nice walking route through Vondelpark to the city center.

Accessibilité, attention aux gross valises, 2 étages à monter très pentue. L'Insonorisation peut déranger les plus sensibles.

Nicely decorated room, in a quiet neighbourhood. Super clean. A good option for a short stay in Amsterdam.

If you have a lot of luggage, beware of steep stairs to reach there. But that is the case of many Amsterdam houses.

Les escaliers très raides

Blaine's house is located in a semi-suburban neighbourhood that is charming, very quiet and well connected to the centre of Amsterdam. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and Blaine is a super-professional host, kind, discreet and always available. The breakfast is exceptional and highly recommended. We stayed with my family for 5 nights: a perfect stay, thank you Blaine!

I would just add some optional blackout curtains in the lower room.

Very nice place to stay. Breakfast and the rooftop terrace and the coffee machine in the room were all pluses! Good value for the price but Amsterdam is so expensive as it is.

Im not sure if Blaine has a very dry sense of humor or is just rude. It was a bit difficult to find at first bc Google maps is wrong. Also there are 3 flights of steep stairs, but I guess that’s normal for Amsterdam.

Blaine's Bed and Breakfast was a delightful place to stay! It was a beautiful property, very centrally located, a short tram ride away from both the train station and downtown. He has tons of recommendations for sights, restaurants, and experiences accumulated from years living in the city, and you can tell he is passionate about ensuring his guests have a great stay in Amsterdam. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, and Blaine was always available to provide tips for a prospective day of adventuring. It was a delightful time, and we are grateful to Blaine for sharing his love of the city with us!

The host, location, food, the apartment itself... Everything was 10/10! Blaine is amazing and you should definitely try his cooking. Will be returning again!

The room was cozy and warm, with a beautiful view from the window. It’s located in a lovely area with plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. They also have a cute dog, which made the stay even nicer. Following the owner’s suggestion, I tried a really good place in the neighborhood. If I get the chance, I would definitely book this place again.

Blaine is a great host. He was accommodating on arrival and departure times and threw on breakfast even though we did not buy it. The suite was very nice, clean and connected to a beautiful rooftop terrace.

We had to pay a bit more than we were planning on due to a late booking, but the place is great. We loved our two night layover between the Western USA and Tanzania.

The room was super cute and the breakfast was outstanding.

Climbing the multiple stairs was a bit tough due to my age, but not a deal breaker.

Fantastic pet friendly bed and breakfast. Blaine, the owner, leaves in the same house. He is very kind. The terrace on the top floor is beautiful.

La struttura sarebbe anche carina se tenuta e pulita a dovere, ubicate in un quartiere carino a sud del centro di Amsterdam, divano letto comodo, terrazza a disposizione (non in esclusiva)

La stanza non sarebbe male, il problema è che è vecchia e non tenuta e soprattutto molto sporca, il bagno NON È IN CAMERA, è subito fuori dalla stanza ed in uso esclusivo peccato che tra la stanza e bagno passi un corridoio che va ad una lavanderia privata del titolare, il quale in ogni momento del giorno passa senza problemi. Il titolare persona gentile, ma non è sicuramente un host come lo si intende, non ha neanche proposto di darci una mano coi bagagli. All’arrivo per spiegarci che Ete erano sotto al divano letto in un cassettone ha aperto il cassettone con i piedi e ha toccato le coperte per farci capire cosa intendeva. Il titolare gira scalzo sempre in tutta la casa. Situato al quarto piano con le scale olandesi, impossibile salire con i bagagli che non siano +1 valigia da cabina, impossibile da utilizzare per una persona con qualche problema di deambulazione. Avevamo deciso di scegliere questa struttura in quanto aveva recensioni molto alte, dove aveva un prezzo decisamente conveniente rispetto alle altre strutture simili, ma è stata assolutamente una delusione, Bagno indecente vecchio e sporco come tutto il resto della stanza. Non ci tornarei.

Blaine is a great :) Very helpful with giving tips and tricks on what to watch out for in the neighborhood. :) We had a pleasant stay in his B&B! Impressive Roof-Top Terrace included and an Albert Hein (Grocery) is literaly behind the building. Thank you very much for having us as your guest!

Blaine was very hospitable and the dog was very friendly and cute. Very nice area too, cosy neigborhood. Not that far from Lelylaan station, about 2km or 20 minutes, so walkable.

There are quite a few very steep stairs to get to the room, not so strange in Amsterdam but still a bit of a hassle. The door to the room is also paper thin.

The host was extremely welcoming, I was very well looked after. As I was tired after a long train journey my room was excellent for a restful time and as the weather was nice I enjoyed the terrace

We loved the peaceful neighbourhood and the recommendation for the excellent restaurant Food Bar 63 Graden. Also close to public transport.

Be prepared for very steep narrow stairs which is typical for Amsterdam. The shower is shared and the separate toilet is very small. The host is knowledgeable but can be abrupt.

Blaine is a lovely host, and great with communication. Reccomend the breakfast as well. Easy from tram and bus stops.

Not a biggie, but be aware of three flights of stairs to get up with luggage.

Very clean and quiet place in a great location! The bed was super comfortable, and there were lots of restaurants just around the corner. Public transit was easy to use, and the neighbourhood felt very safe. Just a heads-up—there are quite a few stairs, so it may be tricky for older guests.

The house was really beautiful and the room was very tidy and cozy and there was always clean towels for use. It was very nice to have a coffee machine in the room. The host was friendly and the atmosphere in the house was wholesome. Also, there was a beautiful rooftop terrace in the house! Nothing to complain about!

The location suited me well because I was attending an exhibition in the RAI rather than being in central Amsterdam. The welcome was warm and friendly and the roof terrace was available to me to enjoy the beautiful weather

The stairs will be an issue for some visitors, not just to get the accommodation but in the accommodation itself (the bedroom is up some quite steep steps). Having said this it was well worth the climb!

Room was fine but the ladder stairs were a bit scary and the stairs up to the apartment were extremely steep and 5 flights. The listing did mention stairs but my mom couldn’t get up comfortably

Easy to reach by public transport from the main railway station, the city and the airport. Wonderful for exploring the city as it is only 5 min to walk to the tram stop. A little oasis with the green and quiet roof terrace and its marvelous view. Checking in and out was also great as well as all the info we got from the owner about early transport and other tips around the city.

The only small challenge was getting the luggage up the steep, narrow steps to the 4th floor, but we managed it.

When you share a house you know that sometimes can be a little bit noisy in the morning. Normal.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Breakfast was traditional European with lots of variety of breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, softboiled eggs, muesli, etc. All delicious! Well worth the price! Blaine was a very, friendly helpful host, willing to share knowledge, advice, recommendations. Bed was very comfortable, Location is great. Easy access to tram.

Wish there was a Lift to the 3rd floor. The stairs are steep when you have luggage! But Blaine helped us with our luggage, and I understand about steep Amsterdam stairs--just part of the unique, historical architecture!

That is excellent apartment and very pleasant owner.

There was only one problem but it hurt us a lot: information about the apartment was not 100% clear. 1. We have chosen “room with terrace”. Owner has various rooms for rent at that building but terrace is mentioned only when you choose “room with terrace”. However during our stay we found that terrace could be used by other guests too and owner confirmed that. So on Sunday mourning some other guests had a late breakfast just behind our window. We were in beds at that moment so had to put our clothes quickly as the room was fully viewed from the terrace. We felt ourselves as if we share apartment with strangers. 2. It was not mentioned that bathroom and kitchen could be used by owner at any time, so when you move from the room to bathroom and back you’d better put all your clothes. And once again keep in mind that you share your apartment with the owner. 3. Stairs is pretty hard to climb. That was not a problem for us but for sure my parents could not afford them. Hope the owner could mention it before booking. Apart of that everything was perfect but these issues made us think we would not recommend that place to any other guests.
