The appearance of the outside of the house would need attention, but considering we were in the middle of a heatwave it was fine. Having to use the shower in the bath was a bit awkward.

A walk in shower would be a nice upgrade from the shower in the bath and it’s fiddly to get the right temperature.

The property has a decent size room with a large wardrobe for clothes. Very clean and a nice variety of breakfast choices. Kathleen was a lot of fun to talk with and we enjoyed her knowledge of the area.

It’s not a didn’t like, but it is tricky to get to in the car, if you have a large car, there are some tight turns, certainly the way we went was.

We missed having our own kettle in our room (there was one downstairs which everyone could use) as we like to have a hot drink in bed first thing! Don’t go to 3 in 1 takeaways for fish and chips. To be fair, Kathleen recommended somewhere else which we didn’t find!

The room was very comfortable, the breakfasts were great with a good choice & it was nice having somewhere to sit in the evening other than in our room.
