Das Frühstück ist bis ins kleinste Detail liebevoll vorbereitet: frisches Brot und Croissants, hervorragender Kaffee und sogar geschältes, schön geschnittenes Obst. Alles ist makellos sauber, die Einrichtung elegant und dezent. Definitiv ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkehrt.

Erg kleine badkamer en WC. Van de twee douchekoppen werkte er een niet. Water liep niet vlot genoeg weg waardoor gehele vloer badkamer nat werd. Luchtafzuiger maakte veel lawaai.

Stairs were very narrow, not a place for anyone with mobility issues. This is Europe and that is just how the stairs are.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026La localisation était top. Le quartier est très joli, calme mais en même temps à proximité de plein de bar et restaurants. L’hôtel est idéalement situé, pas loin du centre mais aussi du quartier de Pijp. Nous nous sommes garés au parking Apcoa (20€/24h en weekend) situé à moins de 10mn à pied. Le lit était confortable et la chambre fidèle aux photos. Le petit-déjeuner est correct.
Le petit bémol de la chambre était la lumière de la salle de bain qui n’a pas d’interrupteur mais a un détecteur de mouvement. Par conséquent, si vous devez vous y rendre la nuit, impossible de s’échapper de la lumière qui s’allumera automatiquement.

Colazione ottima e abbondante, letti comodi e Paulo, portoghese di origini, il proprietario tuttofare gentilissimo e molto simpatico, nonostante la barriera linguistica, non avendo molta dimestichezza noi con l'inglese e il portoghese, tantomeno con l'olandese. Grazie Paulo per la tua simpatia che ci ha messo a nostro agio

Als je slecht ter been bent kannhet trapje een uitdaging zijn. Maar daar waarschuwen ze ook eerlijk voor op de website. Als twee 70-ers hadden we er geen enkel probleem mee.

It is very damp, with a noticeable smell of mold. The ventilation system is located right above the bed, is extremely noisy, and cannot be turned off.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2025The host Paulo is very friendly, and the experience was very easy from start to finish. The booking process was very simple and the provided instructions for check-in were very detailed. Paulo provided a delicious breakfast each morning with fresh fruit, pastries, and eggs cooked to your liking. He had great recommendations for what to check out in the city. The location was also fantastic and very central to the main attractions Amsterdam has to offer - 20 min. walk to Anne Frank House, 15 min. walk to Heineken Experience, etc. There are also great restaurants, bars, and coffeeshops within a 1-2 mile radius of the B&B. The room was clean and perfect for our 3-day stay.
These were not things we did not like, per se, more just some FYIs. The stairs to enter the rooms in the basement are very narrow and steep (Paulo helps you bring your luggage up and down). Also, the shower does not have a full barrier so water can get on the bathmat so just be careful.

Reviewed Feb 18, 2025the location was amazing. my partner and I were working/studying abroad - the space is not enough if you both have calls. however as the location was so central and convenient, we were able to go to different cafes and work spaces, such as the OBA public library that Paulo kindly recommended the best part about the property was Paulo. He really made the stay - such an attentive, thoughtful and accommodating person. Breakfast upstairs each day was such a lovely experience for my partner and I, we miss the vibes already! Couldn’t recommend the property more.
