The location and staff

I had many issues with my room, Photos didn’t match, wifi doesn’t work, smelled, water in the bathroom floor couldn’t escape because the water didn’t flow to the drain

Staff are very nice and really appreciate the luggage storage.

Our room was on the ground flooor, literally behind the reception and right next to the stairs and we had been woken up by stomps and people talking inside and outside.

Portaita paljon ja ne olivat jyrkkiä. Käytävän meteli kuului huoneeseen. Huoneen Hinta oli aivan käsittämätön laatuun nähden.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich hat direkt geholfen beim Check in. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich würde dort für einen kurz Urlaub wieder buchen

Location, close to the train station

The room was so noisy we were unable to sleep and were changed to a less noisy room, the carpet are old and dirty, there are stairs all over and difficult to carry luggage, the coffee machine at the breakfast room was not working , and I could go on and on. It was a very disappointing experience, specially for the price.

Limpeza da acomodação péssima. Achei uma roupa íntima usada de outro hóspede no quarto que me instalaram.

- The Hotel is located at the center of the city, about midway between the Central Station and the Dam square, and very close to many landmarks and tourist attractions as well as public transport links. - The Hotel's immediate neighborhood is full of restaurants. While many of them are blatant tourist traps (as befitting a city center as overtourismed as Amsterdam's), due to the sheer amount of restaurants, there are enough places that can satisfy the palates of a more discerning diner. My particular recommendations are Dal Pagliaccio (Italian), Kamasutra (Indian), and Little Saigon (Vietnamese). - The Hotel has excellent services; the reception was very knowledgeable and very helpful, there's a rack of coupons offering various discounts in prominent restaurants and tourist attractions, and the Taxi service to Schiphol was a life-saver given the sheer amount of luggage I was travelling with (which made for a torturous walk from the Central Station to the hotel; thankfully I only needed to do it at check-in and check-out!).

- Due to the constraints of the building(s) it's in, the Hotel's interior is labyrinthine and its floors are spread across multiple levels - for example, to get to my room, I had to take an elevator to floor 2, and take a flight of stairs to a higher portion of the same floor that's almost as high as the floor above the previous portion. - The room was very small - by far the smallest I have ever stayed in. While this did make for a cozy environment (and also encouraged me to come out and about and explore the city), it was also inconvenient as I was travelling with a lot of luggage and couldn't even unpack it all properly. - The Hotel's Wi-Fi started out in good working order, but deteriorated to the point of unusability by the end of the trip. - The room had only one electric plug, which makes things inconvenient for travelers who have multiple electronic devices (such as me; I travel with a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, and smartwatch) or who want to carge their device whole using the room's provided coffeemaker at the same time. - The hotel room doesn't have a fridge. This means I could not refrigerate the bottle of water I bought (a necessity in 30-degree weather!). - The Check-in is automated, which made for some adjustment difficulties on my part.

The bed sheets had someone else's hair all over them and the room generally was unhygienic to be in.

L’hôtel est très bien situé, à proximité de tout. On trouve facilement des magasins, des restaurants, des boutiques de souvenirs ainsi que de nombreuses sorties et activités. Un emplacement vraiment pratique pour profiter pleinement du séjour sans avoir besoin de beaucoup se déplacer.

Notre séjour a malheureusement été marqué par plusieurs problèmes concernant les chambres et certains services de l’hôtel. Dans la première chambre, la climatisation était constamment en marche et faisait beaucoup de bruit. Nous avons également constaté la présence de cheveux, de la poussière et un ménage qui n’était pas réalisé correctement. La tête de lit était par ailleurs abîmée. La fenêtre de la salle de bain ne s’ouvrait pas et était remplie de moisissures. Après avoir constaté l’état de cette première chambre, nous avons immédiatement demandé à en changer. Dans la deuxième chambre, nous avons malheureusement rencontré d’autres problèmes. Des odeurs de remontées d’égout étaient présentes dans la salle de bain et l’eau avait tendance à stagner dans la douche. La température de l’eau était également très instable, passant parfois du brûlant au froid. La chambre était équipée d’un double vitrage avec une double fenêtre, ce qui rendait l’aération assez compliquée. La climatisation était toujours en marche et faisait également du bruit. Nous avons aussi remarqué un trou dans la housse de couette, ainsi que des taches sur les draps et les serviettes alors qu’ils sont normalement censés être propres et lavés. Enfin, le Wi-Fi est annoncé comme gratuit mais après avoir fonctionné correctement pendant environ deux jours, il a commencé à avoir des problèmes et à déconner régulièrement. Dans l’ensemble, nous avons été assez déçus par la qualité des chambres, la propreté et les différents problèmes rencontrés pendant notre séjour. Nous espérions une meilleure expérience.

Super Lage, sehr gute Frühstück, nette Personal.

L’emplacement parfait pour visiter, très central et à proximité des restaurants etc. Le tram et le métro est à 7 minutes donc impeccable. La literie est vraiment bien même s’il faut l’apprivoiser parce que c’est un matelas qui bouge à chaque mouvement.

Le personnel … impersonnel et pas du tout souriant. La dame du petit déjeuner n’est pas du tout accueillante et agréable, pas un sourire. Le petit déjeuner ne vaut pas le coup pour moi néanmoins les produits frais sont du vrai fromage et du vrai jambon c’est déjà ça. La propreté était relative (j’ai dû bouger une table de nuit et derrière il y avait une peau de banane entre autre. Il y a une machine à café mais pas de frigo. À payer si vous arrivez plus tôt, vous payez pour partir plus tard et bonbon néanmoins moi avec une patte folle je n’ai pas pu rester dans la chambre et pas une minute de plus… par contre, j’ai pu rester dans les fauteuils du lobby en attendant de partir pour le train. Ils auraient être plus aimables je pense.

Учтите, что отель находится в самом центре, возможен шум под вашими окнами. Но это уже не претензия к отелю.

I liked the location.

The room was too tiny, smelled of mold, the elevator was broken 3 consecutive days and we were on the top floor.

Staff very friendly. Location is very close to the central station and all the city centre action. Shower powerful and hot.

Furnishings very worn and unclean. Room was tiny. Bathroom very small and had to negotiate with the sink in order to be able sit on the toilet. The bathroom seemed clean but dated and tired. Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Bedsheets were clean but I didn't dare put my bare feet on the carpets. Air conditioner was very dirty and full of dust, kind of disgusting really. Room also smelt musty and in need of ventilation. The whole hotel is constructed in a very weird way and there are many small staircases going up and down between exiting lifts and reaching rooms. Not a problem if you don't have mobility issues, just weird.

Central to Amsterdam.Staff were friendly.

I assumed most hotels were OK for disabled people. Too many stairs and not all had handrails. Breakfast was very basic. Cafe like. Building works with heavy crane right outside our bedroom window. Start work at 0700.Bed was uncomfortable.

We kwamen aan om 13u, inchecken was vanaf 15u. Men vertelde ons dat onze kamer klaar was en we er vroeger in konden mits een vergoeding. Dan maar de begageruimte gebruikt.

We arrived after midnight to find the door to our hotel room wide open being held open with a towel and the room stunk of smoke - all of our luggage now also smells of this.

La posizione e la gentilezza dello staf di accoglienza. Colazione abbondante con pochi dolci. La prima volta che abbiamo usato la doccia , mancava sia il sapone che lo shampo; mancavano gli asiugamani normali e mancava il tappetino sia esterno che antiscivilo all'interno della doccia.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Dam Square was within walking distance, and we were able to get to the places we wanted to visit very quickly. I think the location is probably the best thing about this hotel. I would give it 10 out of 10. Another thing I liked was how well the hotel uses technology. You can check in and check out by yourself, which was quite impressive.

The layout of the room wasn't very good. It was very cramped, and it was difficult to move around. Water from the shower also leaked onto the bathroom floor. The hotel corridors were also quite poorly maintained. Getting to our room felt like navigating a maze of narrow corridors. Even though the hotel had a lift, we still had to carry our luggage up and down additional stairs to reach the room, which was quite inconvenient. On the first day, we were provided with the correct towels. However, after the room was cleaned on the following days, the bath mat and hand/face towels were not replaced. Instead, we were only given large bath towels. The internet connection was very poor. I had to use it for a job interview, but my connection kept dropping. I thought the Wi-Fi might just be weak in the room, so I went down to the lobby, but I had the same connection problems there. I also tried using mobile data on my phone inside the hotel, but the signal was very weak. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to properly finish what I needed to do. Considering how much I paid, I wasn't satisfied with the service I received at all. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. There were better hotels available for a similar price, but I chose this one because of its location. In hindsight, it would have been better to stay at a nicer hotel and walk a little further.

Schimmel im ersten Zimmer, welcher zuerst nur "geputzt" wurde. Zum Glück haben wir ein anderes Zimmer erhalten. Ebenfalls war die Klimaanlage manchmal sehr laut.

Needs a refresh eg shower tray was chipped, yellowing on plastic hardware. Pillows - either need to be bigger or more of them in each room.

Amazing location for getting around Amsterdam. The staff throughout our stay were outstanding! We were able to store our bags before check in and after checking out to save us carrying them around the city with us. One of our group forgot an adapter and one of the staff members lent us one to use whilst we were waiting for our coach.

The room was very clean, however the bathroom is very small. Makes it a bit difficult to get changed and sorted after a shower. There is also no light near the mirror in the main room so the bathroom mirror is the only useful one.

Het hotel ligt in het centrum van Amsterdam op wandelafstand van het Centraal Station, het personeel was behulpzaam, ik kon bijvoorbeeld de dag zelf het ontbijt nog bijboeken. De badkamer was ruim en comfortabel.

Toen ik in de kamer toekwam, was er nog een natte plek voor de kleerkast in het tapijt. Misschien door het reinigen van het tapijt of uit de badkamer? Toen ik een douche nam, hing er eerst ook een beetje een muf geurtje, maar met het lopen van het water verdween dat gelukkig.

Posizione eccezionale per chi vuole visitare la città, questo hotel è comodo da raggiungere in auto, con possibilità di avere un parcheggio pubblico sotterraneo a 100 metri (non economico!). Personale molto disponibile e cordiale. Colazione discreta, ma ok per il prezzo pagato.

C'è moquette ovunque, che può piacere o non piacere... L'accesso alle camere è molto angusto, con scale ripidissime e non in linea con i nostri standard di sicurezza.

La zona in cui si trova l'hotel è molto rumorosa, finestre inadatte e poco iinsonorizzanti, l'aria condizionata è centralizzata e la camera risultava un forno non potendo regolare la temperatura, su booking avevo pagato per avere la colazione, mentre in hotel non risultava e non c'è stato modo di fargli cambiare idea

Everything was great ! Check in super easy and staff very nice. My room specifically was kind of noisy (you could hear the floor above very loud - walking, talking, etc..). My brother's had a moldy smell so they changed his room and it was better !

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The building is a little old, but it is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. I checked in at night and the reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location is perfect right in the centre and very convenient. When I checked out the daytime reception staff were also very helpful and kindly offered to keep my luggage so I could enjoy the rest of my day. Overall I had a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again! 😊

Ik heb gevraagd om in de ochtend telefonisch gewekt te worden om 8.30 uur en ik werd 8 minuten later gewekt. Dat had beter gekund.

Καθαριότητα δεν ήταν καλή σε όλους σχεδόν τους χώρους . Κακή συντήρηση γενικότερα του ξενοδοχείου. Στενό πολύ το δωμάτιο και τα στρώματα είχαν θέμα σταθερότητας... Wifi δεν έπιανε καθόλου στο δωμάτιο και ούτε σήμα για δεδομένα είχε το δωμάτιο λόγω θέσης...1 ενισχυτή σήματος για το wifi τουλάχιστον δεν ξέρουν να βάλουν;;;;;

The room and hotel were very good and it was located around 5 mins from Amsterdam Centraal station. The room was large and comfortable. The location allowed us to do a lot of walking around Amsterdam and near to lots of food and drink options.

The room was large enough to allow a small fridge but didn't have one. The stay was during the heatwave of June / July 2026 and this would have allowed us to keep our drinks and fruit cold.

the room was damp and had a damp moldy kinda smell at first but once we blasted the A/C it went away
