Ce n’est pas leur faute mais il y a des travaux tout autour de l’auberge, de 9h à 16h tous les jours sauf dimanche - pas idéal pour se relaxer

Very friendly family and great breakfast

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit lieber Gastgeberin. Sie konnte sich in Englisch gut verständigen. Die Lage ist am Ende am Besten zu Fuß zu erreichen, aber trotzdem mit einem Auto ca 5min vorher befahrbar. Sehr schönes Zimmer, sauber und tolles Frühstück mir Blick in die Natur und auf den Wasserfall. Wir hatten sogar Glück genau den Zug unten am Hotel zu sehen.

We had an amazing stay at Ella Elegance View Homestay - the view is wonderful. The family is so nice and tries to make everything work. They did our laundry and arranged a Tuk Tuk to Dyaluma Waterfalls. The breakfast was exceptional - everyday we got something else. Thank you so much. Would always come back! P.S.: The walk up is a short and effective workout.

Pokój i łazienka przestronne i bardzo czyste. Łóżko wygodne, duże i czysta pościel. Piękny widok z tarasu. Bardzo sympatyczni i pomocni gospodarze. Smaczne śniadania. Torami ok 10 min. do centrum

Dosyć strome podejście do hotelu, ale dla nas nie był to problem.

Desayuno casero, hecho por la dueña, la terraza, la amabilidad y disponibilidad de los dueños, en general todo muy bien.

Séjour exceptionnel : la vue depuis la terrasse est splendide, le petit-déjeuner est excellent et la propriétaire est d’une grande gentillesse. L’établissement est situé à une dizaine de minutes à pied du centre-ville, ce qui permet de profiter d’un environnement paisible, à l’écart de l’agitation (centre assez bruyant). Un super restaurant se trouve à seulement trois minutes de marche.

Es gibt eine wunderschöne Aussicht! Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber geputzt, und die Eigentümer sehr nett! Das Frühstück war ebenso sehr gut und frisch gemacht! Nach Ella ist es nicht weit, nur ca 10 Minuten und man hat es schön ruhig!

Die Unterkunft lag etwas außerhalb daher war es sehr ruhig. Über die Schienen war man aber in nur 10-15 Minuten in der Stadt. Die Gastgeberin war super nett und hat uns jeden Tag mit einem leckeren und abwechslungsreichen Frühstück versorgt. Wir konnten sogar dort unsere Wäsche waschen lassen! Das Zimmer war super - alles was man braucht und sehr sauber.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette charmante famille avec deux petits enfants adorables qui vous accueillent avec des éclats de rire et des dessins ! La chambre est spacieuse, joliment décorée. Très grand lit confortable, moustiquaire. Elle est située dans l’un des “quartiers” les plus jolis d’Ella puisque loin de la foule du centre ville, en hauteur avec une vue sublime sur la nature et la cascade ( Kital waterfall). Tous les matins, c’est un bonheur de prendre son excellent petit déjeuner sur la jolie terrasse “privative” de la chambre face à une vue à couper le souffle et avec le chant des oiseaux. Non loin de la voie ferrée, il vous suffit de la suivre à pied pour rejoindre la rail way station et donc le centre ville ou pour faire la jolie randonnée Ella Rock. Nous recommandons très vivement ce homestay ! Coup de cœur assuré!

Fantastic View of the waterfall, very comfortable room with hot shower. Delicious breakfast and thoughtful staff. Wished we stayed longer.

There is a terrace with a beautiful view of the waterfall and Ella Rock. The location is good, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Ella town, but the way there is quite steep. However, it’s worth it. Family made us breakfast which was very tasty, we had a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and it was a little different each day.

I loved this stay! It really felt like home! I can 100% recommend. You ‘ll get nice clean room, and beautiful terase for yourself. The host are incredibly kind people, there are there if you need them but you still have your privacy. I would love to come again. Thank you🙏🏻

This was an absolutely perfect stay. The accommodation is not in the busy, noisy part of town, but its location is ideal, offering a beautiful walk with stunning views. The terrace was simply spectacular. The host family was wonderful—very welcoming and always ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, and we even requested an extra lunch, which they prepared for us—a homemade meal that was both delicious and very generous in portion. Everything about our stay was perfect. Highly recommended!

3 generational family homestay, amazing waterfall view from terrace and short walk into town

Clean and well equipped room 10 minutes away from Kandy town center. I really appreciated the tranquility of this homestay and the view out of the room and from the balcony was incredible. The family was really friendly. A typical Sri Lankean breakfast was served on the balcony.

One of the best experiences we’ve ever had at "Elegance View" in Ella! We felt truly welcomed and cared for by the kindest family. The hospitality was incredible—especially the warmth of the host and her lovely mother-in-law. Every morning, they prepared a delicious homemade meal that was simply unforgettable. We’re already missing it!

Managed by a very kind family, amazing view on Ella rock, little Adams Peak, and a waterfall. Great breakfast.

Steep hill not reachable by car or tuk-tuk (few metres down ok). Staira to get to the house somewhat challenging.

It was our first time at a Homestay and we felt very lucky to be staying with such a lovely family. They were very welcoming from the minute we got there until we left. They went above and beyond with everything and the breakfast was amazing! It was different everyday with lots of different Sri Lankan dishes to try and loads of food! The balcony is massive and the view we had was incredible. We felt very relaxed staying here. They also have 2 very cute children!

The homestay is run by a lovely family that always made sure we had all we needed. The view from the room is amazing, homecooked local food for breakfast (each day something new) was delicious and the location was great (only 10-15 minutes from Ella city). We had a wonderful time!

I received a warm and friendly welcome, enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared with care, and made me feel at home. I highly recommend this place. The view of Ella Rock is fantastic, but it’s only complete with this particular family. Location can be reached with a car or tuk-tuk but from Ella City you can arrive to the property in less than 10 min following the train railway. You can enjoy the view and also check the Budhist temple which is nearby. Separate entrance and If requested laundry available at very reasonable price. Fridge and wifi available.

Big private balcony with amazing view. Room is comfortabel with fridge and kettle. The host and her family were lovely. She even did our laundry.

Great view with amazing sunrise, the hosts were very kind and supportive. Only one room with big balcony, so good privacy. Food was delicious as well. Would come back anytime.

A really lovely guest house. The family were friendly and the room clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious 😋 it's super peaceful up in the hills.

It's a little far from the town

Very clean, modern & comfortable room with an incredible view. The best bed in Sri Lanka so far! It’s a 10min walk out of town but it’s great to be away from the noise & amongst the wildlife. The family was very welcoming & we extended our stay from two nights to six because we loved it so much. Highly recommend!

It was hard to find the place, location on booking maps is not quite right, so we spent almost 30 minutes, looking for a place, and turned out it has no sign, the host eventually met us on the road.
