Największym plusem tego hotelu były widok z okna oraz duży przestronny pokój.

Brak klimatyzacji, okno z założoną siatką w łazience - okna nie dało się zamknąć, a siatka była dziurawa. Śniadanie ubogie, jajko, tost, dżem i banan.

Clean room. Hot showers. Very tasty breakfast offered. Great view over Ella Rock. Host was very kind and attentive.

There is a steep hill to climb coming and going from the hotel. Cars and vans cannot use the road due to this reason, so luggage is transferred via a Tuk-Tuk the hotel owns. This is not a criticism of the hotel but something people need to be aware of.

Good location, nice view

Where to even start ... We travel a lot and we wouldn't say our standards are especially high, but this was a shocking experience. The door to the bathroom was constantly stuck so we had huge issues opening it every time. However, our biggest issue was the hygienic standard: dirty bedsheets, mold in the bathroom. The net on bathroom's window was uneven, so animals/insects kept coming in. There is no shower cabin, meaning everytime one showers the whole bathroom is completely wet, including the toilet. Besides that, we got a room with zero privacy, since people could easily see us trough the big untinted glass windows, the sound insulation was also inexistent - a guy kept waking us up at 3am because he was talking on this phone. The most inappropriate event happened on the day of our check-out (which was at 10am), when the housemaid just walked straight into our room at 9am and started to turn off the lights, arranging things ... She was always acting nice and sweet (borderline too sweet, already fake), but at the very moment when we paid the exact amount stated on booking (without any tip because we were really unsatisfied), the turned the plate and didn't even look at us anymore, she just walked away. We really tried to get as many positives out of this stay but when this many things go wrong, you simply cannot deny yourself anymore. There are many better (and cheaper) stays in Ella, so we definitely do not recommend the place.

Sehr freundliches Personal, leckeres Frühstück, außergewöhnliche Aussicht, sehr zentral zur Innenstadt, rundum ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt! Jederzeit wieder!!!

The view is amazing and it is in a quiet area away from the centre of town. The lady running the home stay was very nice and helpful.

There is a very steep hill to get down/up to the property from the road - but that’s why there is the view!

Le fait de ne pas avoir d’air climatisé n’est pas un enjeu en soi, mais il serait très pertinent d’ajouter des portes moustiquaires. Cela permettrait de laisser entrer l’air frais de la nuit sans crainte.

ok for the value. Breakfast simple but not bad.

They only accept cash, they should put this in the description. The rooms don't have much privacy, as the doors are windows and our was just at the entrance of the establishment so we could/hear everybody passing. Also, we didn't have any view, or view was to the "lobby". Bathroom cleanliness was not veery good and you had to swipe all the water every time you use the "shower". Bed was noisy and uncomfortable. The access to the hotel is complicated, our driver couldn't drive to take us to the door and is very dark at night.

Everything was perfect! Honestly, it was my favorite place I stayed in Sri Lanka. The view from the balcony was incredible, and the woman working at the hotel was so kind!

Location is good, walking distance to main street in Ella. Comfortable bed.

The bathroom smelt very musty & damp after use. Also worth noting you need to climb up & down relatively steep slopes to get to & from the homestay. It was fine for us with backpacks but might be a struggle for some.

The front porch was a great place to read a book and enjoy the view. The owner allowed us to move to a room with a better view, as it was available. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Walking distance to the centre of the town.

It was a bit hard to reach. The car couldn't go down the hill so it required walking down and up the steep hill each time you go out and in. It woud be great to if the view would allow to see the sunrise or sunset, but there were trees and the building next door covering a big part of the scene.

The property is a few minutes walk from the main area but still really quiet. The breakfast view was amazing. I really liked how they had a mosquito net over the beds. Shower pressure was fine. Place felt clean. The owner and staff were accommodating.

Breakfast could use some protein but the fruit was fresh and pancake was good too. A slight uphill and downhill walk to main area of the town but it isn't as bad as it looks.

Die Lage war super. Es führt zwar ein steiler Berg zur Unterkunft, aber für uns war das kein Problem. Wir konnten viel zu Fuß unternehmen. Unser Zimmer war groß und für unseren Aufenthalt super.

Location and comfort and price.

Staff were brilliant and helped with info and booking tuk tuks. They washed our laundry really well and at a good price. Views from the balcony of Ella Rock was exceptional. Great breakfast. Excellent location for hijes along the Pekoe Trail and Little Adams Peak.

A couple of times there was no hot water in the bathroom, but not really a big deal. Walk from the property to and from the main road is quite steep but is only short so ok if you are use to walking a lot.

Es ist sehr ruhig und man kann ausschließlich Tiergeräusche hören, obwohl die Bars und Restaurants quasi um die Ecke sind. Um in die Unterkunft zu kommen bzw. in die Stadt zu gehen, muss man einen recht steilen Weg überwinden. In der Dunkelheit ist der Weg nicht beleuchtet. Man braucht unbedingt eine Tschenlampe!! Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Die Dame des Hauses ist sehr herzlich.

The property is located just off the main road so super close to everything but far enough away that it was nice and quiet. The view is stunning from the balcony, and the bed was the comfiest one I’ve had in Sri Lanka so far.

-Personal (einer der Mitarbeiter sprach an mehreren Tagen nur zum Mann und nicht zur Frau, meine Frau wurde beispielsweise nicht mal gefragt ob sie Kaffee oder Tee möchte…) -Bad hat sehr stark gestunken aus dem Abfluss -Nachm Duschen war das komplette Bad inklusive Toilette und Klopapier nass -Kaffee morgens war nur heisses Wasser - Es wurde nicht darauf hingewiesen dass das Frühstück extra kostet

De vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Echter (Casper) de man die alles regelde en tips gaf wat te doen, waar je het beste kon eten en een excursie kon regelen gaf aan de dag voor ons vertrek iets anders te gaan doen. Dit is echt een aderlating. Ontbijt was top. En het uitzicht op de Ella Rock was waanzinnig. De B&B is rustig gelegen.

De heuvel van uit de B&B naar de hoofdweg is een flinke steile klim. De steile klim is voor een taxi niet te doen. Echter een Tuk Tuk heeft er geen moeite mee.. Maar het B&B en het uitzicht maakt alles weer goed.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja w pobliżu centrum Ella - jednocześnie z kapitalnym widokiem na las deszczowy. Bardzo czysto. Pokój zadbany i dobrze wyposażony. Cena pobytu wręcz śmieszna.

Słabe Wi-Fi. Trudny dojazd i wyjazd.

Die Lage zur Stadt ist sehr gut. Nur wenige Gehminuten und man ist im Stadtkern von Ella. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer auf die Berge war toll.

Das Zimmer war wirklich nicht sauber. Die Gardinen waren mit Flecken übersäht und die Wände waren komplett verdreckt und das Bettzeug war vergilbt. Ich habe mich nicht wohlgefühlt.

Du är i centrum men är i en brant dal nerför en backe och har en fantastisk utsikt mot bergen, så inget trafikljud, bara djuren som hörs! Väldigt välstädat och fräscht! Härlig balkong med bekväma stolar, så härligt att sitta där. Vi blev mätta av frukosten (frukt, omelett, pannkakor, bröd, kaffe/the). Trevlig personal!

Sängen var lite för smal för oss, vi gillar 180 cm bred säng. Lite lyhört.

Tolles familiengeführtes Hotel, welches nur wenige Schritte von der Hauptstrasse, mitten im Dschungel gelegen ist. Die Ruhe und die grüne Natur ist ein starker Kontrast zur sonst sehr touristischen Stadt Ella. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück besteht aus vielen frischern Früchten, Toast und Pani Pol (gefüllte Pfannkuchen).

Nichts, wir haben den Aufenthalt und die Ruhe sehr genossen. Ein Pool würde das Paradies eventuell noch kompletieren.

De locatie is dicht bij het centrum en is aan te lopen. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en altijd open voor een praatje. Het uitzicht vanuit de accommodatie op Ella rock is fantastisch

Om van de accommodatie naar het centrum te komen loop je een stijle heuvel op. Voor ons goed te doen, maar als je slechter ter been bent is dit mogelijk moeilijker

Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend, er hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben, dass man sich wohl fühlt und alles hat, was man braucht. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super für Wanderungen und man ist auch direkt im Ortskern.

The house is big and good located, you are in the middle of nature but can reach the city center in 5 minutes on foot. Easy to reach also on foot the main attractions of Ella. Delicious breakfast and nice staff.

The bathroom has really a strong bad smell which is not nice at all in such a beautiful room.

Habitación con terraza y buenas vistas a ella rock, ubicación tranquila y cerca de la calle principal de los restaurantes. Cpmienzo de la caminata de Little Adam’s Peak y del camino a Nine arch cerca del hotel.

Hay un templo muy cerquita que bien prontito a la mañana ponen el rezo por los altavoces pero nada que unos buenos tapones no arreglen

Rustig guesthouse met erachter een mooie groene omgeving.

Van de hoofdweg naar het guesthouse ligt een klein weggetje dat erg stijl is. Auto's kunnen er niet naar beneden. Guesthouse kwam de koffers met tuktuk halen. Het was een flinke aanslag op de knieën om te lopen.

La posizione della struttura é perfetta, basta fare una salita dal luogo dove si trova e si arriva nella strada principale di Ella dove ci sono tutti i negozi e i ristoranti. La colazione si adatta a tutte le nazionalità con cibo Sri Lankese, inglese e colazione dolce. Il proprietario é gentilissimo, ti dà i consigli giusti riguardo i posti da vedere, i ristoranti dove andare, ti procura il driver, il tuktuk o la moto se dovessi averne di bisogno per gli spostamenti. La vista dalla camera é meravigliosa, la struttura é immersa nella giungla ed é possibile vedere anche le scimmiette che si muovono tra gli alberi.

Non é prevista la pulizia in camera ogni giorno e le tovaglie fornite da loro non sono molto pulite.

Hotel muito confortável com anfitriões muito simpáticos, ternurentos e prestativos! Excelente experiência que recomendamos a qualquer um. A vista do hotel é muito bonita e o lugar muito tranquilo.

Die Freundlichkeit des jungen Verwalters des Hotels war beispiellos. Er war immer ansprechbar, höflich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage mit Blick auf den Ella Rock ist ein Traum.

Sehr schönes Hotel in guter Lage mit sehr nettem Gastgeber. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Leider hat in einem unserer Zimmer das Bad streng gerochen. Da wir nur eine Nacht da waren, hat's nicht so gestört.

El dueño del hotel es encantador y la ubicación del mismo es muy buena, a 5' del centro andando. Las vistas son preciosas. Ofrecen desayuno y está muy bien por el precio que tiene.

La habitación que nos tocó correspondía con las medidas pero no era cómoda. Todas las ventanas dan al sitio que utilizan para hacer el check in y a la entrada de la calle por lo que no tienes ni intimidad ni luz si tienes que cerrar las cortinas. Pensamos que tendría vistas porqué indicaba "vistas al jardín" pero no era asi. Sugerimos comprobar que tenga "vistas a la montaña" y asegurarse de que no te toca esa habitación porqué es bastante violento.

De weg er naartoe was niet goed te doen voor onze minibus. We moesten dan ook wel klein bergweggetje op en aflopen als we naar Ella liepen. Wel lekker dichtbij restaurantjes en winkeltjes.

Vistas increíbles desde el balcón de las habitaciones. Personal muy atento y amable, nos ayudo con todo.

A un paso del centro a pesar de la super cuesta. Desayunos inmejorables en la terraza con vistas a Ella Rock. Camas cómodas. Para repetir.

Podían mejorarse la calidad de las sábanas. Los monjes empiezan a cantar a las 5 de la mañana....pero claro, esto.bonse puede cambiar ;-)

El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado, pero fuera de las principales calles (mucho mejor porque hay mucha contaminación y ruido de tuk tuk y coches). Las habitaciones están limpias y hay agua caliente. Se nota que es bastante nuevo. El desayuno estuvo genial. El personal fue súper amable con nosotros y nos recomendó restaurantes.

Hay una pequeña cuesta para llegar al alojamiento.

We verbleven 4 dagen in grote, ruime, schone kamers, net als op de foto's, met een prachtig uitzicht, comfortabele, grote bedden, een groot smakelijk ontbijt, goede locatie, dichtbij verschillende restaurants aardige eigenaren, rust en stilte.

Enige minpunt is de donkere weg waarlangs je moet lopen om in de stad terecht te komen (meer straatverlichting zou fijn zijn).

Il bagno ogni tanto esalava cattivi odori

L’emplacement est génial. Tu as une super vue sur la montagne et tu peux te déplacer à pied dans la ville depuis l’hôtel. L’hôte est très accueillant et donne de très bons conseils pour les restau et visites. Les chambres sont très propres et spacieuse.

Posizione ottima: tranquilla e lontana dal caos, ma comunque vicina al centro. Vista splendida. Camera pulita, con letto dotato di tenda (dettaglio non da poco in posti così). Personale molto accogliente e disponibile.

Excellent value for money. The room is very nice and clean, the breakfast is very complete and the views are stunning. Plus it is just 3 min walk to all restaurants and shops.
