estaba un poquito alejado del “centro” del pueblo, aunque el tuktuk solo cuesta unas 500 rupias, lo que son 1€ aprox. de todas formas, esto no fue un inconveniente para nada

El personal es muy amable. En plena naturaleza y con unas vistas espectaculares. Está a menos de 10 minutos andando de la calle principal de Ella por el camino junto a la vía del tren. El desayuno buenísimo.

Excellent location, very easy walk along the train tracks into town (less than 10 min). Clean and comfortable. Not fancy, but that wasn’t what we were looking for at this price point. Breakfast tasted great! And the view was unbeatable from both the room and the breakfast area.

A few minor maintenance things needed attention: the toilet seat was loose and the sink faucet was also loose.

The road to access the property has a lot of ups and downs and is in a bit bad condition.

Staff are lovely and the location is great.

L’emplacement dans la nature avec une belle vue sur la vallée. À quelques minutes du centre d’Ella et à proximité des centres d’intérêt. Chambre confortable et le petit déjeuner était complet et excellent. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants, très gentils et bienveillants.

Posizione fantastica con vista diretta dal letto della camera sulla valle di Ella. Staff gentile e disponibile, colazione completa ed abbondante. Con una passeggiata sui binari di circa 5 minuti si arriva nel centro di Ella.

Het uitzicht was fenomenaal! En het ontbijt was uitmuntend. En dat voor die prijs! Ober het spoor loop je zo het centrum in. Ze zijn nog in opbouw en dat zie je een beetje. Maar daar heb je geen last van. Het is echt top!

La famille nous a très bien accueilli et très attentionné. La vue est très jolie et la terrasse est très appréciable. Le petit déjeuné préparé par la famille était super.

La salle de bain était humide, peu de pression dans la douche.

Un lloc molt acollidor, al costat del centre però sense soroll. Kamar, el noi que ho porta s’ha portat excel•lentment amb nosaltres. Vistes espectaculars, i l’esmorzar genial. També lo vam llogar la bici!

Largement surévalué par rapport aux standards habituels dans le.pays... le prix n'est pas justifié par rapport au type de chambre (pas de.clim, pression de la.douche très faible) et par rapport à la.localisation difficile à atteindre, passage par la voie de chemin de fer en marchant sur les rails alors que le train y passe...

Très jolie vue de la chambre et très bon emplacement pour le départ des randonnées et rejoindre le centre ville. Petit déjeuner Sri Lankais exceptionnel !

I have been traveling around Sri Lanka and have stayed in several 5-star hotels in Colombo, but the level of service and genuine hospitality I experienced here was truly exceptional. For me, the two most important things when choosing accommodation are cleanliness and good blackout curtains, as I can’t sleep if daylight comes into the room. This place exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, the towels were always fresh, and the blackout curtains made it easy to get a great night’s sleep. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. We were greeted with fresh juice, tea, and coffee, and the owners made us feel at home straight away. They are incredibly kind, caring, and always happy to help. Throughout our stay, they regularly checked if everything was okay and if we needed anything, which made us feel truly looked after. Breakfast was another highlight. You simply let them know what time you would like to eat, and everything is prepared fresh for you. They also showed us a convenient shortcut to the town, making it only a 7–10 minute walk, which was very helpful. You can really feel that the owners put their heart into this place and genuinely care about every guest. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. We had a fantastic stay and sincerely wish you many kind and respectful guests in the future. We would be happy to stay here again!

La nostra estada al Divine View Homestay va ser immillorable. L’habitació estava impecable, molt neta i amb un llit molt còmode que ens va permetre descansar de meravella. L’esmorzar era deliciós i la família ens va tractar amb molta amabilitat, fent-nos sentir com a casa. El que fa realment especial aquest allotjament són les vistes espectaculars. Tant des de la terrasseta privada de l’habitació com des del lloc on se serveix l’esmorzar es poden contemplar uns paisatges impressionants que fan que l’experiència siga encara més especial. El recomanem al 100% i, si algun dia tornem a Ella, repetirem sense cap dubte.

Raggiungere il posto non è semplicissimo se non lo si sa con anticipo. Consigliamo di contattare i proprietari prima dell’arrivo per organizzare con loro un pick up agevole in un posto più comodo. Spostarsi poi per andare a Ella è invece molto comodo a piedi lungo i binari, ci vogliono meno di 10 minuti.

Saubere Zimmer, toller Blick. Leckeres, reichhaltiges Frühstück. Die Lage ist sowohl super um zum Ella Rock zu wandern, als auch um zu Fuß in 10 Minuten über die Gleise nach Ella zu laufen und ruhiger als direkt in der Stadt.

Sono stati molto gentili e la camera è come in foto. Inoltre, per chi vuole fare Ella’s Rock è perfetta come location perché seguendo i binari sei già sul trekking. Colazione ottima e vista bellissima. Plus il loro cagnolino di soli 2 mesi.

Loved the stay, the views are breathtaking. Little Adam’s peak, Ella rock, waterfalls you can see them all 😍The host is very helpful. Delicious breakfast. The host also showed us a shortcut via train track that takes you to city center in 10 mins. With luggage you can take a tuk tuk to reach.

Personal muy amable, habitaciones amplias, limpias y camas muy comodas. El desayuno muy bueno y las vistas espectaculares.

Nada, igual solo comentar que no se puede llegar con furgoneta grande, solo con tuk tuk o coche pequeño.

Las vistas son increibles, el personal muy amable, la habitacion espaciosa y las camas muy comodas.

Es verdad que está algo alejado de Ella (10min andando) que sería algo positivo si no te gusta el bullicio de la ciudad, pero hay un templo budista justo detrás que arrancaba los rezos a las 6am y continuaba varias veces durante el dia (al parecer solo en esta época del año y en realidad se oye en toda la zona, otros hoteles proximos tendrán el mismo problema). Si no fuera por eso ultimo, nuestra estancia hubiera sido perfecta.

Estaba todo perfecto, las personas de los apartamentos eran muy amables y atentos con todo. Es el sitio ideal.

Que estaba un poco lejos del centro, pero por el resto perfecto.

Un véritable coup de cœur ! Le cadre est superbe et offre une atmosphère très agréable. L’emplacement est parfait, à seulement 10 min à pied du centre, tout en restant calme. La chambre était grande, impeccable et très confortable, avec une spacieuse salle de bain. Tout était réuni pour passer un excellent séjour.

La simpatía de la pareja que gestiona la propiedad y las vistas, tanto desde la habitación como desde donde se desayuna. Totalmente recomendable, la habitación gigante, así como el baño, una buena terraza, vistas preciosas. El desayuno muy rico.

El aire acondicionado ha tenido una avería que le comenté al propietario, pero que no impidió disfrutar de la estadía.

Surrounded by nature and birds and beautiful view of the hills and waterfall

The views are amazing, waking up to the vast mountains landscape was truly a highlight. The owners of the place were lovely and kind, we even had an issue with water being turned off for an hour, but they resolved this and even washed some of our cloths as good will gesture. At the time we went, they had a puppy called shadow who was super cute and played with us in the evening. Even though the location seemed far from the town, there was a secret railway path that got us to town in about 8 minutes walk so worked out well.

Water pressure on the shower was really low and just made having a shower a bit hard.

Our family room at the Divine View Homestay was awesome. It was clean and we woke up to the most incredible sunrise views. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts while watching the monkeys! The owners were super friendly and helpful. We would stay again for sure.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the location was perfect, the breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable. Everything about our stay was excellent. ホテルスタッフはとても親切で助けになり、ロケーションも完璧でした。朝食は美味しく、部屋は清潔で快適です。滞在のすべてが最高でした。 I think the hotel had a wonderful atmosphere that blended beautifully with nature. 自然と調和した素敵な雰囲気のお宿だったと思います。

The bed sheets themselves had been changed and were clean, but there was a noticeable body odor smell coming from the mattress, pillows, and comforter, which made us feel uncomfortable. I understand that it may be difficult to keep bedding completely dry in a cool and humid area, but I think it would be better to take measures to remove the odor. ベッドシーツ自体は新しいものに交換されていて清潔でしたが、マットレスや枕、掛け布団に体臭のような臭いが染みついており、不快に感じました。涼しく湿度の高い地域なので、寝具を完全に乾燥させるのが難しいことは理解していますが、臭いを除去する対策をした方が良いと思います。

L'hôtel porte bien son nom, effectivement la vue est divine! La chambre est spacieuse et agréable. Les nuits étant plutôt fraîches nous n'avons pas regretté d'avoir pris une chambre sans clim. Les pdj, notamment sri-lankais, sont délicieux, on s'est régalés!

The owners were very understanding of our predicament and kindly did not charge us. It was necessary for us to find alternative accommodation.

This property was in the middle of nowhere, which was ok but my wife is disabled and no mention was made of the 40+ poorly made steps necessary to climb without a handrail to reach the reception. No lift available. We are sure that younger people may find the place and the views magnificent. This we are afraid is a common practice where the properties do not print a clear picture of the pros and cons of their property. A great shame.

Spectacular view coupled with a lovely, comfortable room. The service was great and they do a great breakfast - ask for a hopper for sure! There’s also a great shortcut along the Trainline into Ella (safe to walk)

Quiet location but short walk into town. Incredible views , especially from the highest room. We had ringside seating for an epic thunderstorm. The owners are very helpful and friendly and provide a delicious breakfast .

Przyjemny homestay niedaleko centrum Ella z pięknym widokiem na dolinę i bardzo miłymi właścicielami; smaczne lokalne śniadania i możliwość zamówienia kolacji to duży plus. Dojazd jest trochę trudny, ale lokalizacja pozwala w ok. 10 minut dojść torami do centrum. Pokój bez klimatyzacji, tylko z wiatrakiem, ale w nocy było komfortowo.

Obecność owadów takich jak żuki, żaby czy jaszczurki jest zrozumiała w tej lokalizacji i nam nie przeszkadzała. Niestety mimo ogólnego wrażenia czystości w łazience i na tarasie pojawiły się karaluchy, co bardzo obniżyło komfort pobytu i nie powinno mieć miejsca. Właściciele powinni zdecydowanie zadbać o pest control i użyć odpowiednich środków, bo inaczej goście będą się skarżyć, a miejsce ma duży potencjał.

The location was great, just a short walk along the tracks to town and close to the Ella Rock walk. The room was clean and spacious. The owner was very friendly and was always there to help! Also the breakfast was perfect, even better eating with the amazing view

The name says it all, the view of Ella Rock and Little Adam's Peak was breathtaking. The hospitality here is genuine and heartwarming. The homemade breakfast served on the terrace is an absolute must. It's also an excellent starting point for hiking both Ella Rock and Little Adam’s Peak. Despite the peaceful, elevated location, it's only a 10-minute walk down to the center of Ella.

It was called Divine View, which it was - and the staff, the location, the room and the breakfast were all equally divine! It was a fabulous place to stay. As we drove up the hills to get there it is easy to think it would be a difficult walk to town but the host will show you a short cut which makes the walk extremely simple- no hills and only 7 or 8 minutes to the town centre. It was brilliant.

The location is superb with a fantastic view over the waterfall and Ella gap. The bed was very big and comfy, breakfast excellent.

The wi-fi was not working during the whole stay.

Fabulous view from dining area as well as private terrace in front of room, large comfortable bed and room, helpful staff, easy walking to heart of Ella (10 - 15 minutes), delicious breakfasts and dinner, and pretty much everything we liked. Good value for money.

No surface to place suitcases (aside from bed(s)), loose faucet in bathroom, and breakfast terrace needs an awning or such as it was in the direct sun with no shade (in the morning) (had to wear a hat to eat breakfast)

L'emplacement est top ! La vue est magnifique, le petit déjeuner devant la chambre est très sympa. La famille est très gentille et de très bons conseils. La prochaine fois nous resterons plus longtemps !

Tout est très bien ! Néanmoins si vous avez des problèmes pour marcher ou monter des escaliers cela peut être très compliqué d'accès pour vous.

Magnifique vu, fidèle aux photos. Le petit déjeuné est très bon, avec des fruits issues du jardin (coup de cœur pour les avocats!!). Proche du centre avec le raccourci, pas de problème pour l’emplacement. Les hôtes sont très sympathique! Très bon rapport qualité prix!

Il manquerait juste une serviette pour les cheveux, et la pression d’eau très faible dans la salle de bain.

I really enjoyed the breakfast on the balcony with a beautiful view: it was a great way to start the day. The place was very clean, and the owner was extremely kind and welcoming.

The location is also convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the city center. The only downside is that the path to the center is not well-lit at night, which could be a concern when walking back in the dark.

Es könnte etwas mehr Wert gelegt werden auf die allgemeine Sauberkeit. Tisch und Tischdecke auf der Terrasse waren ziemlich verschmutzt.

Las vistas son espectaculares, mientras te tomas un desayuno completísimo con platos típicos del país. Las camas son comodísimas, tienen mosquiteras y te proporcionan agua y lo que necesites. Hemos estado increíblemente bien.

Absolut fantastische und herzliche Gastgeber, ein köstliches Frühstück auf der Terrasse und ein Traum-Blick auf den Ella Rock und den Little Adams Peak. Wir haben die 5 Tage in Ella sehr genossen und fanden es großartig, etwas abseits vom Touri-Trubel zu sein (aber dennoch schnell im Ort). Das köstliche Frühstück auf der Terrasse war ein absolutes Highlight unserer Reise.
