Si hubiera que destacar algo malo (siempre hay que rellenar este espacio) sería el acceso al alojamiento ya que está un poco escondido. Por otro lado, si estuviera al lado de la calle principal se destruiría el silencia, ¿no?

De douche van de family room kan moeilijk te bedienen zijn, het luistert erg precies om die lekker warm te krijgen.

Das Zimmer war neu eingerichtet und groß. Den Balkon und die Aussicht haben wir sehr genossen. Auch das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und wurde direkt auf die Terrasse serviert. Little Adams Peak und die Nine Arches Bridge sind fußläufig erreichbar und auch in die Innenstadt braucht man nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß.

This hotel is located in a very peaceful area with a gorgeous view of Ella mountains! You’ve got an amazing breakfast included every morning as well and the staff is very helpful and kind!!

Absolute beautiful view! The room was clean and comfortable, including a fridge, electric tea kettle and fan. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The host is welcoming and helped me arrange laundry and a Tuk to Flying Ravana. There’s stairs to get down to the room so be mindful of carrying luggage but the view is worth the steps!

The view is really incredible and we loved watching the birds, squirrels and monkeys from the terrace. The location is great; peaceful and surrounded by nature, while still being within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. The local breakfast was lovely and served on the terrace at a time we chose. Also, we were upgraded to a better room free of charge since we were the only guests and the room was very spacious and comfortable.

Amazing view and amazing breakfast, and extremely kind host. it's a secluded place and quiet at night, but easy to each on foot (some 5-10 minutes on feet off the main road, or get a tuk tuk to get you there). It's a side road and not well illuminated, we felt very safe walking there from the center of Ella on our own even at midnight. The host went out of his way to accomodate us and help us out during our stay - thank you!

Dream Views is a fabulous property with the most spectacular views of Little Adams Peak, Ella Rock and the Ella countryside. Nestled in the hills and a short walk to Ella this property is a delight! We stayed in the newly built family room which was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Danuka was an amazing host and provided a large breakfast daily as well as Tuk Tuk rides, a Landry service and transport to our next destination. Would definitely recommend this property.

Fantastic views from the balcony. The room seemed very new - even the shower was very fancy :) Breakfast at the balcony in the morning with the amazing views before us was incredible. During night time, it was possible to see the fireflies from the balcony, and in the morning, birds. The host was very kind too and was present in case we had any questions.

There was no aircondition which made the room feel a bit humid at night, but there was a fan.

И каждое утро, когда я выходил из номера, я только и мог, что сидеть и любоваться этим видом. Знаете, часто вы в отпуске приезжаете на смотровые точки, и, например, минут 10 смотрите на горы и думаете: «Вау, как красиво». А теперь представьте, что ваш дом построили прямо на этой точке. Вот в этом отеле именно так. Жить там было очень интересно. Поскольку я постоянно сидел дома и работал, удалённо, сразу скажу: Wi-Fi был очень хорошим. А когда скорость упала, я обратился к персоналу, и они его починили. Wi-Fi был просто отличным. Пока я сидел и работал, ко мне постоянно прилетали разные виды птиц, прибегали бурундуки. Иногда какие-то более крупные животные показывались, но близко не подходили. В общем, чувствуешь себя практически как в зоопарке. Ночью, если выключить свет, на улице видно очень много летающих жуков-светлячков. С лампочкой в попе. В общем, спасибо большое этому отелю. Персонал был очень дружелюбным, всегда шёл на уступки. Завтрак приносили в любое время, в какое я захочу. А я иногда хотел ближе к 12, и это не было проблемой. Стирка вещей в этом отеле — одна из самых дешёвых в округе. Поэтому даже не ищите в других местах. Можете прямо отдавать им, и это будет дёшево. Всего 600 рупий за килограмм. В других местах было 800, 900. Учитывайте, что жильё находится в небольшом отдалении от других, то есть вы чувствуете там себя наедине с природой. И в отеле всего два номера, и они расположены в каждой в отдельном домике. Это огромный плюс для тех, кто не любит быть среди большого количества людей. Там ты чувствуешь себя очень уединённо, и можешь просто созерцать природу, сидеть на шезлонге и читать книжку. Кстати, очень похвалю веранду, на которой стоит огромный стол с четырьмя стульями, и есть два шезлонга, очень удобных. Я стелил на них своё одеяло и лежал читал книгу с видом на эти великолепные горы.

Минусов у этого жилья практически нет. Иногда ночью под крышей шуршат какие-то животные, возможно, бурундуки. Или птички, а может быть, летучие мышки. Но они не могут попасть в дом, так что всё в порядке. Из минусов, из небольших минусов, могу сказать, что сама внутренняя убранство дома не очень дорогое, и кровать небольшая. Я ростом 178 впритык помещался на ней. Но надо учитывать, что это не номер делюкс, это обычный номер. В номере делюкс гораздо лучше условия.

Cette chambre avec grande terrasse offre une vue incroyable en pleine nature. Les oiseaux chantent, un écureuil se promène, c’est incroyable. La chambre est grande et très moderne et propre . Aucun insecte dans la chambre. Les breakfast, servis sur la terrasse privée sont excellents. Le propriétaire, très humble peut vous proposer ses services de tuktuk ou de taxi.

Tout est parfait Attention aux personnes ayant du mal à se déplacer, on descend à la chambre par un long escalier

It is located so close to nature that there were quite a few spiders and mosquitoes in the room.

The view is absolutely amazing The balcony is big and totally private Apart from a couple of visits from a squirrel, a bird and fireflies at night pure magic! The breakfast was excellent The owner was very helpful and kind He has his own tuk tuk and took us to a secret waterfall Location is ideal just far enough from the center and close to a very nice restaurant

The view, breakfast and location stand out. The mornings were the best. The walk to town is up and down and not well lit, but it is close enough that it was convenient, far enough it is quiet. I got to see some fireflies at night and the sunrise on Ella Rock is beautiful. Hope to return one day. The host is also incredibly kind and helpful. He deserves a special shoutout too.

The insects. Bug spray on the balcony is requires, though he did give me a coil which helped. Given the cabin like setting and structure, inevitably some insects make it inside, though there is mosquito netting which really helped.

The room was a large private cabin providing direct views over the Ella gap valley, flanked by Ella Rock & Little Adams peak - stunning! We were greeted to a cup of Ceylon tea whilst taking in the views, and continued to enjoy them when dining on the excellent breakfast each morning. Wildlife is abundant here - we spent a while in the early morning watching macaque monkeys, giant squirrels and many bird varieties in the trees opposite. The location is a little off the main track which made it so peaceful too.

The room was not completely sealed and so there was a chance to be visited by a few 'small guests' now and again. The hot water was not reliable during our stay.

The view from my balcony was fabulous (see pic) and the facilities are good, considering this is a only a modestly priced place. The breakfast was excellent. The proprietor, Chinthaka also owns a tuktuk, so he can take you into Ella town if you need. As a bonus, after returning from dinner in Ella town, there were fireflies flickering in front of my balcony.

Райское местечко в центре города но не слышно городской суеты, прекраснешей вид , бунгало для двоих плюс доп кровать , отличный плотный завтрак , по приезду угостили вкусным кофе , приятный хозяин отвёз наз за символическую плату на девятиарочный мост и обратно, показал очень приличное кафе с живой музыкой "360 градусов" и очень вкусным ужином, великолепно провели время , утром к нам на завтрак пришли борундуки в гости , всем рекомендуем 10 из 10.

Keşke pencerelerden birinde sineklik olsa. Sinek böcek girecek diye pencere açılmıyor , içerisi biraz havasız. İçeri böcek örümcek girebiliyor korkanlar tercih etmemeli. Maymunlar gece çatıda hoplayıp zıplayarak sizi uyandırıp biraz sizi korkutabiliyorlar :)

Wow the simplisity or just being able to sit in a quite space with an amazing panaramic view. We sat in our chairs at the cliff edge watching an amazing sunrise eating a supurb breakfast away from the busel of the Ella main streets.

More time to stay than just one day

Uno dei posti più belli in cui sono stata. Proprietario gentilissimo, mi ha preparato un’ottima, abbondante e varia colazione. Stanza bellissima a 10 minuti a piedi da negozi e punti di interesse, ma la parte più bella è rilassarsi nel grazioso portico della camera che si affaccia sulla foresta.

Sitio perfecto para pasar unos días en Ella. Vistas impresionantes, desayuno en la terraza muuuy bueno, 100% recomendable. El propietario nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos e incluso nos acercó en su Tuk Tuk al día siguiente. Lo recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera una estancia ideal en Ella.

The owner is very helpful and humble. The scenery from the place is amazing. Hot shower, amenities, breakfast,etc..

Location: Incredible view with privacy, yet a few minutes walk from the restaurants and shops. Exceptional Internet/WIFI: My speed test clocked it at 80-90MBS. You can easily stream or take a video call while watching monkeys play in the trees. Breakfast: Delicious spreads with variations each day and enough to save items for lunch. Host: Very kind and helpful for explaining the hikes and other sites in the area. We loved this place so much that we extended our stay. No negative surprises or downsides.

Our host was really lovely and helped us carry our bags up and down the steps to the room. He also put a lot of effort into breakfast every morning. The view was incredible, both Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak. Eating breakfast on the patio with such a great view was a bonus. The room itself is very basic and although clean, does look worn and tired. The shower was always warm or hot but the wet room remains wet for quite a while. Watch out for the leaches! The steps down to the room are surrounded by greenery and we both found little travellers attached to us on various occasions. The room is within easy walking distance to the main streets of Ella, about ten minutes. It’s quite hilly and can be a bit slippy when wet. It’s also not very well lit so we used the torch on our phones but you could just get a Tuk Tuk.

The room was very basic and a bit tired which made it seem kind of grubby even though it was clean. The wet room takes a long time to dry and there are lots of leeches around but this can’t be helped given the area and is the price you pay to be surrounded by nature with such a beautiful view! If you would freak out to find a leach on you, this might not be the place for you.

Tucked away in the nature, surrounded by beautiful flowers and scenic views, you’ll find this dreamy place. Wish I could go again to have the delicious breakfast there on the terrace. The hosts are the kindest people. You’ll feel at home.

Amazing location, with an uninterrupted ‘dream view’ of Ella’s Rock, Little Adam’s Peak and the whole valley. Very peaceful and quiet, but less than 10 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of Ella. Lovely accommodation and fantastic host. Danuka was very helpful and always available. Organised laundry, provided great breakfast and lots of Sri Lankan tea.

This is a wonderful retreat close to the centre of busy Ella. The cottage is perched on the edge of a steep hill with a magnificent view of Ella Gap and Ella Rock. Eating breakfast , freshly cooked by Danuka and family, on the terrace is a lovely experience. The room and bathroom are quite rustic and simple. But there is good light, a strong fan, lots of power points, a fridge and kettle. A cmfortable bed too. You are surrounded by nature. Monkeys are nearby. Deer visited at night apparently. One morning a hawk-eagle perched for a long time on a nearby branch.

Fabulous view of Ella Rock and Little Adam's Peak. Very strong WiFi. Ella is a busy town, we were only a 10 minute walk but Dream View is very peaceful. The host is very helpful. Breakfast excellent, you will not need a lunch

Really nice view. Simple but cosy apartment which you have for you alone. Outside of the Main street, quiet in the Night except you hear some monkeys climbing:) The owner was so nice, waiting with breakfast for us, because we were out exploring Ella in the morning. We enjoyed the stay very much and would come again!

The view and the breakfast are tied for first place! We really enjoyed sitting on the verandah with a cup of delicious tea looking at the million dollar views of Ella Rock and Little Adam’s Peak. The views were magnificent at all times of the day and we never got tired of enjoying them. The breakfasts provided by Danuka’s wife were delicious and generous. We looked forward to them from the night before hehe. Danuka has a tuk tuk with reasonably priced fares. We walked to and from Ella in under ten minutes each way, no problem. It is an easy walk from the home stay to the start of the Little Adam’s Peak trailhead. There are a few steps (44 says hubby who counted them) from the road down to the homestay but not a problem if you are reasonably fit and can carry your own bags (although Danuka does help you to carry).

There are leeches in the Ella area and this homestay is not immune to them unfortunately. Check your shoes and clothes before you enter the room and just be careful they are horrible little suckers to deal with!

Beautiful little cottage with amazing view. The breakfast was also really nice. We loved waking up to the sound with squirrels on the porch. There is also good laundry service and the owner was really nice.

The view is just amazing! We had a wonderfull stay at this appartment! It is incredible how such a beautiful place with this view and a lot of privacy is so close to the centre of Ella(7min walk). We even wanted to extend our visit. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was great. The bathroom was clean and the hot shower was great. The host is super friendly. He gave us a couple of rides to the centre. We want to come back for sure!

Great spot to stay in Ella, beautiful views, very peaceful but still short walk to the town centre. Danuka made us delicious breakfast and drove us to our next destination in his tuktuk. He also organised a taxi service with his brother who was very kind and drove us a long way. Really appreciated, great service and stay in general.

Absolutely lovely place to be

Amazing little bungalow with two beds, bathroom and mini fridge. Close to Ella town (about 10 min walk) but you feel like you’re in the middle of the mountains. The view of Ella rock is amazing. The breakfast is great and more than enough food! It’s the only unit and it’s the furthest from the road so you have privacy, feels like you have the mountain to yourself!

Great location, amazing view in relative seclusion, but still only 10mims walk to town. Danuka is very hospitable and makes an excellent breakfast.

Care is needed when descending the stairs to the accommodation, particularly in the wet - as I found out!

This place is a true gem. I cannot begin the emphasis how serene and breath taking the view is. It's better than the pictures. The place is literally the last place before the valley overlooking Ella Rock which looks like in touching distance. The location is facing the rising morning sun and is therefore shielded from the afternoon sun so therefore it's nice and cool on veranda. It's also within walking distance to town and the wildlife is amazing. There is a whole gang of monkeys that sleep on the huge pine trees right in front on the place and scamper away up hill during the day and returns back to sleep there early evening. It was immensely enjoyable watching the families of monkeys cuddling on the pines and I kept fruit from breakfast to feed them. Whilst cautious the monkeys will come very close to you if you feed them. I also spotted a woodpecker right outside the room. The owner's (who lives nearby) dog might also come hang out with you if you show interest in the dog. At points when I returned back from Ella town, it's attractions or walks, I felt the view from the stay was the major attraction. It's truly a dream view. The owner is a lovely and helpful man too. Don't miss out on this spot.

Wonderful views in your own little house with nobody else around. Amazing and big breakfast and tea included. Very clean, mosquito nets and fridge in the room. Owner is really friendly and always available if you need something (he also drives a tuktuk and can take you around). Really recommend if you look for something quit and peaceful.

The view is indeed a dream! The apartment was very clean and less than a 10 minutes walk from the main street. The included sri lankan breakfast is very delicious and the owner is super friendly and even took us his with his tuk tuk to the train station. We would definitely come back here!!

I found this real jem in Ella, and I can tell that is an incredible & unique piece of paradise. The place is super_nice and cosy, plunged in the fairy tale nature environment. This is much more than an accommodation, I would call it an authentic "posto dell'Anima" (Soul's Place) Overlooking the valley from the patio you feel immediately and continously immersed in a profound sense of peace and the silence here is somewhat healing. The owner, Dhanuka, is always very nice and helpful. Watching the monkeys playing on the trees while having a breakfast of great quality was simply a superb experience. Surely the most romantic place I've ever enjoyed my days and nights in Asia.

This spot is an absolute gem! A single unit with a stunning view, I loved everything about it. Beds were comfy, water was hot, I loved having a fridge and tea kettle, and the breakfast was massive with fruit, eggs, tea, and always some version of roti with butter and jam- a feast! It was just a few minutes walk to town but was very quiet and you felt like you had the whole hillside to yourself. I ended up extending my stay and would highly recommend to anyone!

The wifi was excellent! And the view was stunnig! We were very happy with our stay we wanted to extend it but sadly it was booked! So he helped us find a place next door.

This place is absolutely amazing! If you will stay at this apartment you will be rewarded with amazing views and you will be surrounded by nature. It is a single cottage, so you can enjoy to beautiful view all for yourself. From the terrace you can even spot monkeys in the morning and fireflies in the evening! Every morning there is a delicious breakfast served and the owner is super friendly. It is a short walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Ella. The wifi is working great and you can have a warm shower. I would totally recommend to stay at this place to everyone. It really is a special experience. I would love to come back one day.
