The ironing room is too far and needs to be cleaned its like a storage room and an ironing board would be nice.

We hardly spent time there due to all of our activities but not once did we come back and the place was not clean. The place itself is absolutely beautiful and worth the stay. A good getaway, would actually book this place again should I be in that area

There was a lack of communication between management and I . I asked for tissue as I was only given 1 for the whole weekend and it became an issue . The room was terrible. It was a bit shaky and the wadrob was too old . Aircon was not working. Water was cold !

The beds, please replace the beds. I think when booking notify your guest that you also have a conference running the same time, because it becomes very loud at 7.30 or 8am in the morning.

The wooden floor made it uncomfortable at night because we could hear all the footsteps and noise coming from the guests upstairs. I’m terrified of cats , there was always a cat by our patio and door so it was difficult for me to leave the room and enjoy seating outside.

A mat would've been nice to have, especially in the bathroom. The shower drains water slowly so the floor ends up wet and you're forced to step on the wet floor. Parking is also tricky.

The bathtub plug 'leaks' so water runs out even though you closed it. Mould in the clothing cupboards. The tea/coffee tray wasn't at a plug - I had to plug my kettle into my bedside. Had to clean the kettle because there was a 'black build-up' inside the kettle. No bottled water to drink. Not even available to purchase. A loud fridge which served no purpose, as nothing was in there. Very thin duvet inner, glad there was a thick blanket. Breakfast - not worth the cost. The menu offering did not reflect what was put out. We gave our hot option the night prior & mentioned would make use of the self-service, but half the things were out. Muffins were hard, 'cheeses' were grated Gouda, and preserves were 'mixed jam'. Coffee = Ricoffy instant granules - nothing else available. My colleague, who had an egg allergy (which we communicated) had a little tub of yoghurt & cornflakes. Ended up getting a coffee & something to eat for less than R100 down the road.

We stayed at the Executive suit downstairs. No issues with the property or stay. However the guest staying above us were extremely noisy, moving furniture around and came back after a night out. And from 2 am right until 5 am they just partied and kept us awake, including my toddle of 3 year. Just my little suggestion is to have a note in all units about noise and partying levels after a certain time. As some of us just want the peace and quiet.

Reviewed May 9, 2026The place was convenient and close to the shopping complex and the famous Florida Road. Everything was accessible with the Windermere shopping complex. The staff was friendly and we felt like home. We won't mind calling again.
They should consider putting a stove for self-catering. Some of us are eating porridge as our stable diet which is hard to find in KZN.

Reviewed Feb 8, 2026The staff working at the facility are so friendly and welcome. The facility is so clean and beautiful. The rooms are clean and well ventilated. I really enjoyed my stay and l will recommend the facility to others who would like to visit Durban.
The only thing they can change is to add the breakfast fee on the payment not to count it aside. I chose the facility because breakfast was included but was told on the day l have to come that fir breakfast l have to pay extra money.
