Breakfast was great and on time.. We spent most of the day out but enjoyed the peace and quiet when we got back.

They took long to open for us on the 1st day and we had an issue with the flushing system to our bathroom. Other than that its a great place en would def book again when i am in durban.

It was very clean and not much noise from other guests and staff

It is neat and comfortable the bed was nice; the room was perfect for sleeping and working. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The choice of breakfast was very nice and tasty, Overall, I was very happy thank you.

I used the kettle in the main kitchen the one in the room did not look friendly, there is no bar fridge in the room. the room is a tad on the small side, and the main road noises was n bit of a irritation.

Loved the old sash windows and the gorgeous old-school black-and-white bathroom. The old photos of Durban on loan from the museum in the dining room were fascinating. The omelettes were superb! Service was excellent.

Sad that the bath is no longer an option, but I do understand why.

Lovely guesthouse. Thank you for giving me a bedroom with a bath. Nice air-conditioner.

The staff was just great: very helpful and accommodating, very caring, nice to have a chat with. The room was beautiful with a high ceiling at the quieter back side of the house. Breakfast was good. I also liked the strong shower.

I would have liked the ven to have worked in the room, since I don't like airconditioning very much and the ven would just have been perfect at night in this weather. But that's a minor thing. Everything else was fine.

Reception by the staff was excellent. All staff was friendly and showed willingness to listen and help.

My grandchild saw the big cockroach and was very scared. Improved pest control would be appreciated.

It suited my needs - to have easy access to Essenwood Residential Home. Breakfasts were very good and served at the time you requested. The staff were very friendly.

The staff was too loud, so there was constant noise when they are around; I couldnt rest during the day as my room was adjacent to the kitchen

Small parking space, my car received a dent from another car that was parking there. Got bit by a bug while sitting outside 😅

Being placed within the house other guests have no regard for privacy and noise tolerance.maybe next time being placed in a private cottage.

The tv sound is very soft, could not hear it at all. Tried both volumes on DSTV as well as TV remote. Pillows very soft.

easy to find, owner contacted us and made sure he was there for check in, room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. the breakfast is just wonderful, one of the best breakfast's i have had in a long time. the ladies who prepare the food and clean the rooms know their job perfectly, very warm atmosphere from the owner to the staff

i drive a small car so for me the space for parking was not an issue, if you drive a big car, you might have an issue. otherwise all is well.

Breakfast was cooked as per our requests. The room was spacious, clean, the bed very comfortable, and very handy with the ensuite. Having access the kitchen was very convenient as we could bring food in and use those facilities. The manager, Felix and staff were always helpful.

Parking and access can be a bit tricky if there are 3 or more cars parked at the same time. Pillows were on the small side. Keep the coffee, tea and sugar stocked up every day.

The service and staff are excellent, but the location is far from restaurants, liquors stores and the beach, I was using bolt and uber on a busy weekend it cost me close to a thousand rand for five days due to location of the place.

The place was well maintained and the staff very open and welcoming.

We only stayed one night, but it was a restful place to be after our flight. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep.

Beautiful stay, superb hospitality. Friendly staff from owner to staff. Very neat and tidy. It is very close to VFS centre for visa application. Great location .Wonderful Breakfast. Value for money indeed. I would recommend it any day. I will difinitely come back.

Nothing I like everything abt that place

Location was very central and it was a short walk to two supermarkets. I slept very well due to comfortable mattress and good quality bed linen.

Unfortunately the cold tap in shower was very stiff. Room one lacked a long mirror. This could go next to the door, and would be very useful!

The location of the property and the fact that parking was safe. Breakfast was really nice

Unfortunately our bathroom was dirty. Balls of hairs all over the floor. Towels had stains on them. Shower door was broken & could close completely

We loved everything about our stay, it felt like home away from home. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Property was good the bedroom was so so comfortable I slept like a baby. The bathrooms were beautiful. Staff was awesome and breakfast was lovely. The owners even gave us an extra room I mean how awesome is that.

We had a beautiful time at Coweys Corner.. The place is beautiful and clean... The staff was amazing especially Felix... He looked after us real good... He was helpful, knowledgeable and patient... Everything that we needed we asked him and he came through... I really appreciated him...he even turned to be our cameramen as well... Lol.... The food was good and they served us on time everyday. Would definitely come back.. The place has beautiful gardens for pictures and we'll maintained and it is so quite and peaceful... It is spacious especially for a family. We had an amazing stay.

Everything was good shame I would just suggest that can there be more variety when it comes to breakfast especially for guests that will be there for a long time.

It was clean . It was at the center of town so most sites we planned to visit were easy to reach ❤️. Uncle Felix was surely of great help his level of patience was 💯 The entire team was super friendly .id go back again

The place is very neat and taken off..Felix he welcomed us with smile and showed us around. Close to Florida road beaches and the malls. Staff is also welcoming. Nice breakfast and we are definitely going back. Peaceful and quiet wow. While you go away you come backbro a clean neat room 💃🏻🕺

The property was in a good quiet area and was not far from food franchises and it was in a safety neighbourhood.

The stay was wonderful, hospitality staff were very humble and friendly. Room for improvement, various alcohol beverage on site to cater or ask your guest before hand.

My boyfriend and I always book there if we’ll be around Durban! The owner & the staff always accommodate our needs! The best B&B in Durban! The breakfast is always exceptional! The staff make sure to clean our rooms every time we leave the place, the breakfast has a variety to pick from! It’s so peaceful & quiet! Love it here!

A convenient location of the VFS Global Durban location. Short walk to shops (checkers/woolworths)

Extremely difficult driveway, cars blocked other people in, awkward to exit the property. Zero consideration from other guests & staff of noise levels. Staff didn’t seem to know we were booked in, zero induction and handed one “breakfast card” to order our breakfast for the morning, with a time requirement, and we could clearly see the food had been microwaved anyway. Zero service at breakfast despite being the only people in the dining room at the time.

The breakfast friendly Staff include Mr Felix who welcomed us with smile and always helpfully when you need something.

Dstv some channel weren't working and tv picture quality was not in good condition.

It's quiet and peaceful.

if I'm being too picky but the pillows stuffed with feathers were not comfortable, they kept pricking/stabbing me in my sleep.

It was more homely. I felt so comfortable like I’m home. More like a self catering plus they still offer breakfast
