The location is good we can easily access tourist spots and it's very near in the fort kochi beach. The cleanliness and comfort it gave us during our stay was amazing. John and the family were super friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. For the price it is really a great deal ❤️

Great location in Fort Kochi, a short walk to the beach and all other attractions. 100 rupee auto ride to Mattancherry and Jew Town. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Unlimited complimentary drinking water. Good value for money.

The room was insanely hot all day and night. The only way to cool off was to take a shower and lie completely wet under the fan. There is aircon in the room but the owner charges an extra 400 rupees per day to switch it on. Not a lot of money really but half the room price on top. There are good mosquito screens on all the windows but mosquitos are still a big problem, as mentioned by other guests. Overall a good budget option. Only real downside was that the room was like an oven, even with the windows open. We stayed there in mid-March. Probably a lot nicer in the cooler months.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this homestay in Fort Kochi! It was not only amazingly affordable, but also located in a lovely and peaceful locality that's easily accessible to the town, major tourist spots, and just a short walk from the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the washroom was super clean—a big plus! All basic amenities were provided, and the hosts were very accommodating. They even adjusted our check-out time slightly when we needed it, which was really thoughtful. The area is Blinkit, Zomato, and Uber-friendly, so getting essentials or food delivered was super easy. The atmosphere felt safe, homely, and welcoming, and we genuinely felt at ease throughout our stay. We ended up extending our stay because we loved the place so much—both for the comfort it offered and how budget-friendly it was. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Fort Kochi!

Loved how clean and modern the room was in a central location to Fort Kochi. John was very helpful in any requests. Be aware that it is in a location of a Muslim community so you may hear early morning prayers. Thankyou for the stay!

If you have AC on is okay to sleep, Non AC room is too much noise at night. You can’t leave the door open.

People around this house kept burning leafs , which creates horrible smell that leaked into the room. The room I stayed was very hot even in the evening. I could feel the heat even through the floor. It seems the heat cannot leave the room easily until pretty late in the evening like 1 am.

I’ve been staying in hostels in India and I feel like I’ve been missing out on how great home stays are now. This honestly was very clean and well run. I didn’t know a room could feel this clean and nice in India until staying here. I would recommend for anyone as it feels very safe, location is good, and felt clean.

This is a wonderful place to stay. John was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the little balcony was a bonus.

John is a warm, friendly, kind, helpful, responsive host. The location is quiet and peaceful but an easy walk away from everything you need. The place is clean and neat, the room is comfortable, spacious, with everything that's needed. It's affordable and just a real pleasure to have found.

Nothing to dislike

Disturbing experience

My wife was unable to locate her phone, and asked for support from the staff. Upon finding that we have found our phone, the staff behaved in the worst manner in my absence with my wife, with our infant daughter in the room, despite my wife's apologies to the staff. This left my wife in a state of shock, inconsolable. Later staff shared his apology, however this experience left a disturbing impression on us.

I loved my stay. The location is good. The room size was average but it got upgraded to a spacious one. The host is a nice person. He helped me with other additional information and guided me further.

A balcony for drying clothes would be great.

Clean comfortable room. Close to the beach and other attractions. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The host let us in early and let us check out later than usual. Can't beat this kind of service, especially at this price. Would totally recommend this place

It costs extra £3.50 per night for AC which is quite steep and we weren’t aware of this before staying

Ac is shown in the photos so I guessed it comes with the price I paid ....but actually when you book the room it's not included in the booking price ...you have to pay etc for it...
