Villa des Roses Voltaire

The unit was clean, spacious and well stocked. We only slept and showered in it, however, because we were visiting family nearby. (We chose this property because it was walking distance from them.) The hosts were friendly and helpful.

The stairs!! I knew that we were on the 3rd floor, up stairs. However, I forgot that in the US, that means the 4th floor. The staircase was narrow, steep, and dark.

The breakfast was fantastic! The owners placed extra effort by providing gluten-free bread and items for breakfast, which was extraordinary! This was perfect for our first morning in the city.

Favoloso appartamento molto caratteristico che esprime tutta la tipicità dell'architettura delle case del luogo; comodo per la posizione, con molti servizi vicino (tram e supermercati); i proprietari gentilissimi e molto accomodanti (ci hanno permesso di lasciare le valigie l'ultimo giorno molto oltre l'orario del check out).

Es un tercer piso sin ascensor con unas empinadas y estrechas escaleras, mejor no ir cargado de equipaje. El baño algo pequeño para ser cómodo

The apartment may be small (perfect for a group of 4), but it is thoughtfully designed and well furnished. It has a lovely atmosphere, and the hosts are friendly, polite, and accommodating. It is also quite quiet, making it a comfortable place to stay

Los anfitriones eran muy agradables, nos permitieron dejar las maletas durante el día que nos íbamos. El apartamento estaba muy limpio y ordenado, y tenía todo lo necesario para cocinar, así como secador de pelo, plancha… El barrio era tranquilo, multicultural, pero como toda Bruselas. El apartamento era también muy silencioso, se descansa bien.

Está un poco lejos del centro, aunque se llega muy rápido en tranvía.

La gentillesse du propriétaire, son service impeccable, sa souplesse sur les heures, le parking, sur les adaptations de dernière minute, sur mes demandes spéciales pour le petit déjeuner, le café, le lait et le thé à disposition dans cet appartement confortable... Et cet incroyable petit déjeuner!

A beautiful property on a large residential avenue, where the accommodation is up 3 flights of stairs to the top floor. It is quirky but very comfortable with a kitchen area, dining, bathroom with shower over bath, twin bedroom and mezzanine with chairs and sofa bed. Small but perfectly formed. The owners offer the option of breakfast delivered at your choice of time, which was excellent. Freshly cooked eggs, lovely bread, cheese, ham as well as freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Although out of the city centre, tram connections are excellent. It is also very close to a bus which goes directly to the airport.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It has its own charm and we felt very secure and comfortable. The property description was clear about the stairs access so we were prepared. It is a residential area so be mindful of needs like restaurants/ cafes if you want something local. There were recommendations provided although we didn’t use any because of the nature of our visit.

Proprietaria gentilissima, appartamento situato al terzo piano di una vecchia casa stupenda e caratteristica, ma bisogna fare un po’ di scale 😉 l’appartamento è accogliente, caldo , come essere a casa propria. Non abbiamo preso la colazione, ma a disposizione ci sono caffè, tisane e latte . È a circa 3 km dal centro ma si arriva facilmente con i mezzi, la fermata del tram è a circa 350 metri. Non abbiamo avuto difficoltà a spostarci. Tutto perfetto, siamo stati bene

Appartement très agréable, calme, confortable et très bien équipé. Le tram passe à proximité pour rejoindre le centre de Bruxelles. Benoit est un hôte très sympathique. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Bruxelles.

It was really very cozy and we had a lot of space. Birds singing in the morning, a park nearby. The owner is a very friendly woman. We had even fruits in the land a lot of lovely books in French, guides of Brüssel...I really enjoyed it to be there.

Very nice apartment, spacious, clean and good equipped. It is on the top of an historical house so there a lot of stairs, but that is to be expected in this type of building. Location is not in the city center, but there is tram and bus station few minues walk and there is direct tram line to city center. Neighborhood is quiet and there is few shops and bakery near. Host was friendly and helpful.

The flat was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and really well located. The complimentary teas and coffee were a really nice addition.

The top flat was up 4 flights of stairs, which could be tiring. But it’s an old house and this is to be expected!

The apartment was nice. There was quite a lot of space.

Even though it says that the apartment is on the 3rd floor. It's the 3rd floor of an old building. For me it was alright but for elderly persons or persons with a lot of luggage that might be nan issue.

We don't take breakfast, we made it ourselves. Place is very peaceful

Stairs

The apartment is quite spacious and quiet. Bus and tram stops are nearby together with a small supermarket. A small flat TV is provided with Netflix and Proximus subscriptions. In the kitchen there is a small fridge, coffee machine, microwave hoven and all it is needed to cook. The bathroom is relatively small but well organised.

Fornitures in the room were a bit old but still nice looking. The sofa on the upper floor seemed a bit dirty (stains were here and there). Let's say this may be improved but still quite an high quality/price ratio.

Breakfast was superb and the staff was very helpful.

Neighborhood is not the best, however its near a nice park

Lots of stairs to climb, and the beds are way to low and small for me at 1.93 centimeters tall. The owners are very helpful and nice.

Excellent host who helped us to carry the luggage and had a very cozy and nice apartment prepared

Located in a quiet neighborhood accessible by foot or bus. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, bathroom and kitchen are well equipped with everything. Friendly and welcoming host also gave us recommendations around the city.
