Geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit einem tollen Blick ins Tal von der Veranda konnten wir durchschnaufen und uns entspannen. Leigh-Anne und Andrew sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Über ihre Webseite kann man übrigens noch ein Abendessen auf der Farm oder eine Führung buchen. Wir haben den gemeinsamen Abend auf jeden Fall sehr genossen.

Reviewed Mar 12, 2025It was self contained, in a wonderful location on a working farm. The hosts were a delight to be with, and were very accommodating.
It is a bit of a distance from the centre of Cromwell, so be prepared to drive back from the town. A car or taxi would usually be required.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2025I had a wonderful stay at Rose Creek. Lovely cottage on a hill overlooking vineyards and farmland, cozy bed, a healthy breakfast and a delicious dinner with the family. Had good conversations, in the morning Andrew showed me around on their property and farmland. Felt like visiting friends!

Reviewed Jan 19, 2025Awesome, cozy place! Leigh-Anne and Andrew were great hosts and made time to show us around the farm and share a wine tasting. Let us do laundry in the garage. Breakfast was a variety of local muesli, pastries, and fresh seasonal fruits.
Cromwell is a quiet area which we liked, some people may want a more urban area

The cottage was comfortable and the hosts, Leigh-Ann and Andrew were friendly and helpful. We appreciated their efforts to provide gluten-free options. We recommend Rose Creek.
The cottage is a bit remote and the road rocky. Yet, that is part of its attractiveness.

The cottage was beautiful, very comfortable and clean. There was plenty of food for breakfast, suited to our dietary needs. We stayed for 2 nights, and the room was freshened up daily. It was lovely and quiet, and the hosts were very accommodating. We would stay there again.

Reviewed Jan 18, 2024Our stay at Rose Creek Cottage was exceptional. Leigh Anne and Andrew are wonderful hosts. Seeing their horses and spending time with the valais sheep was a magical experience. The cottage has been recently renovated, is spotlessly clean, and the location is very quiet despite only being a 5 minute drive from Cromwell.

Reviewed Jan 2, 2024The apartment is a small separate building adjacent to the main house. Leigh-Anne and Andrew are very good hosts. We enjoyed a cold platter from them for supper on the terrace accompanied by wines grown on their land. All very delicious!
It was a lovely stay. Could have been even better with a little more choice for breakfast (cheese, more toast) and wine glasses for the lovely wine.

Compared to similar accommodation, we thought this BnB was a bit on the pricey side. A tv would add to the relaxation.

The animals are an awesome way to start the day: black nose sheep, horses, pony, chickens! Honey from the farm is delicious. Will try some of the other goodies too!

A short walk offers incredible views and the opportunity to meet some friendly sheep. We would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed Jan 16, 2023I found a little gem when I booked Rose Creek Cottage. The location is amazing. Waking up every morning with stunning views was so good for my mind. It is up a mountain and a very tranquil place to spend a few days. Hidden away yet near enough to visit the nearby town of Cromwell and the beautiful Lake Dunstan. I was travelling alone and felt very safe. The cottage has lovely decor, kitted out well and extremely comfortable. Added plus was meeting the cute Valois black nose sheep and little lambs. Leigh-Anne and Andrew are very friendly hosts and helpful and very busy people.
There is very little not to like with this cottage. I do think a microwave in the kitchen area would be useful and storage for clothing.

Fabulous views, very clean cottage with lovely touches and delicious breakfast.. Very comfortable bed with quality linen making a good nights sleep. Leigh-Anne and Andrew are wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend a stay to experience this little piece of paradise.

Extremely welcoming and friendly owners - and the in-cottage continental breakfast supplies - milk / juice / tea / coffee . bread / pastries / cereal - just right.
